I guess that's a good active defense thing or whatever and I'm honestly too unbothered to have responded properly to threats in the past, I always just say other people's problems aren't worth your time or energy
Honking your horn and not knowing how to use your brakes correctly, started this interaction.
Yeah. If for some reason I decided to honk at someone for merely driving fast, I'd at least predict that they might brake check me back.
Then I'd turn onto another street to avoid them completely to avoid shit like this happening.

@@70Leongto Why make inconveniences for themselves when you can just dodge that incident peacefully?
I’m SO glad I gave up road rage at least 15 years ago. Prior to that I struggled to drive anywhere without getting pissed off.
Giving it up was so easy. If it’s my fault, I give a friendly wave of apology (seems to work every time), and if it’s someone else’s fault I just ignore it. I look back and think how immature I was in the past and now literally laugh at the immaturity of many drivers today.
If you think about it, almost every incident is unintentional. Ie it’s a mistake. An accident. Why get so upset over it. It’s not like you are perfect.
Oh, and to follow this up…I DO stay strapped. While I gave up road rage, this doesn’t mean I agree to become a victim. So you people who block others travel and jump out of your car, please be very, very careful. If someone were to forcibly block me in somewhere, and jump out of their car approaching me in a threatening manner…I’m letting my bullets spray. No questions asked. I go out of my way to avoid trouble with anyone…but not giving anyone a chance to physically harm me either.
If i have a firearm on me, i wouldn't be honking at cars like that regardless if i am in the right

In my CCW courses we were taught to never, under any circumstances let anyone know you're carrying and that it's for defensive purposes only. If it has to come out, its getting used before they realize you had a gun. And it only comes out if they threaten you with imminent bodily harm. No warnings.
That's more like a rule of thumb. I'd rather showcase my weapon than have to use it and take a life while getting attacked, jumped, stabbed, etc.
I be honest bro you got terrible advice.... You gonna end up shooting a killing someone that doesn't need to be shot and killed because you bait them into swinging on you

This is a good reason to trust our intuition. I bet this guy with the video was just waiting for this to happen. That’s why he had the video. I truly believe we have intuition and don’t even realize it sometimes
30 years OTR and over 3 million safe miles stopping for road rage is probably the dumbest thing you can do.
Just let people do what they want natural selection always works in you favor.
@ֆɨʍɨօռ ʊֆαȶօv̟ who said anything about speeding.
@ֆɨʍɨօռ ʊֆαȶօv̟ I didn't say anything about natural selection. If someone else has road rage against me I'm not gonna speed anywhere. That person fucks my car up I have GAP so no biggie.

