This is my Twilight Princess Epic Orchestral Medley. It took me a month of solid work and it's one of my longest compositions ever. I now consider it to be the best video game arrangement I've ever made (FINALLY bumped the Wind Waker medley down to #2!) The original composers of the TP OST were Koji Kondo, Michiru Oshima, Toru Minegishi, Asuka Ohta and Mahito Yokota. I hope I've done their works justice with this remix suite.

Twilight Princess was the only Zelda game I ever actually completed.....more than once. MM bugged me with how often I had to go back to "Dawn of the First Day" and do anything I had to do AGAIN! OoT was really fun, just never had the time to finish it. TP however, throws you RIGHT into the action right away with Epona to start you off, MM and OoT you had to find her and save her. TP is I think, my favourite game of the Zelda series
You can beat MM! Just play the song of time in reverse and you get double time back to you.
"Twilight princess however throws you right into the action" excuse me what? I'm sorry mate but this game treats you like an idiot for the first 3 hours. Has to be one of the slowest starting zeldas. Oh well at least after the slow start the game becomes really good.
@@hosuhla9566 have to agree here. Started my first playthrough of TP after finishing BOTW and it was verryyyyy slow to start off with. Now that I'm into it, it's pretty great.

@@hosuhla9566 the start of twilight Princess isn’t about teaching the player how to play. It’s about teaching the player who Link is up to this point. He’s a quiet farm boy with a calm life. The most adventurous thing he’s ever had the opportunity to do is deliver a package to castle town, and he’s stoked just to get that much, only to then be thrown headfirst into a battle to save the world. One line from Ilia really sums it up well “Promise you won’t get in over your head ok?” Link isn’t a trained knight. He’s not a sword master who pulled the master sword before the game even starts. He’s just a regular farm boy. While BotW has the best opening as far as gameplay goes, TP has the best opening as far as story goes.
The contrast between the songs, the way you transitioned between them. Just beautiful, to end where the game begins is truly awesome. Well done. (To all watchers and commentators: sorry for the obsession XD)

The City in the Sky/Twilight Palace Outside combo is absolutely marvellous and I, for one, truly appreciate that someone got to remix these beautiful, yet somewhat overlooked tracks. The entire medley was 100% amazing, but the emotional impact of that section in particular was truly beyond words.
Oh, and I guess I haven't said this before, but I absolutely love everything you do.

This is...fantastic. It's so beautiful... I have no words. You've done my favorite video game of all time justice! It sounds like something straight from ZREO. So professionally done-I love how all the parts easily slide into each other without a notice. My favorite parts was Overworld, Midna reveals her true form, Ilia and Hyrule Field at night-UGH SO MANY GOOD SONGS! They're all so good it's too hard to choose a favorite! Oh and to end off the video with the opening-Ohhh man. You made me feel so nostalgic and happy-And, You've earned a subscriber.

I first saw/listened to this a while ago- and I'm still in love with it! Twilight Princess is easily in my top 3 favorite LoZ games, and you certainly did it justice here. This is what I always listen to when I'm working on all of my homework (AP classes- yikes!), and is a great way to detract from the stress. Awesome job (Again. Since I'm fairly certain I've already commented here. If I have- oh well, you deserve all of the compliments :D)!

Sooo many memories strike my head right now. Soo many tears... thanks you for such beautiful work. I go about 8 years back in my mind... when I was 10, excited to get my new Zelda game (I'm fan from childhood... first Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Link to the Past and then Twilight Princess... It was 5th game in the series that I've played). Much has changed since then... soo much... It was great to become a child for those 30 minutes again, I'm so grateful.

