Isn’t it crazy that I could’ve been listening to this when I was 6, and now, 18 years later, I’m 24 and still finding myself lost in it? Time flies, but some things, like the beauty of this song, stay with you. The soundtrack of life changes, but songs like this feel like they were always meant to be part of your journey.
Me also, here I am 10 years later, still thinking about her everyday, even though we both have families and kids and.. This song was one of first cures for my heart.
I decided to listen to a song I heard at a dance, it has a similar theme-Miracle by Cascada. After listening to that song I decided I wanted to see this video, remembering how amazing I thought it was the first time I saw it. There is no comparison. After listening to Okkervil River and real folk music I have yet to find pop music or whatever you'd like to call it attractive at all. When something like this is written, perfected lyrics and real, heartfelt singing you can't help but tear up.
wow, I'm a metalhead and I have to say that this song is raw. Raw in it's best form. No beating around the bush. Just straight up and honest. Says exactly what every guy is thinking when left by a loved one. Subtle attack but, not a low-blow.
I'll stay in the same comfy town, write the same old songs down, drive the same streets seek the same sense of dull peace singing sweet words to chimneys Same walk by the road where the same ugly snow's finally leaving but I'll fight off the spring, I don't want lovely things, I don't want the earth new
oh gosh this song rocks :3 , i love this live version instead of the recorded one , it's just that this one sounds more emotional ..yo guys can any of you tell me where to download this song but in this version? cuz i looked for it and i only find the recorded ver one.
technically, he's not using the past participle of to stand because he's not using a compound tense. you're right, though; stood is the past participle of stand.
I grow tired of this song, turn my eyes to the blonde in the bleachers she's a lovely young creature guess she's seeking adventure she's ready to see that the world ain't so sweet nor so tender I won't break her just bend her and make her into my new ringer for you
