EOTech 512 on BCM M4 Build

- I just got my first "real" optic - the Eotech 512! Advantages: high quality, rugged, parallax free, and uses readily available & cheap AA batteries. Disadvantages: big & bulky, uses a lot of rail space, expensive. I also show the Yankee Hill Eotech riser that I bought to go along with the optics. Can't wait to take it out to the range. just shot my brothers m4 with the eotech holographic and i couldnt comprehend the accuracy of this piece of heaven right out of the box its expensive but definitely worth every penny.
My Buddies Patrol Rifle 2010 512 model had an issue & he gave it to me. It's Nov. 2020, I contacted Eotech & without hesitation, they offered to repair it for free! It was never registered, etc. However, I guess from bouncing around in his Patrol Tahoe the Center Square Glass Piece that is sandwiched between the outer & front glass just fell & was rattling around. I Just sent it off to Eotech for repair & can't wait to get it back. Not bad on Eotech's part for jumping on this repair without any questions asked

Damn did u trade it in with eotech after the lawsuit? Also crazy how cameras 8 years ago couldn't pick up the reticle

Nice optic. My friend has an Aimpoint Micro and I like the look of it, just not the price tag. I got the cheap version, Bushnell TRS-25. It's almost identical at a 6th of the price.
We should stretch the legs on our 700s. Lemme know. Cheers brother.
I think I'd like to get a TRS-25 for my AK, unless I like this Eotech so much that I spring for another one. Would love to hit up the range with our Remys but mine's going back to the factory to have its trigger inspected.
PSA has the TRS for $105. My friend bought one during the 20% off sale for about $95 delivered.
I'm gonna spring for a 1.5-3lb Timney trigger vs. sending in my gun. E. Arthur Brown has them for $119 and $4 s/h. As for now, gotta load some rounds for it and work up a load for my FrankenAR varmint rifle. I'm gonna use 77gr Nosler Custom Comp. We'll get you to bang the gong at 600yds.
ElTerrible666 I plan on getting a better trigger too but my OCD won't allow me to have a potentially "dangerous" part hanging around lol. Is it the Timney 517 that you're getting? Ah so many toys, so little money.

True. I just finished my AR pistol on a budget (like everything else). Ordered some Tula SRMPs but, I think I messed up. I don't think they'll be hot enough to burn ball powder, oh well. I'll load a few and make sure I take a cleaning rod with me :/

I buy primers now at Big 5 if at all possible. They're Winchester and you don't get nailed with that damn $27.50 hazmat fee.

would you recommend just removing the front sights with the EOTech
I personally would keep the front sight. Optics, even high-quality ones like EoTech, Aimpoint and Trijicon, can fail.
nice. all you need now is a light. if you wanna go for the m4gery look, look up surefire 951s on ebay. you can upgrade it with an LED from amazon for like 10bucks. i have it on this video: ar15 mag dump in slow motion
oh and look up the knights armament RAS on ebay too. alot of GIs are selling them from what they aquired from the service. also look up matech for the BUIS. the light, rail, and BUIS are authentic gov issue.

Night Which lol you’re an idiot. Do you see the stickers on the bottom with serial and QR code? These can be checked with EOtech to make sure they correspond with the manufacture date. Also, the word “MILITARY” is spelled correctly on the right side, a clear marker of fakes during this time period. You’re never going to see a fake EOTech where the serial and manufacture/inspection dates can be fudged.
