  • Today we are talking about the total cost of ACCA qualifications.
    I will break down how much does it cost to become an accountant in the UK with ACCA.
    I had to make several assumptions into consideration as everyone will have different circumstances and possibly might get sponsorship and/or be fully/partly covered by the employer.
    ACCA is accounting qualifications and it gives you Chartered Certified Accountants Certificate (after which you can put ACCA letters after your name).
    I am an ACCA qualified accountant and I am here to help you through your ACCA journey, so if you have any questions please do ask.

    Hi Agnes, thank you for this informative video, just wanted to ask a question, I had 8 exemptions from uni with one applied skills exam left. Once starting the P level papers would you suggest brushing my knowledge on the basics from previous exams or going straight into the revision I.e SBR & SBL (I’m using accwtancy also) 😊

    • @AgnesMann
      @AgnesMann  3 года назад +1

      I would suggest to juts go with the lessons followed by revisions, so don't jump right into revision withough going through the lessons first. However this will also depend how long ago you had studied and how well you remember things you have learned. I had 3 years gap in studies and did not go back brushing on my old topics, just went forward learning new things and the basics kind of came back to me as I was learning new things. I hope this helps and thank you for your comment. good luck

    Hi Agnes, thanks for the precise information in your video. I have done AAT Level 2 & 3 and currently studying AAT Professional Level 4, so how may exemptions do you think I can claim if I pursue ACCA qualifications. Normally how long does it take to complete ACCA qualifications? Thanks.

    • @AgnesMann
      @AgnesMann  3 года назад

      Glad it was helpful! As to the exemptions the only way to find out is by getting in touch with ACCA as they have to do some checks before confirming I believe. But I am pretty sure at least first 3 papers you should be able to be exempt from. As to the timeframe, it really depends on so many factors that it is difficult to establish. ACCA claims students should be able to complete ACCA in 3 years (on average) so I guess they have a big database to have such information, but it took me 3 years for complete just my P papers. Thank you for watching and I wish you good luck

      you are not comparing apples to apples. ACCA is not a masters but a qualifications and can be done with self studies with no teachers involved. For MBA you would need to attend university and have several tutors. Hence the price would vary. Thank you for your comment and I am guessing you are doing/ have done/ will be doing MBA?

    How can i get job in Uk from Nepal?

      First thing would be to look online for the jobs and also figure out if the employer would be happy to go through working visa with you. I would advise also speaking to recruitment agents in Nepal. Tbh we have really difficult times to look for a job as yet but the job market is slowly picking up. Good luck

I won't think that It's possible for me to arrange visa etc for you to bring you here in the UK to work in my just starting Real Estate Business. I am not sure (never thought about it before!) whether it's possible for you to work for me from Nepal. I am actually seeking/requiring a UK Property Tax Accountant to work me immediately (or by June/July 2021).
