As terrible as alkaline AAs are by modern standards, your logic about SHTF scavenging are spot on. People always think of what's the latest and greatest without realizing they aren't going to have the logistics they do right now. Good video, nice build.
Glad to see you back out there burning powder. Gotta get me another ar. I am currently ar-less but maybe soon. I just like other stuff so much more. Thanks for the video.
I also like other stuff more. The AR is not real. It has no soul. It’s just a collection of parts. But it’s fascinating to experiment with. It’s like an adult Erector Set. Thanks, as always!
@@user-pe3mp6nx5e every time I do a build, I always end up buying a heavy barrel for some reason. I just wanted to do something different. Also, the Eotech 512 is a fairly heavy optic. I wanted to keep the overall weight of the rifle down.

Thank you!
Again a build that looks like it is doing what it should be. BTW, the first target looks like Smokey Bear, take a look.
Ammo choice will prob tighten that group. Two sandbags and a 4x4 is pretty solid firing platform.
