    I think Clownslayer need thing like indigo. When unit stunned, she don't target it. If not stunned or can't be stunned she attack every 2 sec. 6 sec delay is joke

    S3 idea: It prioritizes attacking a mob that has not been attacked in the last 6 seconds (she will not wait if there isn't anything else)
    increase crowd control duration to 6 seconds
    then she can permastun 3 mobs or less within her skill duration

    There's still a big problem with skill 2: Almost every ranged enemy can hit Crownslayer from outside the smoke, perforating her anyway.
    I disagree with skill 3, I'd take it the complete opposite direction. Target random with lowest DEF, keep the stun, tweak the attack frequency. Make her anti-levitation, and clear out quite a few types of mages who can normally kill Ethan in the same scenario. Also makes her good at killing clowns.

      Skill 2 is good. Her talent 1 needs to be at least 80% for her support gimmick to be viable.
      Her Skill 3 is the least useful with the 6 second condition. Would be better if it is removed and the addition of max HP priority helps for chip damage on elites while doing support.

      @@ThaDude As I said, none of that dodge is going to matter since most ranged units can shoot from L distance and the really dangerous ones have huge range.
      You can deploy her directly on them, but then they'll walk out of the aoe damage, and the long range ones don't HAVE deployable tiles a lot of times.
      And if you were going to rely on the 1 block to keep them there, S1 will do the job just fine.

      @@benedict6962 so? So does Flametail's dodge decrease when her skill ends. The only bad thing in her kit is talent 1 because her kit revolves around it. If it is 80% accuracy debuff she would be fun to use. She is an FRD that want to stay as long as possible to support the team.

    A big thing I would change with her S3 is make it "Increase attack interval to 2 seconds", not "attack every two seconds". This let's her benefit from ASPD buffs that are often in play, especially in IS. Sure it's not MEANT to be her DPS skill but I think CS might be the only operator in the game that has a skill which ignores ASPD.
    Also I would point out your graph of CS vs Red is slightly misleading as it accounts for CS NOT taking damage and her talent kicking in. If CS gets poked by anything Red does about the same DPS up until about 1k enemy defense.

      Talent 1:
      If crownslayer is deployed within a 2 tile radius from a hole, crownslayer is pulled towards the hole with significant force, dealing damage to enemies in the path. Ignores obstacles and redeployment time is halved.
      Talent 2:
      Deals 150% atk damage to clown enemies.
      Sad part is that I genuinely believe more people would raise her if hg did an overtly troll kit for her like this.

    These would be great ideas to buff any other operator with the same kit, but HG making Clownslayer (the most bully-able boss) playable, and making her an absolute girlfailure with a total trainwreck of a kit, is extremely funny on a conceptual level and any change that makes her less useless would make that less funny.

    I like her kit but my biggest issue is that it doesn't do enough for the uptime it has.
    So either we buff her damage output and make her on par with Texalter and Kirin Yato; which would indeed be bad.
    Or we increase her uptime to allow a new interesting playstyle.
    I would argue Skill 3 should be an infinite duration skill.
    The range of her skill combined with her talent 1 makes it perfect for allies to deploy in and block enemies within her range.
    This will provide them with the smokescreen effect forever and allows CS to periodically deal damage as an AFK skill.
    Since blockers are keeping enemies in her range, she has higher damage output against them over time.
    If she then prioritizes enemies using special abilities that would give her a bigger niche.
    Like for examples:
    A bind caster, binding you blocker preventing them from blocking; CS could stun that caster and free your blocker.
    Or a defense crusher or stun sniper about to stun your operator; CS could stun cancel their skill.
    For this purpose CS might need to be immune to enemies immunity to stun but only up to elites. Meaning she would be able to stun regardless of their immunity.
    Letting her hit aerial units would also be fine.
    This way she can keep the stun; alleviating potential damage and effects on your blocking units.
    Slightly less effective against boss units but a little jab at the fact she too was a less effective boss early game.
    Not every 6star operator in this game needs to be designed as a solo operator.
    Having synergies with other operators is a good thing.
    This skill 3 change allows her to be paired with anyone without restrictions.
    It provide her talent as a passive buff to allies and do her job, damaging enemies while the enemies slowly but surely die in her range.

    I mostly agree with all of it.
    I prefer she has less taunt in S2, that way she can dish out the accuracy debuff for the full duration. And this accuracy debuff turns your team into a damage sponge so the taunt isn’t needed.
    We could change the set 2 second attack to an “increase attack interval” that modifies it to 2 seconds. Generally this doesn’t change anything, but this gives Crownslayer the opportunity to capitalize on attack speed buffs. I also prefer the stun over bind, mostly because if S3 was bind it just competes with Ethan even more and no one can beat Ethan bind. Sure I can’t use her against bosses, but bosses are becoming more gimmicky where bind doesn’t really help either. Lappland boss is a good example.

    skill 2 should've been a talent or maybe even a passive effect where every time she is not deployed on a smokescreen, she creates one instead of being deployed, and her next redeployment time is reduced by half.

