On my firetv stick 4k. I correct the issue by removing the OTG cable and power the stick directly. I thought maybe my OTG cable was bad. So I tried a new cable but the problem returned. Removing the OTG cable from my firestick 4k the problem was solved. I was using OTG cable to expand the storage of firestick.

I had the bootloop problem today. I tried everything possible, including factory resetting and nothing worked. I popped in on your video, hoping for a miracle, as you channel is a lifesaver. But today it didn't work. The problem wasn't with the Firestick, it was the TV. I had to do a complete factory reset on my TCL television, to get the HDMI ports to read the Firestick. I've saved this video as a reference in case this problem does in fact come up, saw too many people having the issue on forums with no real solutions, but I referenced you as a guidepost for others who need help.

But what I noticed is that it seems like the keyboard does not get power. So the keystroks are useless. The small light on the keyboard does not light up when connected and powered with the otg cable. The keyboard lights up when I connect to my usb port on my pc. Any thoughts about this problem`? I have the same problem. I think the design of my OTG cable is defective in that it does not allow the male USB connector for the keyboard to plug in far enough into the female USB connector on the adapter.

I have a 2nd Gen FireTV (not firestick) it boots to the Amazon logo the the screen goes to snow flashes then it could go to a GREEN screen then back to a snow screen. I tried ALT PRT SCREEN and toggle "i" without luck. I have done all the other things like change the power supply, HDMI cable without luck and I didn't think they would have done anything since the cables are verified as good. I have a 4K stick (2018 build) which is on a boot logo problem, I tried your fix but unfortunately like you mentioned in your video this option is not a “fix all”. You said you have two that you cannot get restarted. The difference I have with mine against the one you fixed is mine goes one step further in that the red blaze comes across the logo but it goes no further. I connected the usb end of the power cable to my laptop to be used as the power source. The fire stick turned on showing the fire tv logo on my tv however even after pressing the 3 keys it the attempt was unsuccessful. Is using the laptop as the pose source and the keyboard the reason why?

What if you only have a mini keyboard, where you have to hit the function button for printscreen. The issue is that the i button function is also a different keystroke?

Hi. Do I need to do anything to get a USB keyboard to connect to the Firestick? I purchased an OTG adapteur, using the Firestick plug as the power source the Firestick plugged into the TV. Maybe the keystroke solution only works when the Firestick is connected to a PC? The keyboard does work btw although the light doesn’t come on when plugged inti a USB plug or through the OTG adapteur so that made me wonder how the Firestick will recognise the keyboard. I’ve tried everything else (shame the remote control hard reboot doesn’t even work) so I’m hoping this works but obviously not if the keyboard isn’t connected haha.

Aside from the solution not reported to work for all faulty sticks (so it could be that) I’m wondering if it’s worth plugging the stick into an independent socket rather than using a multiple plug adapter since it might not be getting enough power to power the usb keyboard. Failing that though I think the stick is destined to be binned.

Hi mate that's a great fix for boot loop but have you got one for firestick stuck in the Profile screen, I have too firestick 4K and the 4K max both when into Profile screen after amazon update. It's not like a boot loop at all.

Hi. Do I need to do anything to get a USB keyboard to connect to the Firestick? I purchased an OTG adapteur, using the Firestick plug as the power source the Firestick plugged into the TV. Maybe the keystroke solution only works when the Firestick is connected to a PC? The keyboard does work btw although the light doesn’t come on when plugged inti a USB plug or through the OTG adapteur so that made me wonder how the Firestick will recognise the keyboard. I’ve tried everything else (shame the remote control hard reboot doesn’t even work) so I’m hoping this works but obviously not if the keyboard isn’t connected haha.
I have the same problem with the keyboard. When he plugs his in it lights up!! Mine still seems dead when plugged into the OTG cable?? The keyboard and the OTG cable are both good!.
Aside from the solution not reported to work for all faulty sticks (so it could be that) I’m wondering if it’s worth plugging the stick into an independent socket rather than using a multiple plug adapter since it might not be getting enough power to power the usb keyboard. Failing that though I think the stick is destined to be binned.

I bought a 2-pack of OTG cables and neither one works. The keyboard is not getting any power. It seems that the male USB connector on the keyboard does not go into the female OTG connector on the cable far enough to make a power connection. Is the OTG cable defective? How can I get the keyboard to power on?

How does this work with the fire to cube? Even with the otg connector, nothing powers up any of the 4 keyboards I’ve tried! TIA

Spoke to Amazon about the problem, they know it’s their fault. Say the techs are trying to resolve the problem. Doesn’t help me though, I asked for a new cube, they don’t seem to want to send a replacement 🤦♂️
Amazon knows about the issue and they allow it to happen, which? Ease. People keep throwing them away to buy new ones

For sale...2, 2nd gen cubes, 1, 4Kmax, and a couple 4ks. I have 2 Nvidia Shields and they don't have all these side effects...searching for a 3rd one. Might wait and see if they come out with something new. Oh, and I also bought a couple Onn 4K boxes just to say I did and they run as good as any 4K fire stick I've owned...just not as many bells and whistles. I'm done with amazon gadgets.

Hi mate that's a great fix for boot loop but have you got one for firestick stuck in the Profile screen, I have too firestick 4K and the 4K max both when into Profile screen after amazon update. It's not like a boot loop at all.
Is there a similar method of curing this problem on a firecube?

Hi - Have you any solution to fix a fire tv cube which is stuck on boot loop? It seems that the USB does not power up the keyboard until 20 seconds or so into the Five TV page - so I assume that's why I cant get into safe mode.
Can I get the link to purchase the USB device to connect to the keyboard?
