+Leopoldo Donato That's what I thought when I watched a previous concert before I went to the one in London, But I realised what everyone was doing was actually wait for it to get into the main theme because the intro was beautiful. Trust me, I know dragon roost from a mile off, and I found myself waiting for the main part to kick in.
I was at this concert and i honestly think the cheering makes it all that much better! Hearing the enthusiasm for a game and its music makes me even happier listening to this. And hell i was one of the many people cheering so xD
+Matt Hemstock Same! Going in I was worried about it, But I left realising how much better the cheering made it, And I realised it's uncontrollable to cheer if you are a true fan. It's letting out emotion
i saw the symphony performed at san francisco last night - it was magical; i was a sobbing wreck the entire time. i can't find the words to describe it... it was a nearly spiritual experience. (everyone was much more quiet and well-behaved than the folks in this audience - there were cheering and thunderous applause, but only between pieces). thank you for recording and uploading this, and allowing me to relive one of the best nights of my life over and over.
+tiffany aching To be honest, When I went to the concert above (London) I was worried about the cheering between songs, But trust me, I instantly forgot that worry when it started. It added so much. It made the crowd very intimate and I could still hear the music, And it was an amazing way to let out emotion by roaring and cheering. THat's what we were doing. It was like we were marching into battle!
+Clark Kent If you ever get the chance, go to it live. Check their site for the concert locations. They add more every so often. It's an unforgettable experience
Thank you for posting this!! When I first performed this in October 2015 in Salt Lake City, I was like... Oh dang... It's been a while since I've actually played any of the Zelda's. This was a huge asset to my colleagues and I. I am happy to be performing this again in December!! Such a fun program, and exciting brilliant music!!!
fyi: from 27:44 to 30:00, pretty sure that's all the Lorule Castle theme. it's a pretty long song on the soundtrack. Thank you for making this recording, I had no chance of being able to see it this year and was happy to find a good quality recording of it on RUclips.
i was in paris' concert just a few days ago, it's really an experience that can hardly be put to words or in a youtube video...still, an amazing upload!
I went to this one and also the one in October at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Have to say I enjoyed the one in Manchester more purely because the venue was much smaller and had way better acoustics as a classical hall, plus i was in middle seats too. However both orchestras were AMAZING
+Ivysword2001 The idiot producer said at the start 'this is no ordinary symphony so be as loud as you want'. BUT I'M TRYING TO RECORD HERE! >:( ah well, can't blame them for being enthusiastic, but he didn't need to encourage them.
Kant Predict Is it allowed to film i mean is there no copyright or so. On the website it sais "ALL ASSOCIATED TRADEMARKS ARE OWNED AND USED UNDER LICENSE FROM NINTENDO."
I don't know. But my last video from May 2013 is still up, as are countless others; it seems that if there _is_ any copyright issue, Nintendo aren't following up on it, which i congratulate them.for. After all, it's not as though they seem to be releasing a dvd/BluRay any time soon.
UltraTien yeah, was that the Vegas show? I heard they bussed in musicians from out of town due to licensing and fee issues with the local management. Would that be the best show to release? I'm not sure
Yes, they used the same people and conductor from quite a few of the other shows, just going off the venue and the performance it was probably one of the best. Assuming they don't use too many crowd shots that is, people were not dressed for the occasion.
I went to the Symphony of the Goddesses Master Quest in Montreal, Canada. The audience couldn't stop clapping because they really liked it. It was amazing. Best experience in my entire life so far !
This crowd was excited! Way too excited. I understand their enthusiasm but I was trying to hear the softer parts. I attended the concert in Atlanta and only one time the crowd cheered during a movement. I personally didn't like that the production team changed the videos in the movements, especially Twilight Princess. I think they were trying to keep the videos spoiler-free this time around. Thanks so much for posting this! I was searching for this for weeks, hoping someone would post the show. Thanks for helping me relive one of the greatest shows I ever attended.
I'm so glad it seems like they're adding songs. I've watched the entire symphonies before and this is the first I've heard the OoT miniboss theme or Song of Healing
i cant wait till tomorrow night here in NYC they will be performing!!! ive watched this like 3o0 times and i still dont think it will compare to seeing this live tomorrow night!!!!
Thank you for recording this!!!! I saw it last month and I seriously miss it. Although at our show the audience wasn't that loud, only cheering for some parts (mostly for majora's mask and alttp, but it was tolerable). The quality is really good here!!
Thank you for this video!!!!!! Since Saturday I was looking for a piece I didn't recognize in the concert but thanks to your description I found it :) is LttP ending credits and now is one of my favorite pieces.
