Hey. I have just discovered your channel(and subscribed). I appreciate your honesty comments on ACCA qualification. I am super keen on doing acca but I am being pressured to do the local qualification ( iam from Zambia). I am ready to put in all the hustle into my acca journey, but honestly i wouldn't say the same if I were to do the local qualification. Thank you for the work you are putting into these videos. Would you advice me to go for ACCA... as am currently doing reaserch about it. Am already 39yo. And i feel i don't wana waste anymore time on just teaching
If you have a degree in Accounting then you can most likely work at a business as an accountant? But age is just a number! If ACCA inspires you, then I fully suggest going into it. The opportunities are endless.
Wow your video is amazing. I am Nepali and currently studying local CA . But couldn't complete the 2nd level because sometimes the aggregate doesn't touches 50 and sometime fail in any 1 subject. My parents are saying me to leave CA and go abroad,so I agreed with there decision. But my dream is still to become CA so I am thinking to persue ACCA in qatar. So it is possible to manage everything by myself. To do registration myself, manage the books, manage the classes online and also the job
Thanks so much. Yeah, it would obviously depend on your ability to juggle different things at the same time but I have found for myself that balancing studying and work is possible. Goodluck!

i was doing some researches on ACCA then i came across this Wonderful content,i just completed my senior high school and now im planing to pursue this qualification.what advice can you give me
My local Chartered Accountancy course forces me to give either 4 or 8 exams together and the exams only happen once every 6 months. This has me stuck cuz I gotta clear them together (like 2 groups of 4 papers, so 4 papers together) and if I don't clear them all, I fail everything and have to give them again. I'm thinking of moving to ACCA since it'll let me give one exam at a time. Like in my last attempt I cleared 5 out of 8 papers but it doesn't matter since I didn't pass them all. Another reason I wanna move to ACCA is same as you, international opportunities. I don't wanna be stuck in one place forever.
Wow. That sounds terrible ! Yes move to acca. It’s much more flexible… obviously I can 100% recommend this because I don’t know your background. But from this info I’d suggest you do it.
Thank You for the insightful knowledge, i just have one question ,Are the exams vanue based or online? I did the last year of my degree online and it was frustrating so i am really looking for venue based exams now.
Nice video bro. I wish i saw this before i started few years ago. Its been a really frustrated journey so far. I failed a few exams and just got fed up and basically took almost 2 years off. Honestly trying to get the motivation to commit myself fully back. Any words of advice?

I don’t like having the mindset of “it’s going to be hard”, more like “it’s going to be challenging and worth it”. I am just about to finish my master degree in business administration, finished my bachelor in business as well and did 2 internships at EY (audit company). It was challenging, but that what kept me motivated. Now my goal is to become a consultant and open my consultancy business and my obvious path that I see now is the ACCA qualification. What are your thoughts?
in my country ICAI CA qualification is very hard like 10% pass rate compared to the ACCA which is flexible and a bit easy with 50% pass rate I was able to score 44 in my SBR in first attempt that too my second professional paper but ill try in my next attempt to pass the exam it is easier doing ACCA than CA in my country.

I 100% get you but you have to remember the ignorance debt you pay off in the short term. For example next year I’m going to be starting my online business and because I’ve been working with a degree now for the last 2 years I’ve managed to buy a couple of properties and also have enough savings for 18/24 months.

Do not give up! Keep doing past papers and do one exam paper at a time. That is what I did and now in the professional stage. Do not look at your friend you just do you. All the best.
hey there :), I felt exactly the same in my second and third years of studying. It was super tough like you mentioned and there were times when I just wanted to give up. A thought that helped me a lot was: If other people can do it (my immediate circle of friends and other people I knew) then I can as well. The only way to get good at this is by doing a lot of practice questions, so perhaps try that. But otherwise, I'll always be here cheering you on.
Hello, Conrad!! First and foremost, thank you for this educational video. I've been studying for the ACCA for 7 months. I passed the F1 and F2 papers and am now preparing for the F3. I'm curious how much papers I need to clear before looking for work.
Hi there, sorry for only getting back to you now :). Start looking for work asap, because either way you need 3 years of practical experience. Hope this helps!
