When cleaning the books in the bookcase, I also use canned air to clean the exposed pages along the tops of the books... outside of course, lol! I just grab a bunch of books I've finished wiping down and stack them on the dining table, hauling them outside the back door one book at a time to blow off the exposed page tops.
Seriously? I have too many books for that. I just bought an 'as seen on tv' thing I love. It's a bundle of small tubes that fit over the vacuum hose. They suck up all sorts of dust and tiny debris.
Mahta Mouse I bought it one on clearance at Target called Dust Daddy. NewEasy.com on box? Hopefully that will help anyone who wants one. It instantly made me think of BulbHead (also an As Seen on TV company) one with more money because their videos are shown at hours people are awake too! So if interested thats the only trail Ive got. No phone BUT Distributed by OnTel Products Corp 21 Law Drive Fairfield NJ 07004. It makes things like that easier. Supposed to work for all kinds of things you want to clean books, dust out of keyboard or drawers without taking pens out..etc. However I have not tried it yet. didnt get into that deeper cleaning yet. I dont think people knew what the heck it was and people dont take time to check stuff out.
Dusting the top of the pages does nothing to get rid of the dust inside the book. You really need to fan them from the spine so the pages slap hard and you will see tons of dust come out the inside of the pages.
I mix white vinegar, water & dawn dish soap in a spray bottle as a cleaning solution! I used it to clean many things like the soap scum from my bath tub. I stopped using caustic chemicals, which may be the cause of certain cancers in women
That’s great. As time goes by we will likely learn that more non natural chemicals are bad for us. So good on you that you are using natural solutions. Thank you for sharing, it’s very helpful insight for our viewers. :)
Dolores Winn I Love using vinegar to clean with. My Grandmother always used vinegar to clean while I was growing up and I watched first hand how effective it is. I hate chemicals & that’s all cleaning supplies has in them. Vinegar is all natural & clean’s just as good, if not better than any cleaning agent can! My Grandmother also soaked all of her white laundry in a bucket of cold water with Tide Laundry Detergent and her whites were always so white, no matter how old or how bad they looked before the cleaning. While you’re cleaning, also open up all your window’s and let some fresh air in, it help’s to get rid of extra dust & help’s remove harmful toxin’s in the house.
So cleaning the fan and letting dust hit the floor is creating more work which is right but then you go on to say get a pillow case 🤔🤔 which you will have to dump the dust out and wash the pillow case that seems like more work to me. I let it hit the floor then vacuum it
Go outside, turn the pillow case inside-out and wave it in the breeze (standing upwind, of course). That'll get rid of most of the dust/dirt; then simply wash the pillow case with the next usual load of laundry. Mission accomplished! :)
Hay I dont have total white shoes but that part that is I take a tooth brush and some liquid detergent and scrub I then spray peroxide scrub and rinse ,shoes look good
I HATE ironing! For those who hate ironing here's my trick: spray starch. Spray clothes and put them in the dryer. Or spray them & let them hang over night. Also you can water down Downy & spray your clothes. Let them hang over night or just a couple hours. Wrinkle free!!!

