Look at the b5 rs4 and e46 m3. Those are from the same time as the supra and r34 and the e46 m3 has 338 hp from an n/a l6 and the rs4 has 380hp from an twin turbo v6 and the rs4 has a huge tuning potential too.

Out of your choices, the R8 is probably your best bet. From what I've seen it's more than fair to use as a semi-daily, more reliable, more parts available then the Italians, Plus you're a Porsche guy, so you should feel right at home.

1_ you get a slightly more reliable car
2_ you got a proper super car nobody is going to question that.
3_ performance is really really good.
4_ you can find them under 70k
5_ you can always add some turbos.

What about the r35? That’s a pretty good choice, you can make it a sleeper plus they are pretty affordable for a supercar
Depends on trim. The normal one isn't really considered a supercar, but rather in the highest tier of sports cars. The nismo is considered a supercar

@@madhavmenon9794 nismo is kinda expensive(around the price of a 360 I think), if you get the base model (my fav is the 2008) you can tune it to the moon, if you get the nismo you can’t really do that since they have tuned the car so much with factory parts it will be pretty tough to get more power, you will have to detune, the car and change parts which will be more expensive, 10K extra with nismo, 10-20 k on new parts and tuning I’m not sure so approx is 25 k more, when you can get a normal base R35 and probably get 2 instead of 1 supercar so the base is more ideal

If we're talking 100k supercar, the FF and 599 are pretty nice options for Ferraris (I'm not sure if the price fluctuated or not but last time I checked they were both around 100k/110k)

@@tonioriginal3215 ...the V10 R8 is indeed a Gallardo clone.....the v8 R8 can be had about 40k cheaper then both of them and with half of the savings it'll mop the floor with them and leave money for a nice used Boxter S for the sunny days!

The hellcat is a brick that looses in drag racing vs teslas and the r8 is a Gallardo with a different look ngl, i would go to for the Ferrari because it's one of the biggest superar manufacturers

I'd vote for Dodge Viper (Gen 3.) and not only modify the hell out of that sucker but maybe put a nice functional widebody kit resembling like one of Gen 3 Viper race cars.

The Lamborghini has a flat plane crank shaft and the Viper has a cross plane. That's why they sound like they do. The firing order due to the crank style makes the sound different.

My top pick would be a Mustang GT500, preferably one with the carbon fiber wheels, get Hennessey to tune that bad boy and you have a car that makes as much power as a Dodge Demon with a bunch less weight
What about a new Corvette? Maybe before this new model came out they weren't classified as super cars but this new model damn sure is! Now I HATE Corvette's with a passion but this new one has really caught my attention big time! I'm not sure about the price but if it's in your range I think you should get a Vette!
There's a REASON these cars are so cheap.
The viper's V 10 came out of a truck! they only went to Lambo for help casting the engine in Aluminum as opposed to Steel. Also a big reason why it sounds (and performs) wayyy different than lambo.

tbh gallardo would be the best pick, you get the lambo flex you can easily get the interior changed if you dont like it, its gated manual, only bad thing with it is with the view because theres alot of blindspots with a gallardo

Brad and Squidward, I voted for the Audi A8 of course, but I think you should look into some more modern supercars with Hybrid-electric powertrains as well as full EV. The Polestar 1 and the BMW I8 are worth a very close look. (The polestar is a real beauty) We can't fast forward 1 or 2 years so the full-electric Tesla Roadster and Maserati MC12 aren't available yet....it's a tough year that we are in...all of the best cars aren't out yet...A Lucid Air would be fly AF as well....no can't do a Tesla Model S plaid...they won't sell you parts for that thing. Honestly, if you must go ICE, then just buy a brand new C8 vette...It IS a supercar and will blow the doors off of most anything out there for cheap. I love manuals too and drove them for decades, but they are going the way of the dinosaur. BIG FAT NO on the Hellcat...not a supercar.
I always wanted a fully custom carbonfiber 1980's Detomaso Pantera GT5 in yellow, silver, black or mix over of all three of those colors. They are cheap if you know where to look. I also always wanted 1990 Lotus Esprit in Silver with a twincharged Falconer V12 and short link shifter.
John Ross of "WatchJRGo" is going to sell his Heffner twin turbo R8 for the money you guys are talking about. At least you would have a famous and unique Audi.

The Audi R8 would be my pick reasons why it’s a little bit more newer than the earlier model of the Lamborghini Gallardo and your getting a little bit better version of that V10 plus a little extra power, the only thing about the R8 that the Lamborghini has over the R8 is that it has the front end left to clear driveways.
I think the Viper is a little different from the rest of the super cars. Not seen on streets often in my area. Go Viper...

I think that the r8 is a better first supercar to own, but the viper which i voted for, i think it would be more unique to the channel (since a lot of car related youtubers have had a r8 or a gallardo).
you should buy a gallardo LP570-4! WITH the colour green and TT it to 2000hp

5th gen vipers are far better then the previous generations. I love the Lamborghini lineup but if I had to choose between the Gallardo and the 5th gen viper. It would be viper for me.
Nothing against the "Squid" the Hellcat and the Demon are really nice cars. However, the thing about a "Supercar" is that it has a balance of doing all things well. The 3 from Dodge if I include the Viper are definitely fast, they have the horsepower, but they are only really good in a straight line. If you look at the "Lambo", Ferrari, or Audi they are all fast, have the horsepower, can run 1/4 mile, AND are also good with cornering so they do better on a track. Personally the one that I would get would be the Audi R8 with the manual. If you could find a way to get it with the V-10 though that would really be the way to go.