    Alright, here's some fixes to SUPAHs fixes:
    First of all, you seem to be confused about Crownslayers role, she's not a FRD Dodge tank because she's not supposed to be hit in the first place, her talent 1 gives the enemies the Acuracy Reduction in her range and that means that they are the ones getting debuffed, so her actual role is to make your team the dodge tanks, it wouldn't make any sense that she was the tank because she's weak and her only survivability tool is the god damned RNG Talent, the moment she get's killed her talent will instantly stop working, it's not like Ines that has perma MVSP reduction and invisibility reveal on retreat. Regarding her Talent 1, I would buff the number to be 50% base, If she's not supposed to be and DPS like HG wanted, then it's laughable that her utility niche only has 25% of working with the module, there's almost 0 chance that she will have an use in late game content with those numbers.
    On Skill 1, I agree that she should get a way to still deal dmg to high DEF enemies like getting DEF Shread/Ignore or straight up putting Red's talent like you said and also a higher +ATK%, because I would hardly call a skill with just 1300+ ATK and nothing more a DPS skill, a 6 Star being weaker than their lower rarity counterparts shouldn't be a thing. About giving her Taunt to her S1 and S2, it doesn't make sense like I said earlier and she's also a FRD, if you play her like any other FRD, she's always the last operator deployed, making Taunt redundant on the arquetype itself. You also say that she get's a lower Dodge chance on S1 compared to S2, but you forgot that her Talent 1 also activates with her Skill 1, even though Accuracy Reduction and Dodge chance 'stack' multiplicatively, S1 ends up matching the same percentage of avoiding dmg of Skill 2 with arguably 'higher' damage, it's just that Crownslayer herself would be the only one getting that percentage while your team only gets 25%. This is just a meme but for Skill 1, my idea would be making her S1 an infinite skill, just like Hoshiguma and Eunectes Skills, that way she would atleast get something unique to her arquetype (probably my worst take until now).
    To avoid repeating myself on Skill 2, I'll only say that I agree with you on that she should have a better Talent 1 so we can have a FRD Flametail that gives your allies that same chance.
    Your changes on Skill 3 didn't make sense until you explained why you were doing them, certainly a CC operator that specializes on stopping bosses wouldn't be a bad idea, but that would limit her in any other scenario. Skill 3 is very hard to fix and I don't have a really focused aproach like you, so I'll take the L on this one, but what I do have though are some ideas in how I would change the skill (these don't have to apply at the same time):
    *Make the dmg she deals one instance instead of two, this way she could deal a decent amount of dmg to high DEF enemies.
    *Giver her +ATK%, +50% would be enough with the %dmg of the skill and her second talent.
    *Change the limit of 6 seconds without attacking the same enemy to 4s so she can permastun anyone without getting stuck on a single enemy, this one is a must in imo.
    *While Bind is great thanks to being the CC with less immunity in the game, I think she should still have the capability of stopping enemies attacks, so I would give her Fear with like 60% MVSP reduction so they don't get outside her range instead of bind, Fear being in some way a new form of 'shifting' enemies, even if they have 1 morbillion weight she can still fear them while stopping their attacks. It would also fit the relationship she has with the Shifters in the game, the only bad thing about giving her Fear is that the enemies will start to have immunity to it sooner or later.
    *There's also a way to work around the 6s limit without outright eliminating it, and that would be giving her True AoE
    Stun in her Talent's range, just like Red the Year 0 5 Star operator.

Also its cause I like playing weirdknights like example: rosmontis devices, jessical alter devices, logos stop projectiles skill 3, angelina weight reduction gravity.
      But man CS is a weird op with weird kit in a hot mess way, just like what Supah said "its like different devs work on her or sth", her kit contradict against herself, against her archtype, against her tag, her mere existence is a joke from lore to gameplay its just sad. Theres even some rumor her banner wil be on april on global schedule if thats true thats true tragic

    Easiest way I think they can "fix" her is to make it so that her smoke reduces enemy atk by like 30-50%, that way she can improve her niche of improving surrounding allies' survivability by being an FRD Shamare