+Andreina Gomez I know right? Have you played Link's Awakening? It's actually a very interesting Zelda game with some great themes like this one. Orchestral arrangement album here: ruclips.net/video/C9Hf45p7lRU/видео.html
I remember being sat there with my older brother thinking to myself "there's no way they could leave out dragon roost Island" the first encore came and went - nothing. Then when the second encore began we both looked at each other and just grinned
Oh my God, thank you so much for uploading this. I know I am about 9 months late in saying it though. I was actually at this exact concert and it has stuck in my head ever since. I'm going again this year in April and I know I am going to love every minute of it. thanks again buddy
+Heenis25 I'm going again in April with my sister. I'm debating whether or not to record it again, might get a better recording. Or I might just sit back and enjoy it. Not that I didn't enjoy it while his recording was taking place!
+Megan G (Meggs) would that be Powell Hall, St Louis? the schedule on the official site confused me for a while cos of the American mm/dd/yyyy system! (I'm British)
Thanks for uploading, really good quality video. I went to this concert with my brother and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, including the cheering. It was great to get the audience engaged with the music in such a way while still being respectful :)
@@k.b.7718 It was great, we all had a good time. Sad to see people like yourself with a stick up the rear about this kind of thing. The people running it even openly endorsed cheering and clapping. The environment in the audience was incredible, so pack your grumpy attitude away!
when I went to see this, my God did the feels rush in. Zelda being my favorite video game series of all time, I listen to the music for hours. at the master quest concert, when majora's mask played, I was in awe. the whole program was perfect. even better than 2nd quest. one of the best expierences of my life. also, I don't understand the problem with cheering. it added to the whole spirit of the orchestra. as stated multiple times, this is no regular orchestra. I know I cheered a lot.
+Chris I know! I was at this very one in the video, And I was worried about the cheering going in, But I then realised: Mics are not as good as the human ear. I could hear everything over the cheering, But still feel the true emotion comnig from every cheer. It made it that much better for me :D
I went to this year's concert last night, tried to record it with my new digital camcorder, smaller than my old MiniDV one I used last year, only to get collared in the intermission and forced to delete my footage :( Should have stuck to the cheap seats like last year, spent a bit more to get a great view in order to record it as well. Gutted as it was a new set line-up, not the same one as the last few years.
Yeah, I tried to do a cheeky seat swap with an even better audio recorder last night, but I was too cheeky. I went to a section where nobody was meant to be sat and ended up being told to put it away and go back to my assigned seat.
Which section were you in? I was in the raked/raised section at the back, facing the stage. I'm going to try and recover what I'd shot, afterall, half the concert's better than none!
+Kant Predict Hello! I wanted to ask which seat would you suggest me to get? I'm attending this year this Symphony at Wembley Arena and I'm not sure to choose the 40 pound or the 65 pound seat.
I like the enthusiasm of the audience. But come on I was trying to enjoy Sheik's Theme without shouting dammit!!! And Sheik is my favorite character (Besides Link). Well, at least at Fi's Theme nobody did a "whoo" to ruin the moment. (Actually I was expecting one since they kept doing it with the other songs. But I was pleasantly surprised they were quiet.)
I saw this st the SSE arena. was awesome! but I didn't appreciate the woman next to me, whose daughter clearly chose to see this, texting with her phone on full brightness saying "im surrounded by freaks" ... Looking back, i now wished I had said something to her about it... !
+sammy What the fuck sort of mother did says that about a child's interest. I'm 15 and I dragged my Dad all the way from Ireland for that concert, He's never played the games, But he loved it, and it reminded him of watching us play as really young kids.
+TheChromaKid I know right! ... Regardless if you don't like the games, the music is beautiful! I kinda wish I had said something, but didn't want to cause a conflict that would damped and taint my experience of the concert.
it's better that you didn't, honestly. it's not worth getting worked up over spoiled, dumb brats like that, and it won't change anything either, I'm afraid.
In all honesty, I was not in my ticketed seat. My seat was at the very back, in the opposite corner from where I shot this video. It would have been pointless recording from over there.
theprincessofpain very cheap. I got them as fast as I could but it was only very cheap or very expensive left at the time. The block I moved over to was actually empty!
Does the Ocarina of Time movement end with the start of Majora's theme??? Cuz that would be really cool. ALSO Idk if anyone pointed this out, but the song at 23:34 is Final Hours/Oath to Order.
Really annoying all that screaming in the middle of songs. Guys, you can't hear the music if you're screaming all the time! >__< I'm glad people were mostly politely quiet during the concert I was in. I think. Or maybe I was too wrapped up in *all the feels* to notice.
