BB's old film clips are very important to me. 1971 was when BB's career was just starting to take off. The blues was becoming very popular and he won a Grammy for "the Thrill is Gone" in 1970. In 1971, He recorded the Cook Jail album. BB was using a fuller band section but it was smaller than the BB King Big Band that Cal Owen would lead in the latter 70s. I see Wilbert Freeman (Bass), Sonny Freeman (Drms)and Ron Levy (Kybd) are in the band at this time. BB was not only a great guitarist and vocalist, but also had a broad range of musical interest, esp. jazz) that he kept well hidden. He was a pretty good jazz guitarist, but that was kept hidden. He had Leon Warren as his second guitarist and he played a lot of the style that BB loved.
To hear and see BB at his full powers is electrifying. Even if you could not hear, the joy and expressions on his face tells the tune. There will never be another BB ❤
I weep with gratitude when the audio of performances as sublime and significant as this, are so well recoreded. Thank you Farkle Berry. LONG LIVE THE KING!

Choose the title: Walking Dr. Bill / I Need My Baby / Ninji Baby... It also has a lot in common with So Excited (especially the live incarnation). It's great fun comparing versions of this one, you'll find huge differences. Have fun :)

I never saw him play live and I missed the last time he was in London @ the Royal Albert Hall - What a Blues Player he was and also a humble man ❤

@@maciejgeming8555 thanks 🤠
Bb king could have made it as singer, his singing is as least as good as his guitar playing.
