I had the high honor of interviewing BB once, and he was everything you would want him to be. Immeasurably modest, genuinely unaware of his legendary status, and generous to a fault with his time. One of the greatest of the greats..& as long as his music is played, the thrill will never be gone. rip.
My daddy played with him on Beale Street in Memphis. I’d like to think they’re playing together again over in that better world. He passed away two years ago. I miss him every day so much. 🥹
Me and my pal were volunteer stage security weenies at one of his smallish-venue shows in 1986 and got to meet him/the band in the hospitality suite after the show. Super nice dude, an international music star, just played for 90-minutes who's chill enough to down a few Heinekens with show volunteers. Huge soft hands. I could have but didn't ask for his autograph. The all-time music moment is safely indelibly archived in my head forever.
My God! I’ve seen this hundreds of times and it NEVER stops amazing me. My father is The Fantastic Johnny C (Boogaloo Down Broadway) and he absolutely loved BB King. I do too. What a blues genius.🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️
BB seems to always get right; that’s why when I want to meet my soul, in music, I turn to him; this song expresses a deep feeling that I have for you; my friends, family, and FB family. If you can imagine; the blues are about our experiences of life and where we want to go: HAPPY HOLIDAY IN PEACE AND GOOD WILL.
That how I feel, too! It’s an experience without tension: You just know BB can’t go wrong! I also love how he manages to surprise you with unusual twists and breaks…
You are and will always be the King of The Blue's. Your always in my prayers found out your in Hospice. I'm 47,my Granddad had me listening to your music every since I was a lil boy.may God always smile upon you.your music helped Alot of people through tough times in Life and Relationships. I'm MarioCarter one of your Biggest Fans!!!
Wow what a performance. One of my favorite live performers and a living national treasure. I saw him twice live. He rolled up to the side of the stage in his Wheel chair. Then two people escorted him to his chair center stage with his guitar. Then he opened up with a slow song and was story telling about diabetes. You laughed and cried at the same time because of his quick wit and humor but sincere lamentation about his humbling disability. He is the only live performer that I can think of that is that personal with his audience even though you went for the music initially. You really walk out of his shows with a new life and full of positive energy like it was an upbeat religious service.
God Bless BB!! Your Talent and personality and your passion to teach your art will be missed, but hopefully your students will continue to pass on your lessons for generations to come!
Great, man.. thanks a lot for the upload, and all the other parts of the show.. english is not my native language, and I'm having a bad time trying to figure out what he says at the beginning "I have a little special..." until he ends, with "..dream" I get most of it, but not some words.. if someone could solve my doubt I'd be much thankful
Well, english isin't my native language either, so I can't tell for sure, but I hear something like this. "I have a little special tune I liked to do for you. If you have yours, set it a little closer to you. If you didn't bring yours with you, and you didn't borrowed somebody else, then do like we do up here... dream".
God…Bless…MR BB KING…November the 8th 2024…from The Texas Hill Country…Hanging On.

Oh yeah never
What a great key change at 4:20! Shiver inducing.
Every single note and nuance is perfect. He said he wanted to emulate slide players, but he invented a style all his own
Agreed.. Pure magic
There's a better world somewhere and BB king is there :)
Bless BB King,such a cool dude❤

This was on satellite radio on my drive home and it just brought back good and bad memories. I couldn’t wait to get home to play it again real loud.

My Dad and I would watch him on guest appearances on Johnny Carson. WHAT A TALENT!
At 6:55 that’s the best thing best true expression of the feeling of blues that’s ever been captured. It’s amazing.

Crazy, this is how I feel. If I need inspiration with my music I immediately listen to Deuces Wild on repeat.
That how I feel, too! It’s an experience without tension: You just know BB can’t go wrong! I also love how he manages to surprise you with unusual twists and breaks…

Sometimes I wonder
Just what am I fighting for?
I win some battles
But I always lose the war
I keep right on stumblin'
In this no-man's land out here
But I know
Mm yes, I know
There must be a better world somewhere
Flying high
Some joker clips my wings
Just because he gets a kick
Out of doing those kind of things
I keep on fallin' in space
Or just hangin' in mid-air
But I know
Oh yes, I know
There has just got to be a better world somewhere
Every woman I want
Only wants herself
Everybody I love
Seems to love somebody else
And every woman
Got a license to break my heart
And every love, oh it's over
Over before it gets a chance to start
If it ain't dead
Maybe in the year after
Instead of tears
I'll learn all about laughter
But meanwhile I'm stuck out here
It just ain't fair, but I know
I said I know
Oh yes, I know
There must be a better world somewhere
There's just gotta be
Gotta be a better world somewhere

¡Qué maravilla! ❤
R.I.P Legend
This sounds like a medley of two songs
Incredible example of consummate entertainer
He went back for the guitar!!!!! I like my guitar too... but I'm not B.B. what a man.
RIP BB
one year gone. :(
RIP
Should put "Guess Who" in the title as well, considering this is two songs. Would've missed one of my favorites had I not clicked!
so I heard too
sometimes I wonder just what am I fighting for ? I win some battles but I always lose the war
