The other day I was shopping and someone just walked out of the store with a whole cart full of groceries, parked it around the corner of the store, and just sat there eating some of the stolen food. Cops were called, and they didn't even arrest him for theft. They just took the cart back to the store and left. My friend's car window was smashed and they caught the guy in the act. He had 13 prior property crimes on record. I just saw him about 2 weeks ago walking around down town a free man.

What this guy does is illegal in most states. I'm shocked this channel is claiming what he is doing is legally justifiable. Just approaching these guys with a firearm is a felony in most states and can be considered escalation of force, pointing it can be considered aggravated assault, and if he were to shoot them a court could conclude that he couldn't have been in fear of death or grave bodily harm because he approached them! it could be seen as instigating and you are therefore no longer justified. I'm not saying its right, but it is the law in most places.

Just this week, an elder was carjacked and dragged to her death. My heart is still breaking over this. Neighbors jumped in, the police and emergency services were not fast enough to assist. However, the neighbors did assist.
The police in Seattle are seriously underfunded. The politics of the city favored the criminals so you have to take matters into your own hands. I personally don't think it's amazing that when you cease to enforce laws many more people become thieves.

One time a guy broke in my neighbors window in the day again and we saw him casually walk out with a case of beer. I prevented myself from being robbed on the street at least 3 times, it made me distrusting of everyone and antisocial.

As a Welder I have seen many people come through the shop with missing Catalytic converters most of which live pay check to pay check and many elderly, one in specific bothers me cause the man told me he has to go without certain medications to afford the repair, many times we weld them on for free but the cost of the converters is very expensive. I just wanna say I had absolutely no problems with the bat breaking the windows, next time place some hits in the knee caps so I can see justice for all the victims of these thefts. thx
They got mine here (Seattle) . I thought my insurance covered it but it didn't so $2,500 out of pocket. I'm a self employed housepainter so that was a weeks worth of work at minimum . I'm healthy so I can make up for it , but like you said, that's devasting for some. I keep an axe handle ready now . Not sure what I'll actually do if i catch them next time, but I'm also not sure what I WON"T do. I've had too many things stolen at this point. I'm out of "compassion ".

Happened three times in two weeks because my window was broke and wouldn't roll up. I put raser blades super glued under my door handle. The next morning my door was open, battery was dead from the dome light 😂 but my stereo was there and there was a blood trail through the parking lot. My stereo was never messed with again 😂

Breaking the window helps the police identify the vehicle when they are leaving. Police are likely to stop a vehicle if all its windows are broken. it has value in crime prevention, not punitive.
