i’m incredibly saddened to hear kelsey will be leaving local natives, he brought so much depth to local natives and made it part of what i loved the most about this band, the high pitch parts, i grew up with these guys and they helped me through so many troubling times in high school, i remember trying to match kelsey and his high pitched parts, i loved his song coins, i will incredibly miss you being a part of the band kelsey, im crying as i write this cause god they are what gave me my love for music ❤
Listening to this some 13 years later had me bawling. This recording is a gem.

Thousand times better than the recorded version.
This moment in time had such an impact on me. I had moved away to a city that was unfamiliar. I was nervous and trying to fit in. I was in college. During this time I met who I thought was going to be the love of my life. When I first met him, he showed me this video. I felt so deeply connected to it because of that moment. Years later, I still feel deeply for every second of this video. It didn't work out in the end, but every time I even slightly get reminded of this video/song I get chills. This video to me is a time capsule in a way. I don't think there will ever be a time, until the day I die, where I don't think about the moment I discovered this song/video and how beautiful this song is. I feel like we all have that one song or video that reminds of us a certain moment in time. Kind of the same way a smell can give us flashbacks to certain memories. Thank you to everyone involved in making this because it has impacted me in more ways than I can put into words, and to me that is art.
From 2011 to 2019, I have watched this video many, many times. It has brought me joy in the good times and in a tear in the bad times.

This may be the only group I've seen on these Take Away Shows that is able to develop a really "full" sound. They really make an effort to really develop their sound and I love it.

I can’t believe but can believe this small disc that was burned to me back in the day would have millions of views on RUclips. This band is such a gem.
This is how music should be experienced: you can't ignore it, but it doesn't get in the way. It's just there for a moment, and if you are so inclined to take a listen, you get everything you want out of it.

This video, I watch from time to time throughout the years, and I am reminded of the beauty in people and public spaces. The sounds and echoes underneath the arcades in Paris by American musicians transcends an architect's dream.

The way everything comes together so perfectly is amazing!
I love how this just shows that every instrument, every member of the band, plays an integral part to the song. Everything just layers together to make it complete. Without each member doing their part, it just wouldn't sound the same.

i had an audio rip of this on my ipod when i was in high school and i always hated listening to the beginning of it where they're all just shooting the shit and laughing it bothered me so much i thought they were probably assholes. now i see it and the annoying audio paired with the visual after these years is such a weird experience.
I cannot believe there were actual customers at this mall that kept on waking and didn't stop to listen. They must be passionless soulless individuals. It must suck to be them.

Also for some reason, the video editing does my head in; in that one long shot of them performing, how did the shot seamlessly go from behind Taylor to behind Matt?! And then it pans up and there's no one behind Taylor! whaaat.
Repeat, repeat, repeat. Totally agree with the other guys, the same people watch this over and over like myself. Oh well at least we can enjoy it as much a we want.