Bestie I would have enjoyed this video a lot more without all the noisy background music. As it was, I could only stand it for about 3 minutes. So could not watch the video all the way through. I just don't get it. Why do so many youtube videos have noisy background music? Do you think we enjoy it? Considering I am not the only person remarking on this, I would say we do not enjoy it.
I have an easier one for baseboards, especially from lazies like me: Use socks you don't mind destroying, slip them on your feet then just use your feet to sweep the dust off. throw everything in the washer. done.
I use a traditional mop for weekly cleaning ... then for deeper cleanings just wet the mop in water with a little liquid soap and clean . Make sure the mop is not dripping wet .
I don't use the Swiffer wet pars,it's a waste of money. I use old Terry clothe towels. I cut them to size. I also use the microfiber clothes. When I'm finished with them I wash them in the washing machine. Wahla! There ready to use again.
I took microfiber cloths, sewed 2 together and it works The Best for the ceiling fans.. And all this guy did was watch 5 min crafts cuz they had all these last year.. Lol... Happy cleaning everybody...
About the exhaust fan. That may blow out the dust but what about the grease and grime? Vinegar works for rusty cutlery and tools. Soak in straight vinegar for 24 hours.
Not much if a hack.... any of them. 1. Why not just use the broom to sweep the dust off the baseboards (like the paintbrush-blinds "hack") while you sweep the floor? 2. How does soaking a broom remove all the hair... in my experience this just makes it stick worse. 3. Please no one use bread to pick up glass...(this is actually a waste of money also just fyi). 4. Clean the air vents with.........a brush, don't blow $12 on canned air. 5. Don't you then have to wash the pillow case after cleaning the fan... wasting water, electricity and therefore, money. 6. There were so many more cringe worthy moments in this video i can't/won't list them all.... Note to @Bestie Please actually try these hacks first.. just blerting out crap you read on the net makes your channel seem very unprofessional and that you have no idea what you're talking about. Also if the aim of the video is to "save money", perhaps don't tell everyone to waste so much money by discarding perfectly good food etc. Pretty much only 3 or 4 were usefull. But still nowhere near a "hack".3
Use oven cleaner to get get dark rings or stains out of your tub and shower floor. Spray and let set for at least 10 min. Rinse and make sure you clean the areas good with soap and hot water and rinse again.
Also final rinse the area with vinegar because most oven cleaners contain caustic soda , The same chemical found in drain cleaners , The vinegar will neutralize any remaining oven cleaner
So your saying instead of wiping a spill with towel I should put flour on it. Wait and then clean the stain AND THE FLOUR ??? That doesn't make sense. Lol
No! No! If u spill something here's what u do. You get orange emgency cones in front of the spill like when your changing a tire , then u get a sawsa and begin cutting the circumference of the spill, u with me? Ok then u get the same material do your measuring refill what was removed, polish let dry good as new. And make sure that no good spilling bastard!! Never steps foot in your house again! Am I clear? Good now go have a happy life. Jac
How about hiring a good professional house cleaner? It’s not that expensive and it’s effective. Now, all the dusting hacks in this video are terrible. Nothing works better than the swiffer duster. $12 for 18, sounds expensive? Well, use one throughly then lightly spray Pledge on it, and it works like new again. That will extend the use. Also, Get a good canister vacuum cleaner like Kenmore. It comes with all the attachments you’ll need. It’s powerful and affordable ( as low as $179 ) and they last forever, the maintenance is less expensive than any other vacuum! Just a few suggestions from my own experience, as a professional residential and commercial cleaner of 19 years.
Dropped a glass? No need to worry, just simply grab 2 breads and pat and collect the glass, now you have a “glassy” sandwich with that wine soaked bread😙😌🙌🏽🥵
If someone vomits on the floor, dump a bunch of baking soda on top. The baking soda will absorb it up and help eliminate the smell. Then scoop it up with a dusty pan.
This video was not very effective. Some hacks are so old and some were useless. Why tell us to use a dryer sheet to clean a baseboard when the example shows someone using a microfiber cloth?
I actually do the fab soft sheet on baseboards and it does work. I use the swiffer, put the sheet on there just as if it were the dry or wet wipes and just sweep. Picks up dirt, leaves a nice smell and keeps dirt from picking up so fast
You just make sure the base boards aren't extremely dirty. I found it useful when the baseboards were freshly cleaned before doing that. It only helps for about a month or two, sometimes three months. So yes you have to clean it a 4-6times a year. Plus it leaves a nice smell.
@@emmasasmr2982Just be careful with the dryer sheet on your swiffer. It can make some floors slippery. Not good if you are a clutz like me. And NO I did not use a dryer sheet on my floor, but there was some residue on the bottom from using I guess cause when I put the swiffer in and did the floor later that day there were 2 slick spots on my floor that of course I happened to find. Just be careful!! It hurts.
And after u wipe up broken glass off floor with slice of bread, put layer of peanut butter and jelly and feed to your most hated neighbors and boom. Two birds with one stone.

When cleaning the books in the bookcase, I also use canned air to clean the exposed pages along the tops of the books... outside of course, lol! I just grab a bunch of books I've finished wiping down and stack them on the dining table, hauling them outside the back door one book at a time to blow off the exposed page tops.
That’s a great idea. Thanks for the tip! :)
The rust hack Omg! I have to try
I use water with a little white vinegar for glass cleaner. Cheap, effective.
How much vinegar? Water? Dawn dish soap?
Judy Anne i don’t measure it! But mostly vinegar, squirt in some dawn then dilute it a bit!
I really like this new chapter function on RUclips
So cleaning the fan and letting dust hit the floor is creating more work which is right but then you go on to say get a pillow case 🤔🤔 which you will have to dump the dust out and wash the pillow case that seems like more work to me. I let it hit the floor then vacuum it
Go outside, turn the pillow case inside-out and wave it in the breeze (standing upwind, of course). That'll get rid of most of the dust/dirt; then simply wash the pillow case with the next usual load of laundry. Mission accomplished! :)
Use an old umbrella. With a curved u shaped handle to hang on blade to catch dust!
Very interesting👁
Music is so loud that it is difficult to hear the speaker.
Music in demonstrative, educational videos are very disturbing.
Annoying....and stupid music
You are lucky
That's probably for the best..just saying..

