The St is beautiful, a fantastic daily driver but will be a money pit if you want it competitive. Needs pistons (top ringland is weak af) needs LSD, needs aux fuel setup if you don't want to run ethanol blend fuel. Gets fuel pressure via camgesr so it'll never get enough fuel at low rpm without more injectors.. Those mods are like 10k right there. I'm not putting 10k into a 20k Ford lol. I traded mine in on a f150 in 2021 and they gave me 15k for it with 75k miles. I dunno what they sold it for but it was sold and gone in 3 days. Miss the car but the way Ford designed it, they didn't want people to cheaply make power with it. They could have. And the interior squeaked like a mfer.
Toyota Celica GT-S 00'-05' Extremely reliable and fun. Does 160. Just bought one last month as a daily, the speedometer is hilarious because it barely moves going legal speeds.
The higher the top speed, the better it handles at highway speeds. If your car can go 200, then 70 will be a comfortable cruise. If your car's top speed is 110, then 70 is gonna be noisy and just not fun. That being said, my 96 Buick Roadmaster sedan has a 120 mph speedometer. I've had it over 100 on the highway and it wasn't even trying. I love my land yacht
My buddy found me a 05' Lincoln LS V8 for 3k since my fiance and I needed a second car for the kids. Driving home from Vegas on the 93, I was doing a buck 50 without knowing it. I immediately engaged the cruise control.
A Saturn Ion Redline ordered with GM's "Stage1" performance upgrade would hit 150, since bone stock they could already get to 145 (as tested by C&D). A factory Stage 2 would get you good and over 150. This was also available for the Cobalt SS to get similar performance numbers out of it as well. I've seen Ion Redlines as low as $3000 and these days you can simply buy the Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits to install yourself. There's also the Volvo 850 T5R and 850R. Both will get you to 155 but will set you back at least $10k I did notice a lack of roadsters outside of the Boxter, so the Mercedes Benz R129 SL500 roadster fits the bill. I've seen them for as low as $3000 with mechanical issues to $10k and beyond in relatively good shape.
The highest I pushed my 93 Acura Integra was about 121 mph...I don't know if it'll go faster but I didn't want to push it further. Faster little car she is.
You're mixing things up with the 300ZX headlights. They were not from the Diablo, it's the other way round. Lamborghini had to use the headlights from the 300ZX when they could no longer use pop up headlights for the Diablo. Nissan had their name on the headlights, so Lamborghini had to use carbon fibre to cover it.
I did it too in my 99 C230k (155mph) before the whole thing started shaking and scared the shit out of me lol...love my Benz and still haven't had to replace anything expensive

My uncle has a bmw m5 e60 3.0l twin sequential turbo diesel with an ecu tune pushing 340 hp and 700 nm of torque and got a top speed of 260 km/h (or 161 mph)
The Lexus GS400/430 or even the GS300 with the Supra's famous 2JZ is the best most depndable option either that or the nissan z or G35/37 infinit is what I'd choose
I luckily got an E60 550i for just under 10k a few years ago, and holy cow… I haven’t had many issues, the ones I have had, if you are smart about where you go or who you have do it (yourself, granted it’s simple enough) it’s really not too terrible nowadays. 370 HP, 370 TQ V8 that just always has more to give. Plus he’s not kidding about the bmw suspension being so smooth at high speeds. Feels like the car just wants to go fast 😂
My 1998 Volkswagen VR6 Mark 3 Jetta, full interior and custom stereo. With an off-road chip, LW pulley, Tdi 5th, full 2.5" exhaust hit 155mph all day every day til my Mark 4 1.8t replaced it.
Another sub-$10k monster is the 470 hp Jaguar XF Supercharged (specifically the 2010-2012 models before they went to the V6). I may be biased because my daily is a 510 hp Jaguar XFR (which isn't under$10k), but the Supercharged is the same basic engine and can easily be turned to be more powerful than a stock XFR). True sleeper.
As a focus ST owner. Intake exhaust and stage 1 tune only brought me up to 153mph full out over about 1.5 miles of highway. I doubt a stock example could reach 155 unless you’re on a wheel dyno 🤷♂️
I had a 1998 Seville STS. If you got the Z rated option they supposedly would do 155 mph. Mine didn't. But, it would hit 130 no problem. And cruise over 100mph on the highway like a dream..drove that baby from San Diego to Florida 3 times. Absolutely demolished the open road to Texas. It was glorious.
