    i love this so much! Would you say Atabey and Yaya are one in the same? I ask because they were defined separately and I got a little confused

    Thank you. I was just wondering, your hello sounds similar to the Garifuna mabuiga. Which also means hello. Are the languages related or just a coincidence?

      Hello! Yes, that is correct. Garifuna and Taíno are related. Garifuna began in the Caribbean and is one of our sister languages!     I’m a new subscriber and this so helpful for a book I’m creating since my parents are Haitian immigrants and our culture has a lot of Taino influences. Do you think you can talk about different hairstyles that our ancestors had or was it only hair down?

    Because I was uneducated I am allowed these doctors to remove my inside and now I have a lot of problems as a female