Hello! I find the video helpful and informative at this moment. I am currently studying, and in a few months, I will be completing my bachelor degree. My university collaborates with the ACCA group. I don't need to pay for it; I have been working for more than 3 years, and my employer pays for both my ACCA studies and me. Do you think that my strong interest in accounting is enough to start? (btw I want to start for the same reasons as you!)
Am in my last year of high school and I want to go into account and finance and your video so helpful is there any advice you could give because I want to do a little advance studying
Haha, one thing i've learnt since then is that gaining "some" experience from working for another company actually helps a lot. Perhaps 2-3 years then you can do your own thing.
Hi Conrad, Thank you for this video. As someone who is currently doing Bcom Accounting at University of Fort Hare how do I convert to ACCA? They say I will qualify for 9 credits but I would like to know which institutions can I apply to for exams and the profesional skills module?
you don't need to convert your ongoing program with ACCA, it is easily done at home. all you need to do is register yourself on the portal, prepare for exams and then pass them.
Hi there! So excited for you. Get your degree first I suggest, then use that to get your exemptions. Enrol on the acca website and learn through learnsignal!
Hey Conrad, I wanted to ask your advice on something. I am a high school graduate and want to do ACCA but, with ACCA I want to pursue another complimenting bachelor degree while doing ACCA. So, I have to decide what degree to choose. I don't want to choose accounting because I will be doing it in the ACCA. Now, I can either do Finance or Business administration or Economics. Please tell me what you think and you can mention a degree that is not mentioned above.(my circumstances make it a must that I should study in an Uni so please dont advice against doing so)
That's the problem with Saica... If you don't come from an accredited institution you don't qualify. Yet with ACCA you can even get exemptions. I find it weird
I have more than 10 years experience in banking in the areas of foreign exchange and credit management in a public sector bank in India. How to get that into my PER as my work experience in ACCA? kindly advise.
I’m 23 going back to education after doing two business Alevels currently doing another Alevel AAC specific, would you advise going for ACCA once I’m 24 and finished my Alevel qual instead of a regular local accounting course? I also want to travel and move for work
HI Conrad, I've recently come across your content and I'm considering pursuing this accreditation. Question, did you first complete a degree in alignment with the qualification and if so were there any exemptions? follow up being, is there a way to gain acca accreditation without studying at a tertiary learning institution (ie. can you become a ca without a degree)?
Perhaps check for CIMA as it might be more well-recognised in the US. I've heard that they have partnered with the US and if you get your CIMA then you can be a practicing accountant there :)
hello I live in iran and I'm an student of audit master degree and work as an auditor and when I start my acca courses i would skip 4 steps. mostly because I want to immigrate to canada or uk as an accountant or auditor. do you recommend acca membership for me?
Hi I graduated last year and since then i am facing problems in getting job or its either they ask you to have higher degree or ACCA, CFA or CPA. So I’m planning to go for Acca but along with that im confused wether to go USA for masters or first do ACCA and then think of it. Please help me .
Hello, Where can l study my ACCA course online. I found only recorded video materials. Want to learn from tutor and ask my questions at that time. Do you know where can l find online study. Thank you
Well bro want to thx you for the video...is there really an advantage to do CA or ACCA in a world where IT and AI or computer related jobs are taking over
hi Conrad i really want your advice i want to pursue acca also i really like the idea of the international opportunities and versatile qualification i will be getting if i do this . i like accounts but sometimes i feel like what if the acca is not for me or what if i find it really difficult? how can i get out of this confusion?
Hi there :) The only way to get out of the confusion is to actually start. Lots of us have the tendency to overthink. I also thought I wouldn't like it but after a while, I started liking it. Also, what's the worst-case scenario? You can just switch to something else and treat it as an experiment for the time being.
Hi:) I have studied degree in accounting and I am thinking to start ACCA as my University offers exemptions for 9 papers. But I wonder if it is enough to do part time study about 3hrs a day since I’m thinking to start full time job in different industry, which is not related with accounting. The more I research abt Acca I’ve got close to realism. I’m very hesitating cos to get ACCA qualification, it requires much of money and I am not sure if I could balance the time to work and study at the sametime😅 I need your honest advice. Is my plan reasonable?
Hey there :) Strangely enough, I think we are very similar and have a lot in common. I am also working full time and is not directly aligned with accounting so per se. My motto in life is always that excuses are the crutches of the uncommitted. So, that being said - you can do anything you set your mind to and you will for sure be able to pass, you will just have to sacrifice other things in your life!

