Aside from Zach I loved the strain every season. Because it brought vampires in a different direction than shows like vampire Diaries, True Blood and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. At least the vampires in the strain are new and yet also closer to their original roots as described in old lore, best of all though the show gave TV viewers a well needed and deserved break from all the damn Zombie apocalypse shows.
The creators wanted the last season to be different. That last season is what blade 2 was supposed to be actually if they stuck with the original ending for the movie 😂
I really wish the music composed for shows was released more often. The master's theme is quite memorable, but impossible to find outside of the show itself...

Although at first I meant to watch only one or two seasons, because in the books Palmer dies at the very beginning, but I was pleasantly surprised when Palmer there until the end though Palmer was change to Master. I'm happy with everything... except Zach. Okay, admittedly Palmer's Master version isn't particularly scary, but I still like it. Especially the ears, almost like an elf ears. XD

Zach was soo awful but it didnt have to be that way the original Zach (Ben Hyland) was great from season one then they have a brain fart and replaced him with this moron Max Charles and turned him into a show killing asshole. The only thing I remember being just as awful was that Seven kid from Married With Children but at least they had the good sense to write him off after a season.