Super ancient, some are out dated and dangerous and none of these are that practical. SUPER FAIL!!!
OMG I've been looking for the baseboard tips everywhere !! Thank you so very much ❤
I HATE ironing! For those who hate ironing here's my trick: spray starch. Spray clothes and put them in the dryer. Or spray them & let them hang over night. Also you can water down Downy & spray your clothes. Let them hang over night or just a couple hours. Wrinkle free!!!

Bestie so the nail polish remover used to keep white shoes white. Is that with or without acetone??????
Might have been better if I didn't have to listen to loud music over the narrator. You're supposed to listen to words not music.
1:30 tip #3 😱 I've broken my iron. It stopped heating for full power. I think powder of soda fulled holes for steam. Thank you 😂.
I have an easier one for baseboards, especially from lazies like me: Use socks you don't mind destroying, slip them on your feet then just use your feet to sweep the dust off. throw everything in the washer. done.
Really good idea I'll try that👍
Sounds like a good exercise too!
I use a traditional mop for weekly cleaning ... then for deeper cleanings just wet the mop in water with a little liquid soap and clean . Make sure the mop is not dripping wet .
Cleaning house and such takes time to start with, who has time to soak their broom for an hour afterward?!
I don't use the Swiffer wet pars,it's a waste of money. I use old Terry clothe towels. I cut them to size. I also use the microfiber clothes. When I'm finished with them I wash them in the washing machine. Wahla! There ready to use again.
You meant "Voilá!"
I like wahla
Well I don't know about the rest of you but I stay awake all night worrying about the dust on my brooms.
Note to @Bestie
Please actually try these hacks first.. just blerting out crap you read on the net makes your channel seem very unprofessional and that you have no idea what you're talking about. Also if the aim of the video is to "save money", perhaps don't tell everyone to waste so much money by discarding perfectly good food etc.
Pretty much only 3 or 4 were usefull. But still nowhere near a "hack".3
The bread works. I always do it when glass has been broken. It picks up the tiny shards you can't get with a cleaning tool.
So useful hacks ...thank you so much for this vdo
Use oven cleaner to get get dark rings or stains out of your tub and shower floor. Spray and let set for at least 10 min. Rinse and make sure you clean the areas good with soap and hot water and rinse again.
Great suggestion! Thank you for sharing with our viewers! :)
Also final rinse the area with vinegar because most oven cleaners contain caustic soda , The same chemical found in drain cleaners , The vinegar will neutralize any remaining oven cleaner
Good tips .Thanks😊

I love your lovely video thank you so much Iam new love it hi good video bff
🤪🤪🤪🤪TURN DOWN THE FRIGGIN VOLUME!!!!!🤪🤪🤪🤪
So your saying instead of wiping a spill with towel I should put flour on it. Wait and then clean the stain AND THE FLOUR ??? That doesn't make sense. Lol
Plus.... It makes glue so that would be even worse lol
No! Jac
Right😂😂😂
Lol
This was funny,IL use the blinds hack and iron ai
Wow ! Thank you 👍I am not a smart person thanx for the hack

That's a lot of expenses
i love fun facts so this helps out a lot around the house
Glad you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching! :)
Then scoop it up with a dusty pan.
you can also clean earbuds with a toothpick
and blinds with a damp duster.. or spray the blinds and wipe with duster
Thanks.
I will try the hardwood hack for my entryway. It better work good on my floor : )
We are glad that you found our video useful. Please share your experience and stay tuned for more interesting videos.
Hey did the hardwood hack work for you?
Interesting
broken glass can be cleaned with a lint roll,
This video was not very effective. Some hacks are so old and some were useless. Why tell us to use a dryer sheet to clean a baseboard when the example shows someone using a microfiber cloth?
Thank you for sharing, we really value everyone's opinion. What hacks would you suggest using? Please share. :)
Wow thank you
The hacks are great, but the background music distracts
