I listen to this guy not because I am interested in what he is talking about. His deep voice is very calming and relaxing.
I was insomniac until I met this amazing channel
for me is nice to listen him too, im not english speaker so i need someone to understand easy and i can understand him quite well
My dreams come true. No one talks about the Likebooks!!
Thank you, Voya, I really enjoy your down-to earth reviews and sudden low-level outburst of a certain anankastic personality type that I can deeply relate to 💕
Honestly im very impressed. I didnt have time to watch the entire video but it looks VERY promising at the half point mark. Looking back to see the other half and also to your update on the device.
Im also intrigued by the decision to sell the pen sperately, meaning that if you have one you dont have to pay for new one in the device price... which is nice. But also, you feel like you have to pay extra as a new user...
But, since its the cheepest on the market with paying extra for a pen, i guess they can get away with it just fine.
Super excited and also love to see how excited you are...
Also, try ask them about the white device... maybe they can turn the black device to a review model and send you the correct one you wanted.
As always ..i love your spontaneous comments ...
Thanks.. you are the best for e reader review 🔥
I completely agree with you.
Thank you very mich for the support :)
Truth
Great review as always : )
Its running Android 8.1 with full access to Google play services .
I saw your other reviews too they are exellent. I have seen almost all your reviews by now, for one specific reason, for I have a question I might have asked below your another video too .... Please can you suggest any E ink device (non-color) with has clearest white background (without frontlight) + high contrast / PPI + Capablity of correction typing with external keyboard? I would really appreciate.
Hello.Love the video. Do you have the link where I can buy the ink book online?
Interesting...I am waiting for the in depth review..
How is the screen quality ? I would use it mainly as a PDF and epub reader
Would be nice to have a comparison with the other 10 inch eReaders, as soon as you have tested it a bit. :)
How good is the screen? How precisely can be adjusted?
Hi, would you recommend it for studying pdf textbooks?
I tried Alita Likebook a year ago, it felt nicer to write and to read than onyx note pro, but the library nd the way it displayed the ebooks was inferior to onyx at that time, I was sad to return it and to continue with onyx note mainly for its better software. If the software is better I might upgrade to Likebook.
pls do battery test with wifi n BT connect :) thinking of note air or P10 but p10 is half of note air prices ....
I have ordered this after watching your review .Thanks
This was an unboxing and first impressions. Not a review, with no verdicts and no actual pros and cons analysis. Just keep that in mind.
@@MyDeepGuide yah i understand ..but this was enough for me
Where did you order it from and have you received it yet? I am in the US and seems like goodereader is a possible place to order from, but several bad reviews on other sites make me fearful of ordering there.
@@mmitchum3826 I bought it from amazon.
If you want to buy a big screen ebook reader and don't want to use for anything else except reading it's ok to buy this product. Its just an amazon kindle with android and 10 inch screen with a pen to mark on the book (yes its slow and battery life is exceptionally low like continuous reading with front light will not support for a day ..but If you turn off the screen ,battery life will support you longer like I can read 1-2 hours for 4 (approximately) days without charging when front light is not turned off (90% of the time) .) .PDF format is supported .I waste too much time on youtube and social media so I bought this to cultivate those time.
@@mehedeehassan208 Thank you! I have it on order from Amazon and hopefully will get it in a day.
Hi Voya, Nice opening video. I hope your deep guide is a good one for this device, looking forward to it. BTW....where did you purchase ? Aliexpress ?
Yupps, AliExpress.
The tracking number sent to me is incorrect, please I want a correct number, and I have already been informed that shipping is mostly done by DHL, why Japanese post.
Thank you. Very nice presentation. I own this device and I can tell that it is very simple and usable, not many bells and wistles. Unfortunately I have never had a similar device to compare it with. Does anybody know where one gets extra nibs from? Regarding the digitizer technology I already noticed that it kind of works with the XPPEN Deco V2 pen but it is a little bit off. this confuses me since the xppen stylus is not powered while the likebook stylus has a battery. Anyway sorry for the long comment.
