Hi There from South Africa, sunny Cape Town! Thanks for the video! Great to see a fellow Afrikaans speaking person studying ACCA! I am in AS level, did my FR and now studying AA. (had exemptions for BT, FA, MA and LW) Honestly not sure if exemptions were the best thing. I did a BCompt Degree with UNISA, but i feel the standards with ACCA is just way way higher! Anyway, off to go watch some of you other videos!
Hi Conrad. You have the tax exam information in correct. The exam is 3 hours long and you cannot sit it any time you want. It is like the other exams which can only be sat in the 4 given exam windows throughout the year. I think you got this confused with the Law module which is in the Applied Skills section but is a CBE and is 2 hours long. Hope this clears thing up.
Hello, nice video. I have masters from BPP University but I haven't got a job yet perhaps because of lack of work experience. I have 9 exemptions, just the strategic level left. (I had a family breakdown than disrupted my career for 4 years and I am planning to brace up again soon) I would like a team to study with if you don't mind. Thanks for the knowledge
Hey i am from India and I am just giving my 12th exam boards ... So I am thinking to pursue ACCA ....so is it worth it for me ..or not. Or should I do graduation then do acca . And how and when can I complete 3 years job work experience...
I have no experience with accounting never worked in this sphere, now going to start my ACCA course. What do you think will it be more complicated if l do not work in accounting position while l study ACCA. I mean do l have to start working before l start my ACCA. Thanks for response🙏🏻
Quick question: in 5:58 3 years of relevant experience, I have an engineering degree looking to switch to finance, does that mean i dont get the certificate based off of i dont have finance experience?
Hi there. Here's the breakdown of relevant experience: 36 months' experience in one or more accounting or finance-related role. You would need to start in a finance related field in order to achieve the PER Objectives.
Hello brother, I have a question for you hope you will reply. Actually, I am studying business management where I study accounting / financial management like Basic subject in business management management so my question is after finishing my degree will I need to do any further course to sit for acca exam or I can do it by myself and just sit for exam.

Wise piece of advice I have received: First complete something before you start with another thing. Hope that helps :)

Hi there :), you can definitely do it by yourself! ACCA is a self-paced qualification.
hey do i need to do bachelors before doing acca or can i jump straight into acca ?
Yes you can go straight to acca
But a regular degree will be a plus point in ur career 😊
Or pursuee an distant degree with acca 😊
Straight to ACCA :) Go and read on the website as well (ACCA website)
