    We need more people like you Rachel! I'm not an accountant I've completed a degree in 2013 not had an easy life so i took any job i could get. In those days was so hard to land a job in accountancy if not recommended. So i drifted away so far from the profession but the skills and memories remained and always admire an accountant. Good luck to everyone!

      Doing CIMA is best

    • @discoboy8169
      @discoboy8169 2 года назад +19

      ACA is better for the UK, especially if you work in accountancy firm, otherwise it is will be harder to pass due to requirements. They say that you will be not sitting 2 exams due to AAT lvl 4, but they have additional 2 exams. So no winning at all.
      ACCA and CIMA are more flexible and free from that concrete reuirements, they also have CBE and home exams now 4 times a year.
      ACCA is overall qualification having 4-5 routes in accounting, whil CIMA focused on Management and will not allow you to become an auditor..
      I don't much about CIMA exams, just seen the books, the theory there are same as in ACCA really.
      I prefer ACCA due to scope of all specialisms in the accounting and international position. ACA is almost same and as I said more prestigous in the UK, but your experience will mean more really, when you want get a job.