As beautiful as I thought it would be. ;) Once again you did a spectacular job, for you are the best I know when it comes to orchestral Zelda music and my top creator for Medley's such as this. I was lost in the music the whole way through and the 32 minutes flew by before I even knew it! Simply splendid. My favourites from this track have to be: "Ordon Ranch," "Hyrule Castle Town," "Kakariko Village," "Ilia's Theme" and that stunning finale using the beginning soundtrack--ending the musical journey where the story began. Such a lovely composition for the overall piece. :)

You may have composed individual melodies that trump the individual melodies here (because you're that good) but taken as a whole, yes, this one has to be your best, at least to the date you made it. The incredibly well-structured order (you really meditated on that, I can tell) and the barely noticeable segues are perhaps the best I've heard in any medley of ANYTHING. Some individual highlights: the faithfully lazy beginning, the interconnected Midna "trilogy", the climactic nature of Ilia's theme (which, to me, also partially represented the modest hero's longing/affinity for home), the smart way you sampled the demo and title screen melodies.
I could complain about missing the sacred grove, the water/friendship/Rutella theme (even if ripped from "Ocarina"), and some of the boss themes, but your selection works so darn well, I can't really say whether you could have done any better by including them.
Count me in as another that unabashedly counts TP as easily his favorite Zelda game (and a decent contender for favorite game, period) and that says you did wonderful justice to this masterpiece.

By far one of my favorite tunes in twilight princess. It just has this feel that is indescribable to me. The sages were so creepy in a honorable way, that it just stuck with me.

Gosh, hearing nighttime Hyrule field! Such a serene theme is perfect for a night owl.
Calm always brings a tear to my eye (more or less) because it reminds me of the kids.
That finale is a great height of nostalgia for me. Your rendition sent even more chills down my spine. Terrific way to wrap the medley up.
You have such a way of melding themes together. It so well woven together and transitions so smooth that time just flies as I listen.

The game demo song is actually one of my favorites, especially the slow part before it goes into the part that they used the the Skyward Sword trailer. Great job on this entire thing, especially the ending.

Twilight Princess is such a beautiful and yet dark game. Together with OOT and MM my most favorite Zelda Game of all time. I wish Nintendo would go back to Games like this. Dark, awesome story, lovable sidekik characters like Midna. I still have hopes left that this game will get a Switch port one day and a sequel would be nice too (but I don't think this will ever happen). The music is amazing too. I could listen to this all day long ♥

This is excellent, you really did these compositions justice! I enjoy the light nature of the instrumentation because it feels easier merging between themes. The way you key changed certain pieces (like Ordon Village into Faron woods) and suspended movements to expand on the central melodies was genius! Being a lover of medleys, it bugs me when an artist slaps all the songs together without considering mood shifts or transitions, but its obvious careful and thoughtful production was put into this. An attempt to summarize my experience - I turned the key, opening the door to another land in a far-away dimension. I crossed over, immediately noticing Queen Melody and Princess Artwork. They stared at me and I was completely frozen in awe. The Queen opened her mouth to speak but a warm, piercing light flowed forth as her voice. I wanted to close my eyes in comfort, but the Princess started dancing...... making it impossible to look away.

