I’ve tried several different crab cake recipes. Some didn’t quite cut it and others were downright disappointing. I made these tonight and they were fantastic! I now have my keeper go to crab cake recipe. This time I used imitation crab and regular paprika (not a fan of smoked paprika) and I air fried them. Thank you!!
I'm from Maryland and Old Bay is a Maryland season we put on our Blue shell crabs from the Chesapeake Bay. It's always cooked with Crabs, Crab cakes, any type of seafood !! It makes it taste absolutely delicious 😋

Yes! Made these crab cakes for dinner and honey everybody life has changed for the GOOD!!!!! Lol The only thing is I didn’t have Cajun seasoning, so I substituted with creole seasoning and pop those babies in the air fryer on 400 for 10 min. NY temp is like 95. Nobody have time for an oven. I learn something about my salmon cakes by watching you make the crabcakes. Someone showed me how to make salmon cakes. They use breadcrumbs. I made some but wasn't sure how much bread crumbs to put in them. I notice you saying with the crabcakes you only need enough breadcrumbs to hold it together 🤔. I am figuring it should have been the same with my salmon cakes. I put a little to much breadcrumbs. They were ok but it did take away some of the salmon taste as you said it would with the crab. So not only have I learn how to make crabcakes but how to make better salmon cakes lol.

I drove 28 miles to get the Culinary Reserve lump crab at Shop Rite. Wasn't going to use any substitute! Hold on while I take my four lump pads out of the oven. Girl!!! Slap my mama AND my daddy!! Worth the drive and glad I picked up three cans at the store! Thank you Miss Tammy for one of my Thanksgiving extra sides!!❤❤

Oh my goodness, these were the absolute BEST crab cakes ever! Made them last night and it's the only way I will ever make them. thank you Ms. Tammy (~_~)
Please use parchment paper instead of wax paper. wax paper is absolutely not heat resistant. At high temperatures, it will melt and the paper itself can catch fire, so you want to always, always, always avoid using wax paper in high-heat situations. parchment paper is heat resistant and won’t catch on fire. It comes in roll or sheet form. A silicone baking sheet is also a good choice. It is also heat resistant. It can be wash, dried and reuse.

Tammy i just made this yesterday. The crab cake and the sauce came out awesome. I just got get the oven temperature down pack. Since it was my time making this i cook it in a oven at 350° cooked a little longer. But fabulous and easy recipe to follow. Once again. Thank you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years Tammy.

Try butter crackers or cheez it instead of bread crumbs, just crush them up good. Cook with butter or oil. I mix butter n oil. They come out so good