+muraalia Trust me, when I went to this exact concert in the video, I was worried they'd cheer too much. I found myself roaring my head off. It adds to the experience because it makes the audience really intimate and you can feel genuine emotion coming from every single cheer. It was stunning
I'm planning to attend this concert when it stops in Belgium in November, anyone know if the conductor (of whomever talks for the performance) will do so in English or French?
Jessica McMurtree Idk about the people talking live, But the videos of miyamoto, Aounuma and kondo are all japanese and have the same english subtitles everywhere. But that doesn't matter tbh. The music is all the same, And the fans are the same. Music is the one worldwide language
TheChromaKid Good point. I know it's their first time doing a show in Brussels, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Regardless. I'm going to enjoy the hell out of some amazing music.
yt mobile wont let me reply to ur reply but, anyways. yeah i totally agree but i think they were just trying to stay away from spoiler-y stuff. (because the skyward sword and twilight princess footage was pretty spoiler-y before, esp ss, all spoiler-y ending stuff) still kinda upset since i think it totally made the songs more memorable and dramatic with those cutscenes
When I went to this thing in Providence, the producer encouraged everyone to cheer and the crowd cheer for EVERY GODDAMN THING. Link holding the triforce, every time the video would change games, every new character shown. So obnoxious...
They want you to scream and shout whenever you want to, you know? Thats no normal Orchestra performance where everyone sips their wine and dresses like 50 years ago ;)
+月ノ・ジュリ~ I believe my ticket was about £40, but then I was meant to be right at the back. Instead I was sneaky and snuck over to a much MUCH better seat.
I had to be slightly sneaky. I moved to a different seat nearer and higher above the stage from my ticketed seat for a better recording. I also just acted like I was meant to be there with my phone recording the video and my sound recorder next to it.
You can clearly tell from all the screaming, that people truly love wind waker
And you can tell how fucking long does it take to audience to understand it's Dragon Roost Island Theme.
+Boo Tedesco I cried at wind waker
+TheChromaKid majora's mask made me cry. when the moon hit the earth my hair on my skin was standing, and and a tear hit my lap. It was stunning.
I was at this concert and i honestly think the cheering makes it all that much better! Hearing the enthusiasm for a game and its music makes me even happier listening to this. And hell i was one of the many people cheering so xD

I get to see them in a few months, and I'm so excited!
I'm in that crowd! Absolutely perfect! :')
You my friend are a legened for uploading this, me and my partner where literally sat behind you during this concert
Cried the entire evening.
It is absolutely ridiculous how epic this is.... Chills everywhere
59:30 Fairy's Fountain is my favorite part of this concert! I love singing those high notes! *heart eyes*
I personally love the LttP ending theme, when Link holds up that Triforce... :'D

Don't know when abouts it is in the vid but I'm sure if you listen it should be there unless it was during one of the cut out parts. Were you there?
I was there yea. Such an amazing night. I sat on the opposite side of where the camera in this video is, And back a bit further.

I filmed on my mobile (Sony Z1 Compact) with an external usb charger plugged in the whole time!

TheChromaKid No dates yet, as far as I know. It has been confirmed that Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions will be coming to the UK next year though. :D

DarthPanik64 It was so shocking... I feel sorry for her daughter!... plus, shes severely out numbered!....
I was sitting close by judging from your view :D
So beautiful.
You like fire emblem
+BlueBlaze yes...
if you listen closely, it's always the same guy saying " woo!" which follows the crowd cheering.
Honestly don't think there was a bad seat in the place, we opted for floor seats this year had a cracking view. Oh and 27.44 that's Lorule Castle.
In all honesty, I was not in my ticketed seat. My seat was at the very back, in the opposite corner from where I shot this video. It would have been pointless recording from over there.
Kant Predict Ah yes I noticed there was lots of spare seats the place definitely didn't sell out. I assume you went for the cheaper seats?
theprincessofpain I know! I was worried I'd have a bad view. It was amazing.
TheChromaKid It is a great arena.
theprincessofpain very cheap. I got them as fast as I could but it was only very cheap or very expensive left at the time. The block I moved over to was actually empty!
this sounds way different when ur actually there :/ i went to the one in boston for 2015 in i think december or september
I just bought tickets and was wondering it was different in person. Looking forward to the show.
i highly recommend it! It's very enlightening to hear in person :P
I think I overprocessed the low-end of the audio leaving it a bit tinny...
We were going to go last year but there were no good seats left :(
1:14:25 The best console videogame ever made.
GAH! Zelda Wii U better have a 30th Anniversary SoG disc! No joke, I frequently listen to the SS CD on my MP3 Player.
+Life and Gaming Same here, this stuff needs a proper recording and release.
