I know he's known mostly as a guitar player but man that dude could SING.

Anybody who knows anything about singing knows BB was one of the most soulful singers to ever live.
No doubt! Most singers are about 3-6 inches away from a vocal microphone on a loud stage like that. He's 2-3 feet or more off the mic at times. That man had some PIPES!

I disagree though you have a good argument. Johnny Winter and Buddy Guy are the best in my humble opinion followed by Alvin Lee and Luther Allison.

I watched, and yes, he is the greatest. At times, his playing, the way he attacks the strings, It's like a river of fire, 100 years of blues history flows through him at all times. the overall sound that he pulled from his instrument, its so full and rich, you can literally swim in it. there's tears in my eyes right now, no kidding.
The crowd that gathered that night--what a crowd! they were more than ready to see BB King, that's for sure! you can really feel the excitement, the electricity throughout the whole show.

I am kicking myself for not seeing BB in concert in London in 2011. He was my main influence on Blues music and my idol. One person I wanted to see in concert.
A master showman in a day when entertainers connected with their audiences, and audiences appreciated good entertainers.
Still listen to this is 2019. And will for years to come. Amazing

The first show that i saw mr. B.B.King was in early 80's on rio de janeiro. after the first, i had the opportunity and went to more 5 shows. all of them marvelous. salute the the king of blues, mr bbking

BB King is a great roll model for all people. I wish young people would watch him and the the love coming from his heart. I meet BB several times and he is one nice person.

Great concert by the blues master. BB´s sound and intensity on the guitar is unbelieveable, together with "live in Africa", this concert is one of my real favourites.