Hey man I have a question. Can I persue ACCA course and do good in the exams while being a Universiry student studying BBA? What is your opinion? Is it possible to ensure good grades simultaneously on both courses?
Hey, just curious, if you have a bachelor in accountancy and did the ACCA abroad would it be possible to find a job in the UK or Canada? Or will I have to do more education there or experience
Hi! I am an ACCA student from Pakistan and i just cleared fa 1 and ma 1 and i want to do ACCA from another country but we can't apply for acca in study visa then i thought about the conditional exemptions if i will do a Bs accounting and finance then my whole Afd will be exempt and also one paper of skill will also... I am so confused about it can you guide me what should i do because we can apply for another country after the membership of ACCA.???
so i just started acca i have not given any exam uptil now so i wanna now should i apply for exemptions by the way my foundation is not good but i do have a bachelor degree what should i do?
Apply for exemptions for sure! Remember if they give you an exemption at ACCA, they are basically saying “yep, you already know this” so just give yourself more credit :)
Hi, im currently living in uk, looking for job, but my past experience in india is accounting, but that doesnt work here. so thought of studying acca. what would be your suggestion.
Hi Conrad , I'm pursuing CA qualification of India (at the Final level), actually i was looking forward to enrolling for ACCA ( i will get 7 exemptions) should we pay upfront money for claiming exemption at the time of registering? Coaching that u would suggest ? Books u would suggest for preparation? Actually I've also completed 3 yrs of practical experience, can i get job abroad now so that i can pay for the exam myself?
Hi there. CA for India is extremely good. ACCA will be a breeze for you. Use LearnSignal, they are the cheapest. Exemptions, you pay after you apply for them or when you claim them I believe. ACCA will definitely make you more attractive to go abroad. Hope this helps!
Hi, yes for sure. You learn a lot about the inner workings of a business with ACCA. Auditing taught me good internal control procedures to implement, management accounting/performance management - great ways of analysing productivity within the business. Financial Management - great ways of analysing business opportunities.
What to do for work while studying ACCA to gain experience or simply just make some money while studying? I tried a 5 day per week 8 hour customer service job which is completely outside of my ACCA field of studies but it made me lose focus on the ACCA studies. I'm on RQF level 4 of level 1 FIA ACCA currently with one more paper to complete before i begin studying level 2 ACCA. Any guidance?
Hey there, I work for a school in the finance department. Go and work for a small audit firm. There you will pick up great experience and also make a bit of money :)
Hey can you please tell me shall i directly go for acca or shall i persuade it after holding degree in bs acc and finance ....plz answer me i have to admission
Go directly for ACCA. Like I said in the video it depends on your circumstances. What I mean by this is that if your country actually recognises you as a chartered accountant if you do ACCA. If they do then go ahead!🤓
If i get ACCA in Asian country then can i find a job in UK or USA ?I mean ACCA can get me a work visa, is there anything that would differentiate me from other people in this area that the UK would want me for?
I think if you try and get a job for the big 4 in Asia, then they could perhaps transfer you to their UK branches... I think something that can differentiate you is being super good at what you do 🤓
I'm definitely going to make a video about this topic because I genuinely believe in 80/20 ' ing everything. So, I try and spend the minimum time on my studying. Usually just an hour a day. Hope this helps.
Hey Conrad, insightful video. I know a lot of companies seek CA-route graduates more. What advice would you give non-CA accounting graduates who need experience when SAICA is currently king and ACCA is rarely recognised? (I’m a first year so I’m just trying to have a solid plan first 🫣)

I have more than 10 years experience in banking in the areas of foreign exchange and credit management in a public sector bank in India.
How to get that into my PER as my work experience in ACCA?
kindly advise.
Hi there, here’s a doc that I think will help
www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/pdf/0904.pdf
I’m 23 going back to education after doing two business Alevels currently doing another Alevel AAC specific, would you advise going for ACCA once I’m 24 and finished my Alevel qual instead of a regular local accounting course? I also want to travel and move for work
You mentioning travelling and work - go for ACCA, the faster you start the better :)
Hi thanks for your video I really enjoyed it.
