I've used the 10-24 on an X-T3 for star trails before on moonless nights. The nice thing about shooting at F4 is that even though you don't get as many stars as at 2.8 you do get colorful star trails and not the usual white stars that you get at F2.8. Try F4 at 30 seconds, keep the ISO as low as possible (between 800-1600) and stack using Sequator or StarStax. You might need to do a longer exposure for the foreground.