Open road in Texas??? Not anymore, except for West Texas. This great state has been ruined by economic refugees from other states and nations… too many people on our roadways.
My goal is to go somewhere between 240 to 250 km/h(149 to 152 mph). Our fastest vehicles are limited to 210 km/h(130 mph) so that is my top speed. Just driving in the 100 to 110 mph for a decent amount of time can be fun although. I have hit 100+ mph in the last 4 or 5 years than my entire driving career of over 25 years.
I will pick the C5 instead of those subaru wrx, I am a BIG fan of subaru back in 20 years ago, and all 5 subaru(s) in my whole family get a new head gasket once at least.
I love how half the cars on this list wouldn't survive track day more than a few times. The only vehicles I would actually own are the Corvette, Cayenne, 350Z, G35/G37, and the GS400. I love the Fairlady Z, but could never own one due to the engine bay size. Maybe if I had an NA. The Camarro also used to be a pick of mine until I opened the hood on one. Half the engine is behind the windshield. NOPE. The HHR, Caliber, and the 535i are all rolling piles of trash IMO. The WRX is a great after an engine swap. I won't waste time on that boxer engine. I don't know enough about the other models. Good list overall.
I own a 2014 c63 amg 507 edition which is 90% of a c63 black edition. 2003 e39 m sport (daily driver) 1974 datsun 260z 1jzgte swap (one of my dream cars) 1984 rx7 gslse (track day car, widebody, gutted out, ported 13b rotary) Those are some of my cars....
the 6 series Gran coupe deserves some love....a bit expensive..yeah..but it will hit it while looking stunning ....I'll take it over the e60 5 series though
Daimler/Chrysler/Benz entire LX platform is dirt cheap at times to acquire. The E class Benz depreciates the fastest, and has more in common with a modern car than people care to admit (referring to the degree of difficulty to diagnose/repair & the electrical-system complexity). Less than 5k all day long for the Benz variant, every bit as comfortable as a modern car. For anyone eyeballing a 300
I'll take whatever is free on the list! LOOOL! Did 140 in a VW Corrado G60 one night back in my college days. Also did 130+ in my Acura vigor. All possible with simple mods. But the car I like is not on the list, hard to find. Acura TL SH-AWD 6 speed stick. The other one is the Lexus RC350 which is not hard to find. Both are higher than this price range
I'll summarize this list for y'all. Pretty much everything is $9999 for a crap broken one. More accurate title would be under 15k. Cus get this, when I hear under 10k, I expect a decent one for 8k

My dream car was the 2011 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor! I had it for 3 months before it got hit buy a distracted driver and totaled it. Now my back's messed up even worse and it hurts to drive. It was my dream to become one of the best racing drivers in the world as I already showed great skill at a young age. Now my dreams are nightmares and I suffer from life. I'm stuck driving a vehicle out of necessity of comfort and not something I wanted. I had my dream car and lost it, I was using it for Courier work as with my bad back it was the only thing I could do to make money and stay behind the wheel.... but after that crash, I lost my job, my car and my ability to drive for work anymore.... I feel like I'm dead inside. I'm bitter and cold because I'm getting to suffer while others are living my dream without even working for it, they were born into money and had everything given to them. That's why you don't see as many highly skilled drivers as you should! All the skills in the world are useless unless you have lots of money! Try telling me it isn't true! You can't!

My buddy found me a 05' Lincoln LS V8 for 3k since my fiance and I needed a second car for the kids. Driving home from Vegas on the 93, I was doing a buck 50 without knowing it. I immediately engaged the cruise control.
I think almost all turbo Saabs can go 150mph and you can get them super cheap.
Both will get you to 155 but will set you back at least $10k
I did notice a lack of roadsters outside of the Boxter, so the Mercedes Benz R129 SL500 roadster fits the bill. I've seen them for as low as $3000 with mechanical issues to $10k and beyond in relatively good shape.
I currently own an '04 V70R. Owned two Hyundai Genesis Coupes before I got the Volvo. Wrecked a 3.8 model and bought a 2.0T model afterwards.