YES YES ALL THE YESESS MUCH YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Does the Ocarina of Time movement end with the start of Majora's theme??? Cuz that would be really cool.
ALSO Idk if anyone pointed this out, but the song at 23:34 is Final Hours/Oath to Order.
1:27:43 can anybody tell me, where i can buy this hoodie/sweatshirt? i am looking for it so long but i really don't find it...
I was here! Though I'm pretty sure it was the 17th of April!?
OOPS You're right - April, not March! Edited!
ohhh The clock town theme was so unsettling.
i love 1:20:00 ... form the deep to the highest euphoria!
I was there! ^_^
They have to come to my city #Baltimore!
Who else cried during the Saria Montage?
EVERYONE. THAT ENTIRE MEDLEY WAS VERY EMOTIONAL
Where was that? Can you point to the beginning of that montage?
38:26
Oh, yes. I remember that one now. Such much emotion,
Kant Predict
Thank you
That's interesting. The drums didn't ruin it at the beginning of Ganondorf from TP. The trombones were out of time but!
42:08 Even I clapped for that from my computer
Really annoying all that screaming in the middle of songs. Guys, you can't hear the music if you're screaming all the time! >__<
I'm glad people were mostly politely quiet during the concert I was in.
+TheChromaKid (apart from the one guy who just randomly whooped every now and then, getting a few people to follow him)
Kant Predict Oh yeah that guy. His cheer is imbeded in my skull. It's kinda funny. It was all like:
Woahohwooooaaah!
You wil. It was amazing. I cried at the wind waker movement
+TheChromaKid We did end going to this show in Brussels... it was AMAZING! We plan on going to see it again in Germany later this year.
yt mobile wont let me reply to ur reply but, anyways. yeah i totally agree but i think they were just trying to stay away from spoiler-y stuff.
So obnoxious...
yeah, totally obnoxious. the one I saw a few weeks ago was miles better but I got caught trying to set up to record.
Did they kick you out or just confiscate?
+Rob Furness neither, I hadn't started recording yet, I just hastily made off back to my assigned seat and stuffed Mt equipment back in my bag.
Still no Twinrova theme. :c
1:28:48 sounded like someone was crying
1:31:33 - Deku Palace
That was very nice!
Also very funny 1:32:52
Do they have like this out on CD or i tunes download
kimo okamoto Nintendo and the producers of this show do not... but I may just post it there as this is my recording. (Unless you MEANT me, duh)
But Song of Storms... is it here did I miss it?
what equipment do you use to record the sound and turn it into FLAC format ? thanks for posting this amazing symphony !
+wiksadana13 I recorded it with a Tascam DR100 portable recorder as a WAV file and transcoded it to FLAC in Goldwave.
Majora's Theme in Ocarina of TIME!!!!! 47:19
yes, they do a little musical nod to MM at the end of the OoT movement.
I can't stop crying!!!!! : )
And then you look at the show in Amsterdam where everyone shuts up until the conductor turns around.
They want you to scream and shout whenever you want to, you know? Thats no normal Orchestra performance where everyone sips their wine and dresses like 50 years ago ;)
I totally agree!
Todo bien, excepto el publico que grita ¿Nunca han ido o visto una orquesta? Se supone que NO se grita.
I wanted to listen Song of Time and they only played it once and half of it was the screamings and woos from the public >:(
im going in october
Yeah, me too! Can't wait
what seat?
+TheDaily Vlogster In the middle.
+TheDaily Vlogster both of you, have fun!
Geez,this surely is very expensive.Like,here in Spain it's 56€ a person. But I can't say it isn't worth it :3
+月ノ・ジュリ~ I believe my ticket was about £40, but then I was meant to be right at the back. Instead I was sneaky and snuck over to a much MUCH better seat.
Kant Predict Heheh. XD
+月ノ・ジュリ~ Just went to the symphony yesterday at Heineken Music Hall, was bout 66 euro. Worth every cent!
Marvin Liu Why did I organize a party just the day there was the concert.WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY--- XD
I was there
They are not coming to my country😩😭😩😭😩😭😩😭😩😭😩😭
Where you from?
Armenia
Oh, interesting. One of my fencing coaches is from Armenia and offered to take the team there during the summer one time.
Un gran juegaso de nintendo
For me the best Hryule field theme is the Ocarina of Time one of all time
Did anyone else howl at 1:04:39 or was it just me? XD
Are you allowed to record since they don't sell CDs or did you have to be sneaky about it?
I had to be slightly sneaky. I moved to a different seat nearer and higher above the stage from my ticketed seat for a better recording. I also just acted like I was meant to be there with my phone recording the video and my sound recorder next to it.
What a weird crowd. Constant cheering at changes in leitmotifs.
