The first officer was pretty calm for the bullets you can hear wizzing by. That is a very scary sound you can feel them ripping through the air when they are close. I served in Iraq and know that sound well. I hit the ground the first time I had some rounds ripping though the air past my head. After awhile you know the insurgents can’t shoot for shit so just like the rockets if you hear them you are safe. They would hide behind a building and reach there rifle around the corner dump a mag then run away so by the time you hit the ground they are already gone. Kind of like what the Russians are doing.

There are certain times in life, where your brain processes out all possibilities, and you decide on a particular course of action... and you just... focus on doing that one thing. You literally will it into happening, and do not allow any other thing to divert you from the path you have decided on. Thats "the zone". Many top level competitors are familiar with it, be it sports, gaming, fighting, whatever... The Zone is the place to be. Its where magic happens.
This man was in The Zone. He'd already decided exactly how this encounter was going to go, so why bother rushing or worrying about incoming bullets? His mind had already decided what the end result was going to be. Thats the fucking juice, man.

First time through the video when he rolls up one handed and puts the cup on the dash...I think, "where the f is the cup holder?"

The real life movie cop! This bad ass cop literally showed up sipping on coffee and took out the bad guy with one freaking shot! The type of restraint along with calmness and the ability to give out directive just everything you expect out of law enforcement

His optic riser and sling are both from GBRS Group, a company doing some amazing things for law enforcement and prepared civilians. I'd recommend everyone check them out, he definitely has an advanced background because they just invented that style of riser.

Not when you have night vision, comms headset on it rises your head up to comfort like Unity Tactical riser while allowing ir laser and full c grip on short configuration

@@CWHolleman - Training will get you acquainted with your holdovers. No factor.
That said, if you're not running NODs you have no need for a laser, which means you should have plenty of rail space for whatever else you need to put on your rifle. Makes this particular riser less of a priority.

The first thing I noticed was the man had a proper respect for his coffee. He set down the cup, grabbed the rifle, took aim, and dropped the target as quick as he was on the scene. Hollywood couldn't do it better than this guy.

Pretty sure that's the GBRS group risen mount for his optic and laser. Possibly their sling too. This guy's calmness and competence, he's probably in a special unit and clearly is confident to make that kind of shot with a red dot while remaining super calm even almost seeming nonchalant. Impressive this guy.