I've done 135mph in my 2000 Honda Prelude. Feels so planted at all speeds
finally, a list that isn't 90k for some old fast car. Thanks. Need a hooptie
Forgot the Mercedes S class from early 2000’s you can find those cheap and if turbo charged can produce somewhere around 650 horsepower
And with the V70 R you just gotta love the headlight wipers.
The highest I pushed my 93 Acura Integra was about 121 mph...I don't know if it'll go faster but I didn't want to push it further. Faster little car she is.
My 94 Integra RS sedan topped out about 120-125. It was an excellent car that took tons of abuse.
First time I went over in 100 was in my Acura Integra LS VTEC, racing a 94 toyota Celica. Great car
I love this kind of video cheap cars
My mazdaspeed3 went over 150mph. Bolt-ons, tune, stock turbo!!!!
I miss it!!!!
My Mazdaspeed6 easily hits 155...been there doing that still...love it!!!!
Did 118 in my Mercedes C class - 350 - petrol w204 v6 - easily go to 155 where it was limited to.
I did it too in my 99 C230k (155mph) before the whole thing started shaking and scared the shit out of me lol...love my Benz and still haven't had to replace anything expensive
@@shuruff904 had to replace my benz - had a oil leak that from the oil filter housing, down the block that went into my wiring loom - so the car had to go - miss my merc
80k miles at purchase 😁
My 1998 Volkswagen VR6 Mark 3 Jetta, full interior and custom stereo. With an off-road chip, LW pulley, Tdi 5th, full 2.5" exhaust hit 155mph all day every day til my Mark 4 1.8t replaced it.
I watched it all and it is best vid
Another sub-$10k monster is the 470 hp Jaguar XF Supercharged (specifically the 2010-2012 models before they went to the V6).
I may be biased because my daily is a 510 hp Jaguar XFR (which isn't under$10k), but the Supercharged is the same basic engine and can easily be turned to be more powerful than a stock XFR). True sleeper.
I got an infiniti g35 sedan and I can say that they are fast as F
As a focus ST owner. Intake exhaust and stage 1 tune only brought me up to 153mph full out over about 1.5 miles of highway. I doubt a stock example could reach 155 unless you’re on a wheel dyno 🤷♂️
damn i watch this twice. great video
@@LuckyCharms777 Yeah this was back in 2004-2005. Haven't been through since then.

Yeah, and we don’t have rush “hour” anymore, now it’s rush “hourS”. It sucks. 😭
They may be cheap until you have to take them at your mechanic. That is the moment you realize they ain't cheap at all lol
Forgot a 2003-2008 Maserati Quattroporte you can find running examples of these for under 10K with a top speed of (171 mph)
i live in Australia and i am always blown away by how cheap you can get these sorts of cars. we tend to pay Australia tax as we call it. lol.
Most people don’t give a damn about track day and want street performance. Most people don’t have a track nearby. Clown.
Neon srt4 are great budget choice love those cars
I like them but I seen a lot with 3rd gear grind
Love the content 👍
first gen cts's are pretty good too not quite 150 but like 147 close enough
3:15 i made it a sleeper good car in my opinion.
Can you do most reliable German luxury cars
hey brad another awesome video as always...can u do a video on caravans and vans??
I own a 2014 c63 amg 507 edition which is 90% of a c63 black edition.
2003 e39 m sport (daily driver)
1974 datsun 260z 1jzgte swap (one of my dream cars)
1984 rx7 gslse (track day car, widebody, gutted out, ported 13b rotary)
Those are some of my cars....
I recommend the 350z. They are reliable and fun and cheap
On the Boxter, are you speaking on the S variant? Because the nonvariant is a slead.
with tunning and a Fabspeed exhaust a bas Boxster can exceed 150mph
@@PorschePrestige987 But that wasn't my question.
now i dont know about yall but something looks a little off with that Hyundai 8:44
the 6 series Gran coupe deserves some love....a bit expensive..yeah..but it will hit it while looking stunning ....I'll take it over the e60 5 series though
The 2020 Mustang GT gets to its top speed pretty damn quick!!
