This looks like a potential masterpiece to me. The art style, the story, the gameplay... I really hope I won't get disappointed. Looking forward to this game release.
@@gabriellio I’ve played it for a good amount now. In Threedom currently. The atmosphere in the game is definitely amazing, the story really gets you into it, but isn’t super convoluted and hard to understand. It reminds me of skylanders in a way, don’t know how to describe it. Fully worth checking out.
Tell me about it. I watched the Story Trailer first and was like "Visually great, but suuurely it's not just a mechanically generic platformer merely _aesthetically_ themed around dice..." But this gameplay footage goes beyond even hopeful expectation for a little gimmick. It looks so dynamic. I did not expect such an impressive looking game by a _random_ (lol) studio named "Zoink."
I believe that the game could have been scripted fully before a certain hobbit game came out. In that hobbit game the narrator dies, and the script very clearly says "I do not know what exactly happens when the narrator dies, and I do not want to know." I found a interview talking about a game that could have been fully scripted prior to the hobbit title, but they were not fully sure if it was fully completed or even started.
@@crowmaster9652 no its developed by Zoinks. They've made other adventure games before which are both on the switch, and also both have a Burton-esque style. I'd recommend them both if you're interested
This game honestly though, looks made to edited together for viewing pleasure versus actually playing the game to see how the fights actually are according to your skill.
Tim Burton then Psychonauts of course, are the first two inspirations I thought of. The comparison to American McGee's Alice and the fact that it has card game mechanics merged with classic 3rd person combat pushes me over the edge I think.
This game at least 3 years in the making, so it might be unlikely that there is more games like this. Cris Tales took 5 years to develop from 2016 to 2021; They confirmed it with the items that were included with the digital goods that came with the purchase of the collector's edition.
They already said already that they only talk about information about what want to talk about completely in different locations where they think that the public will never think to look, so maybe another game is in the works considering that the build that we legally accessed had more save files on it than what was publicly released. All of the companies also have a lot of money individually as well to contribute to another fund if they chose to make another game style like this.
Ok this is interesting, I was expecting from the thumbnail something like Little Nightmares, but it's actually something different and honestly my kind of game
The fact that these devs are putting familiar mechanics together in such a new and refreshing way (to me) is almost enough on its own to make me want to buy this, just to support their efforts at attempting something a little different.
Unfortunately they said prior to the public release of the game that they did not have enough money as of then in the predetermined funds to make a physical copy of the game. They may be different now, but they may have also only placed the physical copy if they did end up making it; somewhere online where they that the general public will not think to look as well. They already said that they do not like communicating where everyone can see what you are talking about. The game could also maybe only be a digital download to your SD card as well depending how they might have made up their minds as well. The hardware did already apparently exist by the time that the Nintendo 3DS was already out, and I actually saw it multiple different times online.
It looks like the company put out early builds of the game out through the Playstation store for private feedback of the game. It was probably the case, since we played the very beginning of part of the game only before being halted to review it. It was about a few years ago when it happened.
I believe that they even mentioned NOT TO COMMENT exactly what they said about it to avoid it being potentially viewed the wrong way as well, maybe I guess considering how aware they are PUBLICLY stating PRIVATELY that they do not TRUST social media for talking about their ideas as well!!!!
@@Mike14264 I definitely found the ACTUAL EVIDENCE of what I mentioned earlier MYSLEF otherwise I would not even br mentioning it either as well. Select companies decided to make video games with narrators narrating the adventure at one point of time. Very likely the companies are not doing it anymore, I think, and are releasing the games that they already scripted with added visuals.

It also added up to what I was looking at surrounding them talking about the idea being done around THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE GAME ONLY WITHOUT SAVING!!!! with them even already mentioning that people who rush through ghe game might potentially miss select details about the game DESPITE them thinking that they 100% the game AS WELL!!!!

Okay I'm In. +1 for boardgame logic in a video game because they really aren't so different. Loving the tease of roll & move minigames in this! My best attempt at the genre based on these trailers: It's like Hand of Fate and Munchkin shuffled their cards together for an adventure game. I'm now very interested in what the studio can offer!
Some of the boss fights might be difficult for certain players to be able to do. They specifically said that the very last boss fight of the entire game should not done if you are not used to how the game works. They recommend practicing on another save file first before you go in to the boss room.
We somehow legally accessed a early build of the game that was literally just the very beginning of the game up to the very first cutscene. The graphics were absolutely too blurry and we could not see the background that well. At the end of it we were asked to give feedback on what we played. We gave our honest feedback, and just to let you know; the game at least moves really well. We literally were only allowed to play up to the part of the encounter of the witch before the gameplay was halted.
This likely would not be possible if the people who found the game early, did not report accurately of what they were playing; that is if the other parts of the game were available via the same method that we played ours.
Still if other people has stumbled upon what we managed to stumble upon, the game would have probably taken a little bit longer to get released as well. I am able to write up fully and honestly what I just played whenever I am able to and feel like it sometimes as well. The companies had literally completely forgotten that they even made it as well. We still wrote up what we wrote in a way that hopefully they could use the information to make the gameplay more visually less bright on a lower power processing console by default as well. I am hoping that the Nintendo Switch version of the game is better because of what we wrote up as well. Probably your eyes are not well adjusted to be actually being able to play games with very, very bad brightness in them as well, something that we took into account with other people wanting to express interest in eventually playing the game on a portable console; which we did not even know what it was going to be yet either it was going to be released on yet ether.
So if you are more than likely one of people who are saying that the graphics for the Nintendo Switch version is really bad, they could have been completely way worse if we never even dug up what we did about the game in the first place by a complete accident as well, just randomly going around the Playstation store looking for something to play. We were even saying as we were originally playing it that the portable console version of this game is going to be absolutely unbearable to even being able to see anything at all if it wad going to be released like it was in this current condition; and we very clearly wanted to address the base issue from the ground up in the background layer in the best way that we could to make it potentially not an issue as well. They make blue screen protection screens for the Nintendo Switch as well, more than likely what we managed to write up about the content of what we plated maybe partially contributed to actually making them a reality as well.
It would not necessarily surprise me considering that the companies likely take anything seriously if it is related something that they all agree on, and they definitely all have the money individually to chip individually by themselves to more than likely make a product a reality if no one else agrees to fund it. They might even have more money than Nintendo as well. Nintendo more than likely asked politely to get a loan from one of them to make the hidden weekly gems on the Nintendo Switch Eshop potentially considering that it was definitely not there the last couple of times that I was browsing through the Nintendo Switch Eshop before. I honestly believe that they have another account with money loaded in that they would rather NOT be using for their business related activities as well. They are probably only choosing to preferably use it to make, manufacture and deliver the Nintendo Eshop gift cards to grocery stores.
I believe that I honestly found a statement by them that they were saying something roughly like wanting to make people benefit from playing their console who are unable to acquire money themselves to be able to play their games, as well keeping them occupied and interested in browsing their online services as well. Nintendo apparently already explained how to male their $50 Eshop gift card actually work as intended at self checkout kiosks in grocery stores on the same webpsge where they discuss the way the $50 Eshop gift card is the way it is as well. There is other ways to get them, but they either take a little while to build up the credit to get them; or takes someone who already has money to be able to actually get them as well. Nintendo probably likely said something very similar to what I said as well.
This looks like a potential masterpiece to me. The art style, the story, the gameplay... I really hope I won't get disappointed. Looking forward to this game release.