@costas358 - are you still enjoying your Likebook? I have a Boox Nova 3 which I love but am looking for a larger ereader - the P10 looks good and so cheap compared to Supernote of Note Air.
@@honeychurchgipsy6 If I were to purchase a device now I would have gone with the p10w. Because it comes with wacom technology but as I understand it that would defeat the purpose of buying a cheaper device since the price difference is not that great. If you want excellent note taking and note export capabilities probably stick with Boox. If you just want to annotate files because it helps you with your studies P10 is a really affordable and durable design.
@@costas358 - thanks for the feedback. I have issues with my hands too and when Voja said that the P10 was top heavy I thought - oh oh!! I think it's going to be the Note Air for me - only trouble is that the Boox AI (handwriting to text) doesn't work properly in the notebooks. It gets all the word order muddled up.
I've discovered a hack: write a few words - press the AI reflow then it allows you to use the pen to edit and you can write an entire page of notes that it converts on the fly (much as my Samsung S6 lite does using a small box to write in). I can save by exporting but I haven't yet worked out how to get several pages in one notebook!!
Has anyone checked how works typing on a bluetooth keyboard connected to the P10?
Thanks Voja. I got one recently as well. My opinion so far:
Pros: very nice to hold especially with the grip layer on the back and the screen feels nice to the touch. I have no issue with the weight. Very nice as an e-reader (which for me means mainly PDFs with technical contents). And then the price of course.
Cons: inferior to my old (and smaller) Onyx Boox Nova Pro in almost every other respect.
Since I bought this mainly as an e-reader with a larger and more comfortable screen than the Nova (i.e. for when my eyes get tired) I am happy with it. But I might eventually get a Note (Air or 3 color?) anyway because I am starting to miss the addtional features, especially the ability to store and sync my document (PDF) highlights, scribbles etc... This device does not embed those inside the documents!
Hi there! I'm looking to buy an ereader mainly for reading books and PDF. Are the PPI good enough to provide a confortable reading experience?
@@mystic4panda285 That's probably a peronal thing, depending on the quality of your eyes and how tired you are. But compared to the Nova I do find it more comfortable and most of the time I can't even be bothered to strip off the margins (which would make the text even larger). This is in spite of the fact that the dpi is lower and therefore everything less sharp than the Nova and most other smaller devices.
Ghosting seems to be worse and I refresh on every page turn (you can set that, don't have to do it manually). But maybe it is just more noticeable on larger screens, I can't say.
So if I would only read then this device would be perfect enough for me. But not being able to sync highlights and notes because they are not embedded in the pdfs is really beginning to annoy me (as is the fact that they seem to be harder to make: it might just be my fat fingers, but this is much less of a problem on the Nova so I think it is the software) and I find myself annotating less than I probably should. So my next device will probably be a Note or Note Air because of that.
I am keen to see Voja's review and his opinions, but I think whether this is for you depends on whether you just want a Kindle-like e-reader with a couple of extras and a larger screen or the full-blown e-Note+Reader experience. I am probably spoilt by the Nova in that respect, even though it is just a Nova Pro. It also depends on how much money you are willing and able to spend of course...
Hi,
Can this device do a split screen?
Any other points to note when compared to onyx boox note air?
Show Tachiyomi in the in depth review, please
Is it ten or 10.3 inch though? (Given it costs 200 dollars less, its not a big deal, but just for clarity. Goodereader says it's 10"
this color just an option for choose pen or not pen, the device only one color is black frame+navy blue like the picture or video
Boyue has now become meebook. I am very interested in the Meebook M6 and Meebook M7 and wondered if you has ant inclination to review either of these devices?
Hello, great to see you are looking at a Likebook.
I was really interested about them for their hand writing recognition who seems incredible in the past.
Can you check please if we can get right arabic worlds and get them reconized to export them in text format?
Hello, unfortunately i don't know arabic, so i am unable to test that.
@@MyDeepGuide
Hi, no need to know arabic to test writing recognition ;).
Just draw those symboles:
مرحبًا ، قناتك رائعة.
(Hello, your channel is great)
Or at least please show us the list of available language for this feature if they still keep it.