If you have the option. Sometimes they find you. There are some crazy people driving.
What a useless friend, she basically incriminated her friend and made him appear like the aggressor while speaking to the cops with her choice of words.
Well he was. Why do they always show their guns?! He just could have stayed in his car until police arrived, and talked calm to the guy. I swear there is too much drama in America. And too many guns. They make their own problems with stupid decisions like this.
AgrestisAnima To make the aggressor back down are you stupid? And here you go ranting about “hur dur too many guns I scared”
@@meinenapkinen9167 Dude!! How can you be so right and wrong at the same time! Look at the news! How many people die in America because of guns?! Like all these deaths could be avoidable at least by NOT SHOWING a gun in a ROAD ACCIDENT! Or for the start by not being a alpha-chad and making a fuss about everything! This isn't just worth it to loosing your life about! This time nothing happened, but it happens way too often
@@AgrestisAnima Honestly you are right about not getting out of the car. But most importantly why the fuck did the guy in silver dodge honk at the guy in the black pickup that went past him. Like big deal he was going a bit faster than you wow. And not to mention he had 2 seconds to react to that brake check but he still hit him, in fact he hit him twice lmao because he is a bad driver. Honestly I get triggered by people driving under the limit not at people that go 10-20 over the limit and mind their own business.
He exposed his gun in order to protect himself when the aggressor approached him (watch the video again, the bigger man started approaching him exerting dominance and agression), and he responsibly pointed it down using it as a visual cue for the aggressor to back away. I've been in the same situation, it's completely justified to show your gun without pointing it when you feel threatened. The aggressor immediately moved back when he pulled out his carry.
I used to get mad. Today, if I express anything it's a sad shake of the head. Anger has its place, but that place is not behind the wheel.
I NEVER follow people if they being rude or aggressive.. If they are going where I am going I find an alternate route.
Yes, I conceal carry. I follow the 70/30 rule. I will go at least 70 percent of the way to avoid violence. I want to feel, no matter what, that I gave peace an honest chance.
He should NEVER have followed that guy into a parking lot.
If the guy had followed him? That's a little bit difference.
The guy in the truck turned into a crying 10 year old boy when he realized the brake check was on film, desperately trying to deflect blame and find a way to get out of the situation. People will do anything to avoid punishment for things they thought nobody would find out about.
Are we all going to ignore the fact that she's cheating on her husband?
how do you know?
Hahaha
Yeah I was wondering why she said 'my friend...' and not 'my husband' on the 911 call
*pulls out meat scepter*
Didn’t she say her husband works with the sheriffs office on the phone?
Your first line of defense is situational awareness and common sense. Your second line of defense is humility.
The firearm is your LAST line of defense. It’s only for situations you can’t avoid with common sense and humility.
The gun is for defending your life, not your ego.
The guy didn't draw his gun until he was physically threatened.
That man in the video did the right thing
I disagree. You are parroting social media.
Sullivan Marsh The man from the truck is a complete pussy. He was the one who started the aggression but when he got out of his shield and was exposed to the other guy , he suddenly felt his life was in danger . It’s like common ! You asked for this! Such a coward.
@@MrJamberee I don't believe he did the best ever, but understandable people drive like assholes and he's going to get into a wreck. Then he break checked the guy, that's a fat dick move right there. @@lazurm Thank you. its going on my car's next birthday gift. And its a lot more practical than those girlie eyelashes that go around the headlights. Anytime I see a car on the road with those eyelashes, I move out of their lane. I can only imagine the driver trying to steer and drive with her knee while she's applying makeup using her visor's vanity mirror. Silly distractions like that are what gives all us girls a bad driving reputation stereotype and I hate those drivers for it-- Almost as much as I hate the drivers who are constantly texting while driving. So dangerous and the cause of MANY accidents..
I work for a personal injury firm. We've had a couple cases where people were in car accidents while riding with people they were cheating with. I'm sure that was fun to explain to their spouses.
Can I get your info I have a case I want to see if you can handle
@@quarterkeydre4392 sorry I don't want to give out my info on a public website. Do NOT wait until the statute of limitations has run out. I would recommend finding an attorney by looking at reviews online and calling to get a feel for the firm. You definitely want to find a place that wants to keep the insurance companies from screwing you over. There are legit law firms that care about more than just for the money.
Most of time, if you have been injured in a wreck that was not your fault, the attorney will not get paid unless they win your case. Outside of certain other case types, the firm I work for does not charge anything up front or an hourly rate . Let me know how it goes.
I don't think I'd handle myself like this to begin with but stuff like this is why I run forward and rear facing cameras on all my vehicles. Even just the brake check thing can really mess your life up. If they brake check you and lie about it then it's your word against theirs. Me being a young dude in a sports car, I don't expect the police to just take my word for it. But that's what the cameras are for. The footage turns a possible accident going on your record into something like reckless driving for the other person
I don't look for trouble, but if trouble finds me, I don't shrink. Probably no cameras in that parking lot, so if the cops find a dead guy by his truck a few hours later, I don't have to answer any questions. It's a different story if there are witnesses or likely surveillance cameras, but if not, dead men tell no tales.
Well that's nice of her to hang out with her guy friend while hubby was at work.
MoneyRoth smh
If there is a female around they often tend to escalate the situation by screaming or by just annoy everybody even more
Michel or by running into him when he brakes...she could have stopped!
Fishing In The City isnt the guy the driver?
Marcelo Manteuffel thats why you dont want a screaming girl right next to you
Fishing In The City the guy was driving. And a charger so basically an American pos with no brakes
Yeah ur right,,,my bad
in 40 years of driving no one has EVER brake checked me, because if you maintain distance, and they brake way far ahead of you, it's not a brake check. Don't tail gate, predict a cut off, and stay back.
If you rear ended another driver TWICE you are following too close. To try and draw a firearm over it is beyond ridiculous.
Can you do a follow up on this. I'm sure everyone wants to know the outcome between this woman and her husband
Double homicide/suicide

Yeah....it was definitely a break check, but not a bad one. Michael had pleeeeenty of time and space to break. And just keep driving, and then call 911 to report the possible buzzed driver. Instead he chose to hit the truck.
They definitely aren't completely sober. Not hammered but not sober. The dude in the truck was hammered alcohol usually looks like this in shitty areas of downtowns lol
@@DW133_ Yeah that would feel a bit like a head on collision 😂
To me it looks like he actually eased off the brakes to hit the black truck. This is not what a normal stop would look like, even at a red light or something like that.
Maybe he had a small dent or something and wanted to get it fixed for free lol
Without the dash cam that guy would have said he was driving and minding his own business. Honked at. Rear ended twice. Followed into a parking lot. Then had a gun pulled on him. All of which are TECHNICALLY true but he instigated. Cut off. Break checked twice. Popped out of the truck and went after the cammer. Wow glad he didn’t have to shoot the guy.

I usually honk at drivers when they aggress on me or take my turn.
After seeing the whole drama here I will just drive defensively and let every fool be.
Even if I have the dashcam recording I will still lose a lot of time talking to insurance and crap, parts are also taking very long to arrive nowadays.
4:41 Ahh yes, there it is, the source of the 'courage', the getting out of the car and the willful engagement in this entire situation. Pretty sure this guy wouldn't have done any of this, including the horn honk, if he didn't have the firearm with him. If you won't do something when you don't have a firearm with you, you shouldn't do it when you do have a firearm with you. It just shows that you're looking for a reason to use your firearm to get you out of a jam that you wouldn't be in if you didn't have it with you. That is the type of person who should _not_ have a firearm.
Don't get out of the car. And especially, don't tell him you have a dashcam. Let him tell his lies to the police, don't give him time to make up a story.
Notice how idiot went from taunting about damage and fault to trying to shift blame and aggression.
I have been road raged twice where the driver got out of his car and approached me on foot in a threatening manner. Both times I told the other person that I had the whole thing on dash cam and they immediately backed off. In the first case I was hit on the freeway and it turned from "he said vs. he said" to "clearly his fault".
Tough guy starts apologizing when he knows the victim doesn't buy his bluffing and has a tool to defend himself, I wonder how often this happens in the real world? lol

Most of the time the response is a fast retreat from the scene. But there's the occasional one that wants to push his luck. Usually it involves the phrase..."What you gonna do? Shoot me?" Yep! Shot goes off. Tough guy suddenly becomes quieter with big look of shock & surprise then says "You shot me!!". Its really hard to feel sorry for a lot of people.