Do I need any school degree or any other degree to start the acca?
www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/qualifications/glance/acca/minimum-entrance.html :)
HI Conrad, I've recently come across your content and I'm considering pursuing this accreditation. Question, did you first complete a degree in alignment with the qualification and if so were there any exemptions? follow up being, is there a way to gain acca accreditation without studying at a tertiary learning institution (ie. can you become a ca without a degree)?
i have just finished watching the video and realized you answered all my questions xD
Haha, message me on insta if you have any more :)
Is it worth doing ACCA? I mean I wanna migrate to the US and in the US CPA is valued more than ACCA. We don't have any CPA courses here in Tashkent.
Yes. Although it would be prudent to see what qualifications Canada prefer.
Hi
I graduated last year and since then i am facing problems in getting job or its either they ask you to have higher degree or ACCA, CFA or CPA. So I’m planning to go for Acca but along with that im confused wether to go USA for masters or first do ACCA and then think of it.
Please help me .
What does your current environment value?
Hello,
Where can l study my ACCA course online. I found only recorded video materials. Want to learn from tutor and ask my questions at that time. Do you know where can l find online study.
Thank you
Definitely check out Learnsignal.
Well bro want to thx you for the video...is there really an advantage to do CA or ACCA in a world where IT and AI or computer related jobs are taking over
Good video idea 💡
Hey, i like ur contents and the way u explain and i have a doubt....um can a student from science background can do acca?
Yes, if finance excites you and it's what you want to do with your life!
@@ConradBrink thnx bro
Hey Buddy i just wanna need ACCA F2 and F3 MCQ and Questions with its answers
Thank you
Just buy them :)
hi Conrad i really want your advice i want to pursue acca also i really like the idea of the international opportunities and versatile qualification i will be getting if i do this .
i like accounts but sometimes i feel like what if the acca is not for me or what if i find it really difficult? how can i get out of this confusion?
Hi there :) The only way to get out of the confusion is to actually start. Lots of us have the tendency to overthink. I also thought I wouldn't like it but after a while, I started liking it. Also, what's the worst-case scenario? You can just switch to something else and treat it as an experiment for the time being.
Hi Conrad, what do you think about DipIFR?
Would be a nice add-on to a CV but doubt it would move the needle as a standalone.
Hyy from India.. Could you please make video on acca journey.. Like wht mistakes should we avoid... Nd what things we should consider.... All... Please
Have lots of videos like that :) check them out on my page
Hey man I have a question. Can I persue ACCA course and do good in the exams while being a Universiry student studying BBA? What is your opinion? Is it possible to ensure good grades simultaneously on both courses?
Anything is possible. However, just know it is going to be difficult...
Is ACCA really for people wanting to end up in an accouting/ finance career alone? Or it opens doors for other fields as well.
Could open doors into any field you can imagine. People always need a money guy. No matter the industry.
Is AI going to kill accountant profession in near future?
No not at all. It will just be a tool.
I have completed my bachelor's degree in applied accounting oxford brokees..how do I I qualify for CA SA from here?
Are you doing self study completly or you have a private tutor? And also whih text books do you recommend frkm F1 to F3?
Hi there, I use Learnsignal and completely study by myself (self-study). Remember to do what works for you! If you need a tutor then get one. :)
Hey, just curious, if you have a bachelor in accountancy and did the ACCA abroad would it be possible to find a job in the UK or Canada? Or will I have to do more education there or experience
Yes for sure, if you are qualified then any country would love to onboard you. You might just have to work a bit harder but I mean that's easy.
Is conditional exemptions will be good for me or not?? And kindly tell me can I do ACCA from Canada after Afd??
hey i just finished my o levels and i didnt take accounting or commerce but im interested in acca what do i do now? im in Qatar btw
Hey there :) Start ACCA from the beginning. But I would suggest going to a local school in your area that helps with ACCA
hey, help to prepare f3 exam on 3rd october, what should i know before entering?
Practice as much as you can. Memorise the different definitions and accounting standards. But ultimately above all, practice as much as you can.
Which is good for an acca student for online classes and studying a laptop or a tablet
.??
You can do it online for sure. That’s what I do :)
so i just started acca i have not given any exam uptil now so i wanna now should i apply for exemptions by the way my foundation is not good but i do have a bachelor degree what should i do?
Apply for exemptions for sure! Remember if they give you an exemption at ACCA, they are basically saying “yep, you already know this” so just give yourself more credit :)
Im persuing an economics and Finance degree currently.. should I do cfa or acca
Depends massively on your circumstances! Send me a message on insta!