I hope it will be available on Amazon or someone will try this to know if we can finally avoid to use a keyboard for creating documents.
@Dreadnought 1997 Hi, no for what?
You can't check or arabic is not an available language for reconisation ?
Thanks.
@Dreadnought 1997 Thank you, no need to buy one to try.
When is the review coming
Likebook p10 or mobiscribe origin?
Hi Voya, we all waiting for the deep comparison review between P10 and Onyx Boox Air or Note 3
Hello, the in-depth review is coming out on Thursday. As for a comparison, since I have an in-depth review for all of the mentioned devices, those interested should be able to easily compare for themselves, after watching the videos.
Interest for the Likebook P10 is on the lower side, so I'll see how much interest there is when the in-depth review comes out. If it's sufficient, it might justify the time involved in creating a dedicated comparison video :)
Im interested with boyue p10, my question is, based from reviews i watched on RUclips, it said boyue p10 doesnt have wacom compatibility, so if the stylus broken i can only buy first party stylus or can i use any other stylus? And can the nib be replaced with regular wacom nibs replacement? Or its have to be from first party as well
Nope, no compatibility with wacom compatible pens or nibs, unfortunately.
*Sing* i realllyyyy wanted the white iphone!!!...
so for 7.8 likebook mars is 1404 x 1872 pixel (300 PPI) and this the screen is 1200×1600 and (200) PPI.. the 7.8 is more detailed than this true?
Yes.
Thank you, Voja!
But why would you suggest hitting someone's head with the device?
:)
Because it's heavy and strong enough to defend yourself, if you must :D :D :D
@@MyDeepGuide :D :D
It is not 10.3 inch! It is 10.0 and the resolution is 1600*1200 - 200 dpi - not 227 (Boox, or Likebook Alita)
Thanks for clarifying it :) No need to yell though ;) Either way, all of this will of course be covered in the review, as this was an unboxing.
@@MyDeepGuide
“The Likebook P10 features a 10.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with E INK Carta HD e-paper technology.
It has a resolution of 1200×1600 and 194 PPI. Also, it has 28 LED lights which offer a combination of white and amber, using for the front-lit display and color temperature system.”
Does this have an SD slot?
No.
@@MyDeepGuide thank you 😊
About the white/black options when you order, they have mentioned in Aliexpress page that the white option only means that the device will be shipped with a pen and black means it will be shipped without a pen. They only come in black though. When can we expect your full review of this device? I am planning to get one (mostly for reading scietific/engineering PDF books ) and I am just waiting for your final review. Thanks
Thanks, but it's a very unprofessional way to conduct business, wether they mention it or not. The option should say "bundle" not white :)
Review will come in a couple of weeks, because I am completely swamped with new devices and a bunch of in-depth reviews are in the queue, which always take a lot of time.
@@MyDeepGuide I totally agree!
Well... At least the cable was white. xd
where is the in-depth review?
Oh damn! I forgot to press the "Make in-depth review" button. No worries, I'll press it now and it'll be done all on it's own in no time at all :)
Joking aside, It's in the making, not done yet ;)
This seems like an Android alternative to the reMarkable 1.
Bonjour Voya, you are still doing a great job ! I'm sorry but despite the qualities of Likebook products, I no longer trust this brand because the after-sales service is absolutely non-existent, after 20 emails nobody moves to repair my Mars tablet that I loved (under warranty). I have the impression that it's a bot that keeps sending the same message over and over again ... have you ever had contact with them? I understand that the context with the covid does not make things easy ... but I feel like I wasted my money. From France.
Sorry to hear that, and thank you for sharing. My experience was communication via the AliExpress service center, and there they were very helpful and communicative, but then again, it was making a sale, not a customer support kind of a situation, so not applicable in this example.
Other than that, i have absolutely no experience what so ever, as i have never before owned a Boyue product, so we'll have to wait amd see how it turns out.
Si l'écran est défectueux, les réparations sont plus coûteuses que l'achat d'un nouveau.
Et le vendeur est responsable des garanties de l'UE.
What is so wrong in writing on glass, don't forget people use write with fountain pens and no one complained when the ball pen came