The Hyundai Genesis that should have made this list is the 2012 429 hp, 5.0 liter V8 R spec sedan. But still a very good list for sure.
buy a $500 4th gen Camaro, get $200 junkyard LS, cam and springs, Ebay turbo, go 250mph on less than $3000
Daimler/Chrysler/Benz entire LX platform is dirt cheap at times to acquire.
The E class Benz depreciates the fastest, and has more in common with a modern car than people care to admit (referring to the degree of difficulty to diagnose/repair & the electrical-system complexity).
Less than 5k all day long for the Benz variant, every bit as comfortable as a modern car.
For anyone eyeballing a 300
1995 mustang GT was in it doing 155 and it still had more to go before letting off the gas about 20 years ago
Dang they were faster than the Cobra then cause they would only do 140 with 240hp🤔🤔. The GT was only like 210hp
Tell you a funny story i out ran a 96 Gt in 1/8 with a 2008 Altima 2.5L four cylinder with 190hp
Can confirm, stock bk2 genesis coupes with the v6 will do 150+. And i love mine
In the early 2000s I owned a 1995 dark cherry metallic impala SS. I would still have it to this day if it weren’t for an ice storm in Illinois in 2004
I hit 125 mph in my 2013 Subaru Legacy Yesterday
I'll summarize this list for y'all. Pretty much everything is $9999 for a crap broken one. More accurate title would be under 15k. Cus get this, when I hear under 10k, I expect a decent one for 8k
Dm ☝️For 🎁
I live in Australia and i have a vw passat 3.2 v6 i hit 255kmh on it it was apparently good that 158 i think mph
I choose Vw/audi, few bolt ons and stage 2 tune.
you ain't wrong that Mercedes-Benz was pretty fire but put that catfish was pretty good
Brad. Please rank all the bmw 3 series from best to worst in your opinion.
I have a genesis coupe and it’s really fun to drive, would love to upgrade eventually though.
I Drive the Volvo S60 (bin R) with the 2.4L I5.
And I choose the non R for a good reason:
The R has the fancy Suspension sich Sets you Back 500 quit when you have ti replace it. In the non r 100 quit.
And the AWD System hat a pretty Bad gearbox.
And the R is nearly Double the Price.
So if you want some fun and Sound in a Car, but you Dont want to have to repair you Car All the time Go with the 2.4 170 Hp, the 2.0T 180 HP or the T5 with 250 hp
Brad Danger is the coolest ! When will we see more of the R8
prices for used cars are about to drop like a rock soon...so I'd recommend yall wait a little while before buying.
could you guys do a video on the 2005 subaru legacy GT wagon i wanna buy one wanna hear from the pros 😊
Ford focus stv transmission: HAHAHAHAHA I'M GONA BRAKE AT 500k HAHAHAHAHAHA 💀💀💀
Omggg I was wishing that gs400 will be here and I was soo shocked when I saw the Gs on the list 😭💙
I got my Hemi 300 for barely over $1000 lol best deal of my life, currently considering a Amg Benz for $8k
Been at 150with my rx8 a couple times might need a stretch to hit it through.also no Mazdaspeeds in the list?
2006 to 2010 Sonata 3.3 v6 tops 152 mph. Look up V33 Sonata on youtube. 0 to 60 mph 6.2 seconds for my 2009 ,249 hp 3.3 v6 stock 14.79 quarter mile at 98.8 mph. 9.6 eighth mile at 79 mph stock with Goodyear Eagle tires great sleepers hung door handle to door handle against my co workers 2007 impala SS V8 up to 80 mph! And beaten lots of Hemi rams and V8 trucks
Any year Hyundai Azera tops 150 mph too. Damn sneaky quick cars if u really stand on it. Cops aren't looking for a 4 door granny hyundai
I'll take a C4 corvette.
You can't!
Shout out for mentioning Dave mirra
350z was my first car. has been my daily since i got my license. fastest i have went was 135, though i will say i imagine it has no issue getting to 150.
Finding one in good condition for 9,999 good like I got 2007 convertible flawless condition from Nissan dealer one owner older lady garage keep look like she never drove or sat in 67,000 miles they wanted 15,200 I got it for 13,600 value are going up on them
My 98 Buick LaSabre isn't quite a 150 mph but it tops out at 147
Wasn't sure you got the Focus state side seen as it's so small!
