How's the battery life? Just for reading. Wifi off, bt, off, just front light at ~10% lighting?
Also, can this be connected to a keyboard?

I was told that the first run of the P10 had the wacom layer by accident as it wasn't officially licensed. But the current runs of the device don't support wacom.

Great review. Do you know if another Wacom pen is working with this device?, I like it but I don't want a battery powered stylus.
Thanks, I sent them an email asking if there is a place people can buy the ares stylus or a none battery powered pen that works with the P10.

However,
I tested a few of the stylus pens that I had, some Huion stlus pens work but only full pressure all the time.
How ever testing an old Thinkpad stylus pen with the red eraser tip, seems to work as good as the Ares model.
Look around AliExpress there are tons of those, if you can find the ones that have a button + rear eraser tips then they should have a good chance of working for ya.

I happen to have one, it does have the right pressure sensitivity, but I havnt got the chance to see if I can calibrate it, as its slightly offset from where you try to draw.
Hi! I activated the option to automatically refresh the images on tachiyomi, but when I read manga it only works when I open the menu, I am French and I have bad English I am not sure to be clear but if you have a solution I take!
Hi sorry, just saw your comment, find tachiyomi then hold it down till a menu pops up and select optimize then set your settings in there. You can copy my settings in 11:10.

@@LifeKommando thanks! I would be very interested to see a video on you trying out some different stylus on the P10. There may be some others that are more readily available ( I’m in the U.K.). Or if not a video then just hearing about the results. I have ordered a P10 which should turn up next week.

So, after watching this video, I ordered the Ares replacement stylus for my likebook P10 spending an hefty amount of $41 and it doesn't work. What went wrong? :/

Does 200 PPI Noticable while i read scanned PDF or any ebook formation?
I just save budget for P78 but Scanned PDF is not perfect in 7.8" device.
I'm Confused now.
It will be easier to read with a bigger screen but with the ppi on the p10, you will notice it is not as sharp as it could be, specially if you compare it side by side with another ereader with higher ppi.

can you do a scanned pdf compared video on ares 7.8 vs p10 if possible. it would be a great help like us who is confued how is perform scanned pdf in 7.8 and 10 devices.

I'll be honest I probably wont be able to make such dedicated video, however if you are worried about readability, both will do the job.
If its for speed performance next time I pick up my P10 I can test a scanned PDF to test the speed performance
@@LifeKommando Speed is not issue actually. I didn't see any Scanned PDF looks like in 7.8" devices. Everyone reviews epub, manga, comics, and Text PDF. I have a lot Scanned PDF that's why I'm worried.

So far it feels really durable, and they are always updating the tablet so if any issues they will fix it.
like recently they pushed an update that caused it to poweroff when sleeping after 10 seconds.
Couple days later they sent an update to fix it.
Hey there. Great review. Now it just confuses me even more to figure out which I should choose for my first eReader. I have an idea of what I want and maybe you can help me figure out if there's something out there like that or not? I would like a large e-reader like this one but I would also like the 300ppi like the smaller one that you showed in the earlier part of the video. I know I don't want to Kindle because you have to be basically stuck in the Kindle family. But I do like the like book. I would also like one that has external storage if possible. Is it possible that you can help me find something like that? Thank you!
Hey, I would suggest taking a look at what Onyx Book has to offer, they should have a large model with external storage and high DPI while also running android like in this one.
I have not looked too much into those however I know they are a competitor in this type of tablets so would be good to start your search there : )

Why no PDFs? How well do they run ? Why to EReader reviewers never speak about the reading experience of books and PDFs reading experience.
Is it easy to make bookmarks, find pages. can you make notes ?? Can you draw patterns or symbols for book marks etc etc.
I recommend watching my Likebook Area review as it has the same (older) software, there I showcase the note taking features. You can skim through it if you would like.

My Ares' pen is not working on its own screen. But, it's working on other tablets (e.g. samsung tablet). Would you know what's wrong with it? The pen seems to be working fine but it's not working on the Ares' screen 🥲
