lol I have had the same 1080p 60hz TV since 2016 but I do want to get a setup for my series s so I can use full potential of 1440p 120 fps
The S won me over due to its travel size. My job has me moving from hotel to hotel for weeks at a time, and the S just works better as an all digital system. Don’t need to worry about game discs or anything

I got the series X, and then a few months later I traded in my iPad that never got used for a series S. I think I only payed like $10 out of pocket…. Totally worth having both. The series S is my travel and bedroom console. Series X is in my game room and never moves
Damn. Lucky, I only have the series x and when I travel on public transport I just haul it in my bag 🤣 and anything I need such as clothes I put that in another bag to carry

I bought the XSS because currently I don't have a 4k TV and buying an X is pointless to me. And also I am not a hardcore gamer just a person who enjoys gaming. So the S is more than enough to fit my needs and it is doing it vert well.
My brother and I were originally planning on buying a XBSX, but the whole "Series S runs 1440p and doesn't have good graphics" thing is only valid if you're playing on a monitor capable of producing that with a Series X. It doesn't really apply when you sit on a couch 6-10 feet away from your TV
I play on Regular tv, I have an original Xbox one will I notice any difference in graphics or performance between the s and x ? Hesitant in even getting one if the s is just going to look like an Xbox one

If you want insane graphics and insane frame rate, get the Series X.
Series S does everything the Series X does, it just doesn't have a disc drive and it's capped at 60 frames, 1440p (but on a 4K TV still looks great).
I got the Series S because I just want my games to run smoothly, load quickly, and I don't want a disc drive. I don't need the crazy power and insane visuals, as long as my games don't freeze.
My main game is Fallout 76, and oh my GOD what a quality of life upgrade it was going from One S to Series S. Night and day, very happy with my purchase

The portability of the series S is just top notch. Easy to move around if you're always out and about. It's also pretty decent in terms of specs. And if you do digital, cloud and gamepass, get the series S and you're gonna save some money..
I just got the series x bc it has better graphics, more than 200 gb of storage and it runs more smoother
@@W_bomb series s has 360gb of avaliable storage because the System software takes up some space from the ssd, but its not bad for someone like me who plays 2-3 games i can fit Warzone 2, GTA 5 next gen full game, and Fortnite and i still have 107gb left

On thing I've realized, the xbox ss comes with clearly not enough storage for many games, however to expand your storage with your own carriage it'd usually between 60-90 bucks, pushing it to the 400$ showing, for just a bit more you could get the sx
Just get the series X if you know you will storing alot of games, plus you will get higher resolution Textures, ray tracing in more games, the ability to play in 4K.

I got the Carbon Black Series S console about 2 weeks ago for my first ever gaming console and I gotta say it’s amazing that it runs games at 120 fps at 4K with no problem at all!

The Xbox Series S is enough for me because you can get it cheaper used off of Facebook marketplace. $200 or less is the standard used price off of Facebook right now. It's also cheaper than the Oculus Quest 2. Don't get me wrong. I love VR, but I also love console gaming. I have a whole downstairs movie theater setup for the console, and if I want to move the console upstairs, all I have to do is unplug, and it's light weight. Honestly, the only games I would play on it are Minecraft and Assassin's Creed.

well for 200e more u get 3x more stronger gpu,6gb more ram and 1tb storage so its more then worth it...i have series S and i have problems with storage...if i want buy more storage,i get almost on same price but with much slower console..

Tbh, the appeal of the series X is the 1tb of storage versus the 512gb of the s. Having had a the Xbox one , the extra built in storage is worth it in my humble opinion, but then again it's all about personal preference.

Better graphics like who cares. Truly we are moving towards a more minimalist future. I play 3 games and want good graphics not the best graphics. The series S is just so small and works perfect
The difference is barely noticeable, also the s does run 4k 120 at least in the Xbox settings, only difference is graphic fidelity, I've had the x, now I have the s on the same set up so I legit barely see a difference with what I've played.
I used to be so against the s but I hadn't tried it I was just being a x simp but now I've got it I don't need the x at all I've got a ps5 if I need to play that for anything, honestly the s is perfect

I have a series x, dont get either, xbox has almost no exclusive games and the one's they do have there going to start sellling them on Playstation, with that being said whats the point of xbox at that point. Playstation will have all games xbox will only have xbox games
Do yourself a favor and get the series x, dont matter if you dont have a 4k tv or monitor. You can still see the lack of good optimization on games on the series x and lots of games have fps issues. The worst thing is that you can see shit pop up right in front of you, get a series x and now is the perfect time because the only way to play old xbox games is via disc if you didnt bought it on the xbox live store

I would get the Series S, It has a better look other than black which we had the same concept for almost 2 DECADES. Also, XBSS has a smaller console, so it is better for children. The 3rd one is that XBSS is affordable, being 200+ USD.
Seems like a lot of people forget that if you have a good collection of physical games from the original Xbox all the way up to the Xbox One like I do you can put them in the disk drive of the X and a lot of times it will just give you the updated version for free, or at least play them with HDR and frame boost

Also, I have never heard a sound from my series s. I have had it for over 2 years. No fan noise or anything, not even a whisper. Never had any issues and runs the same since day 1.
