Thanks for sharing the video. Eotech needs to put the bumper kit for the Battery Compartment back on their website. The 9-N 2107-A Grommet kit, and the 9-A Bumper Should be sold as one unit.
I had corrosion inside my Eotech 512 so I ordered a new battery compartment and a contact replacement kit now works again! NOTE: Once you install the new contact adhesive gasket install the battery compartment as well so the adhesive seats good. Mine was coming undone before I did that.

I’ve replaced my 512 battery compartment twice now. It’s stopped working yet again and no parts are available anywhere. For $500 you think they could have worked this issue out. It’s just a paperweight now. Should have went with Aimpoint.

@@Kdog123123 It did. I'm thinking of trying to send it back for repair. A friend has an xps that was no longer daylight bright. He contacted the eotech service department. He paid the shipping to eotech. They replaced the gas, sealed it and sent it back to him and eotech paid the shipping back. Cost him less than $80. Different issue I know, but may be worth a try.
I just pulled mine apart and sanded all the contacts and spring ends with 500 grit. It was tuff inside the small spring holes but I used a cut in half toothpick to sand those out. Just like new
Are these kits compatible with the 553 series and is there a way to fix my daylight brightness it's not very bright outside
Mine is a 517, will this fit mine? cant find the exact looking piece, or do i have to cut the rubber mat?
Eotech...You uploaded this video a week ago yet you do not have either of these parts kits in stock. Also, everywhere online I look, it says that the new 1 piece grommet with springs that goes in the nose of the battery cover (9-N Bumper Kit) is discontinued?......and the 9-N 2107-A Battery Grommet kit is very hard to find. Can you please address this question.
I need those to be sent to Thailand. My 512 doesn't work due to the battery corrosion. Do you send to Thailand?

Will the EOTech EXPS Base Service Kit attach to the xps2?
I have the same question as the last commenter. I need to find the repair kit for 511/512 main unit with springs, cups, and washers with new rubber. I would also like to find the repair kit for the battery compartment as well. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

How much does it cost? Already spent 500$ and you'd think it would work for over 20 years. I have the old round grommets and the connectors seem cheap.
Thank you. Weird my EOTech "sled" has no model markings at all. I bought this a long time ago. Kinda sorry I did. The red ring reticle looks like it was carved into the glass with a hammer and chisel.

I have 4 Eotech 511. I have to use the dimmer in max level and I can't see nothing in daylight. Any tip for me?
I replaced the battery cap and still the same weak circle and dot.
Very possible that this is an issue with legacy eotech products, if you look up eotech reticle fading it did occur in earlier products. If it's older than 2016 I'd say 100% that it's your problem. Check the bottom of your sight for the manufacture date

I am dissapointed to find they don't support their older products. Firearms are long term items. They need long term sights.
Never really thought about battery life. EOtech batteries don’t last all that long anyway.
It's kind of ridiculous you guys sell this thing as a war ready doomsday prepper kind of thing and it can just die I haven't even had it for a year this should be under warranty
