I see a big pub like EA not pushing the game, if it doesn't get enough grass-roots attention, languishing for years like Puppeteer or ICO did before being discovered by normies. I recommend sharing this with people, if you want it to succeed.

I'm a huge fan Gaiman's works in written form, and because of that, Mirrormask was s huge disappointment. Just like everything they tried to adapt from him to moving pictures: American Gods, Coraline, Beowulf, Neverwhere, Good Omens (the ending meh), Stardust... name it. Mirrormask had so many potential, especially because David McKean designed it (love his works in comics too) but they rushed it. With 2010+ vfx it'd have been a much better movie. p.s. I have no idea why you call it a Jim Henson movie. :thinkingface:

I see many disappointed people IMHO: The story is good The design and the mood are awesome Also the world building is great because of variety between the six areas Now, about the gameplay, i liked it but it's not perfect Exploration and subquest are good, the problem with the strange but original combat system is that there aren't a lot of cards Useful cards are not so many, so you have not much variety between fights during the game Sometimes the game changes some rules, this is good but it's not enough Furthermore at a certain point you buy all cards and there aren't new ones Anyway I strongly suggest to everyone to try this game because it's a good game with good story and atmosphere and despite everything i liked this new fresh idea for the combat system
About a year ago, the devs stated they had ideas for a sequel or spin-off. No idea if those plans have any chance of materializing, considering the studio merged with a different one not long after that interview released.
Watching the trailer made me think that the game might have been produced in collaboration with Laika, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Still, the artstyle look beautiful and it will be interesting to learn more about the actual gameplay.