Did you ever consider other professional bodies such as CIMA or ACA
For sure did. Actually want to do CIMA next then Mba!
Iam also ACCA student i like your content 🎉
Thank you 🥰
Hi, im currently living in uk, looking for job, but my past experience in india is accounting, but that doesnt work here. so thought of studying acca. what would be your suggestion.
ACCA would be a good route. What are you interested in doing?
Hope this helps!
hi Conrad. Do you think ACCA has enabled you to better be a business owner? Entrepreneur
Hi, yes for sure. You learn a lot about the inner workings of a business with ACCA. Auditing taught me good internal control procedures to implement, management accounting/performance management - great ways of analysing productivity within the business. Financial Management - great ways of analysing business opportunities.
@@ConradBrinkgreat thanks. I am heir to my family business and only have engineering degrees. So I am doing ACCA now so I can sit on the board
Me watching video as a ACCA member🤣. Best of luck to all.
Love this. Joining you soon 😉

Sure thing. Whats up?
How many exams have you cleared so far ?
I'm finishing my applied skills level this December :) And you?
Is ACCA acceptable in USA as it is a UK degree ...and do ACCA get jobs and handsome salary packages in USA
See, the USA does not really accept ACCA for some reason. So I would perhaps look at other routes if you are planning to work there in the future! :)

What is the exam pattern? Is it mcq or subjective?
For which level?
for skill and professional level?@@ConradBrink
for all 3 levels@@ConradBrink
What to do for work while studying ACCA to gain experience or simply just make some money while studying? I tried a 5 day per week 8 hour customer service job which is completely outside of my ACCA field of studies but it made me lose focus on the ACCA studies. I'm on RQF level 4 of level 1 FIA ACCA currently with one more paper to complete before i begin studying level 2 ACCA. Any guidance?
Hey there, I work for a school in the finance department. Go and work for a small audit firm. There you will pick up great experience and also make a bit of money :)
Much appreciated. Opened my mind up to new ideas there.@@ConradBrink
Which did you before the acca
Bcom Accounting
Hey can you please tell me shall i directly go for acca or shall i persuade it after holding degree in bs acc and finance ....plz answer me i have to admission
Go directly for ACCA. Like I said in the video it depends on your circumstances. What I mean by this is that if your country actually recognises you as a chartered accountant if you do ACCA. If they do then go ahead!🤓
Does acca have really good potential to travel the world ?
For sure does
Can elderly age become an obstacle to pursuing ACCA?
Hi, yes most definitely. In my exam room this June; there were 2 people in their late 50s. So anyone can and you should as well!
No. It is not an obstacle. I m over 50 and pursuing it.
@@Tulip879 . Amazing Sir! You're a true inspiration.
So, when did you start?
can i get a job in accounting without a long duration qualification
if do please recommend
Well, ACCA doesn't take too long to get. I would suggest it as it would take around 3-4 years depending on your tolerance for studying! :)
How Tution fee per subject
Depends a lot
Can a 11 class student do this course
Ahhh I'm not to sure what this means? Could you elaborate? :)
Maybe he meant as an student of 11th grade
If i get ACCA in Asian country then can i find a job in UK or USA ?I mean ACCA can get me a work visa, is there anything that would differentiate me from other people in this area that the UK would want me for?
I think if you try and get a job for the big 4 in Asia, then they could perhaps transfer you to their UK branches... I think something that can differentiate you is being super good at what you do 🤓
Is a degree in accounting better than a acca
If it was you wouldn't be here.
It depends massively! What kind of industry do you want to go into?
Haha, love you but let us not be mean! :)
How much an acca earns
I’ll do so sir 😊
@gauthapandithfor an entry level job we need a degree
is acca worth it or not plz reply@gauthapandith
Sir OBU degree is going to Expire after 2026 is it okay to get the degree ?
If you qualify for it, yess!!!! :)
ACCA is worth it? For international
Definitely.
@gauthapandith why did you say that any reason ?
@@toxicpeepshe is just jealous of acca
@gauthapandithis acca worth it or not
How many hours of study in a day would be optimal and how many days do you study in a week
(I’m a first year so I’m just trying to have a solid plan first 🫣)
Thanks for the comment! Give me more context, like are you studying to do the CA(SA) route or ACCA? 😊
