I had the same thing as well that read home currently unavailable and none of the apps are gone or didn’t even show up so I tried resetting factory defaults and it erased everything so I just basically need the email and password of Amazon from my provider I mean I shouldn’t done that in the first place and in the living room it read critically low storage available I’m like why it pop up I had the fire stick for only 5 months and the ott navigator took up most of the megabytes
Factory resetting should remove all accounts from the device, but when you add back your Amazon information, it will pull back up your information that is connected to you. But this would work if you needed to sell it, give it away, etc. and you wanted to get your stuff off of there. Good question and thanks for reaching out / commenting! - DIYNate

Unfortunately, there isn't an easy way to fix it once the video is up (would be great if they would let us edit a video without having to take it down after publishing - certainly a lot of times I would go back and fix things based on feedback). Yes - this is to reset the whole firestick. I have seen some other good videos on resetting the firestick remote as well. A bit of a different process but has a lot of similarities as you can imagine. The key with the remote seems to be around removing the batteries and resetting it. - DIYNate
Hope you got it fixed. If you can’t get anything to work, trying to take the batteries out of the remote and unplugging the power from each end and letting it rest / dissipate the charge for a bit may help.