Yeesh... how long has it been since I even played Twilight Princess? I barely recognize a lot of these tracks, but that's on me for deciding to have better things to do than get through TP again. I do remember that Malo's design made me a little uneasy, and I was constantly trying to hunt down those insects... but it was still a really great game. And now I have a reason to go back and play it again.
Just a few observations this time- you finally hit on a Zelda that I haven't managed to learn inside and out like I have with Ocarina of Time, Link's Awakening or Link to the Past!
- Hidden Village: I loved this area of the game- you get the Hawkeye mask and have to clear out all the enemies, and for lack of a better word, the Hawkeye turns your bow into a sniper rifle. This was one of the tracks that really stuck with me through the rest of the game- it's really peppy- almost like something you'd expect out of a old Western, if you could believe that. You really did it with this one- I really like the way you have several instruments like the cymbal and the tambourine accent the main theme, with what I think is maybe harp, or guitar? (I'm not too sure on it, but it's early and I haven't had coffee yet...) I really like it, and I wish it was longer!
Hyrule Castle Mezzanine- You know, if you want to talk recognizable themes, you have to go with the main theme as your first pick, but this is starting to be one of the others that keep cropping up- and I really like what you did with it. It's quiet and menacing at the same time- like you're trespassing somewhere that you're not supposed to- and that you're finally getting close. It just makes you not want to run fast, almost like one misstep could get you spotted and get hordes of enemies all over you. The woodwind (unsure if clarinet or flute) starts it out, and then you let it carry the melody while letting everything else just accent it, which I thought was really awesome. It doesn't have to be all flashy- you know when to let the melody just be on its own and I love that about your work.
Opening - The vocals pretty much nail it. The instruments just accent and never overpower them, and instead of fighting with them, the whole thing just sounds amazing. You really got hold of this one!
I wish I had more to say about all the songs you worked so hard on, but like I said, I barely remember this one! But I will take the opportunity to ask you a few things:
1) What do you think happens after the ending scenes- Link leaving Ordon Province? Is he going out to see the world, or is he maybe trying to find a way to reconnect Hyrule to the land of the Twili? Personally, I always was split between thinking he wandered off to see the world before coming home to end up with Ilia- or that he desired to find a way to the Twili realm to find Midna again. Either the back-home sweetheart or the tried-and-true battle companion... I think this was really the first one where you couldn't establish a real possible relationship between Link and Zelda without a lot of thought.
Gut says he couldn't find a way back there and came home to be with Ilia.
2) What's next? I know, you just dropped the longest medley you've ever made (and are hopefully treating yourself to a few extra treats with that tea of yours!), and this is the last question you want to hear right now- but I must admit I'd love to hear what you've got planned next. Maybe a Link Between Worlds medley, maybe Skyward Sword or Phantom Hourglass- or is it something original? Or if you might be open to suggestions, maybe look at the Lunar franchise? The remastered Complete versions of Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue have some amazing music that ought to be right up your alley- especially Silver Star Story with all the ocarina-backed tracks.
But I first hope you treat yourself to some fun things and relaxation before you even think about more music! You've earned it, great work!
+Rain Feather I absolutely believe- Hidden Village is definitely a Western style theme! :D I love those tracks in the series. Tal Tal Heights is one of them, as is the Kakariko theme in this game. That string instrument you're asking about is a mandolin- so a cross between guitar and harp, sort of, hehe!
Your description of the Mezzanine theme is PERFECT! You really hit the nail on the head, I think, with the "trespassing" remark. You put to words what I had felt all along, but hadn't yet intellectualized. It's actually a clarinet and a flute together, with a bit of violin in the background. ;)
I actually see the story the same way you do. I think Link will explore the world and come home to Ilia, as he most likely does in OoT, doing his Majora adventure and preparing everything for the next resurrection of Ganon, and then coming home to Malon. I suspect Link never ends up with Zelda in any of them! That's why Marin is a siren, in fact!
Actually, I was sipping tea while reading these, hehe! You know me so well. Next medley is actually going to be Secret of Mana or another FF6 one. Then, I'll be doing Phantom Hourglass or SS. In the winter, I'll do Skyrim. ;) I never played Lunar yet. :O I know it has good music, though!
I'm definitely treating myself today! A friend has a nice surprise for me, which I'm about to go and collect! I have no idea what it's going to be. ^_^

Secret of Mana or another FF6 medley... I'd go for Mana, myself- I'd love to hear your take on "Fear of the Heavens", "Still of the Night", and "Leave Time For Love". Let's face it, Square knows how to get everything out of a sound chip when given half a chance, and they got all of it with Mana. I don't think there's a bad track in the bunch- sure, there are some I like more than others, but... if you start asking me to name titles, you're going to get half the soundtrack or more. :P
But hey, to paraphrase a movie quote, you are the music-maker, and you are the dreamer of the dreams. Whatever you put out next, we'll listen to!