    I don't agree with the S2 analysis
    S1 is the ST damage skill
    S2 is the AOE damage skill that basically gives a 60% dodge to your defender (and the 500% dmg + her talent makes it the stronget aoe single hit from all FRD opes ATM)
    Her main "unique" characteristic is her smoke screen and her identity is to be evasive, not to be a tank or lightning rod. As a boss she evaded your blockers and as an operator she makes the opponent miss in general, not just her.
    She's supposed to debuff opponents while surviving in the middle of them.
    A module that dignificantly increases her smokescreen miss amount would make her VERY strong, if it gets close to 100% miss change you would get a "the enemy doesn't do damage anymore" debuff every time she's deployed.
    Also her S3 doesn't do "little damage" it basically kills any small troops.
    Also Ethan gets killed, while CS is effectively inmortal for the full 16 freaking seconds.
    16 seconds of dealing damage and CC while they can't be one-shoted (like Texalter o Yato are sometimes) and ALSO perma-CC'ing an unit would actually turn her into an absolute beast of a support unit. Damn, even the full damage dealt to a single unit would make her a really good damage dealer and staller, imagine that in a full FRD team just stalling the boss for 16 seconds with CS.
    Not saying that it would be beyond broken but would require all bosses from now on to become bind inmune too.
    Her identity is to support your tanks and disrupt the enemies, not to kill bosses or be a CC unit or a tank.
    I think she gets fixed by:
    1.Increasing her miss chance talent to 40%:
    -S1 becomes a godly tanking skill and actually becomes better than Gravel and Red with 1 skills since her dodge and miss chance would stack.
    -S2 now makes enemy groups to be unable to do damage to your entime team (100% miss chance).
    2.making her CC more reliable maybe? Maybe adding an slow to her smokescreen so you don't break some of the game with perma-bind. Also a fragile debuff to enemies in her smokescreen would be awesome and it would help her to keep being always better than Red in the damage department.
    -S2 and S3 now bring a slow in big areas, specially S3 since she can't be targeted anymore and the AOE is bigger + the stuns.
    3.I would also remove the 6 seconds restriction of S3 or at least reduce it to 4 seconds. I guess the idea is to make the skill feel less random since you want it to reliably hit in a certain way for your auto-deploy so with up to 3 enemies entering her smoke you can "control" how she'll move even with a "random" skill.
    I think the fragile effect on the smokescreen would also work for this.
    Or maybe add an special debuff that makes CC last longer in her smokescreen.
    TL;DR.-
    My focus is to make her smokescreen better since it's her main mechanic, I think that increasing the dodge and adding a fragile debuff (and MAYBE an slow) would solve all her problems.
    He damage seems to be decent so a higher miss chance and increasing your entire team damage against enemies in her area would make her a GREAT support unit.
    Specially reliable since she can't be dealt with during her S3.
    Besides these changes are actually possible based on how modules work.

    could have been nice if they leaned into the smokescreen mechanic a bit more, letting her leave smoke behind with every deployment and giving buffs by either stacking buffs for each deployment or giving you buffs for smoking portions of the map, at least it would give some incentive to drop her down

    I think the most interesting niche they could give her, and one that kind of aligns with her lore, would be to add a line to her E2 talent that lets her be deployed on normally undeployable tiles, letting her hit targets that nobody else can.

    1- Is definintely gravel
    2- They should've played with the mobility aspect of OG crownslayer. Make her teleport to where the last hit enemy is, or randomly on a nearby tile. Also maybe have like a "Counterstrike" mechanic, similar to thorns S2 or flametail talent. If an enemy misses an attack due to her smoke, she deals a hit to them.
    There was a lot of room to play with her design wise, but at the end of the day a welfare 6* is not allowed to do anything too interesting or well.
    3- I like the fact that bad OPs like her exist. I actually like the challenge of clearing stages with bad operators, and trying to find ways of making them shine at least a little bit. That's why I love Vigil to death even tho he's literally a glorified 5* pioneer vanguard and a worse kroos in a single operator.

    As for S3, how about adding on top of your changes also prioritising non-bound targets? That way she'd be able to keep the two enemies with highest HP permabound, while still keeping your behaviour when there's nobody else.

    Here's how I'd buff her skills.
    S1: Seeing as it's just PR's S1, I'd give her a reduced redeployment timer and refunded DP if she kills an enemy. That way, you have a 1v1 duelist that can be used to respond quickly all around the map. IF you know what you're doing. After the first kill, she gets shields (Think of NTRK s2) to play into the staller role. She gets one extra shield fot every enemy she kills, but loses all of them if she fails to kill an enemy during her skill.
    S2: Allow you to charge and activate it, turning CS into basically a C4 you can detonate at any time. You can have her wait in ambush for up to, say, 30 seconds to have her max damage. Enemies caught in the blast retain the accuracy penalty, as well as fragile/a damage debugf based on how
    many seconds she charged. This makes her a time bomb you have to strategically place, but rewards you with a lot of phys damage, a long debuff+ damage, while still having her be weaker than the dreaded duo. CS no longer takes deployment slots but costs extra DP.
    S3:Allows enemies to hit one another with ranged attacks on accident and lowers allies' taunt towards ranged attacks. CS no longer attacks, instead countering melee hits from enemies every time the operators dodge OR the enemies "mids" this doesn't have to be from CS talent, allowing her to fully meld into the "support" role. The counterattacks have no cool down but she can only perform one at a time. When the skill is over-not when she is retreated- she deals a single instance of damage divided on all other enemies based on her damage dealt during this skill. (Ex, she deals 10000 damage in total and there's 5 enemies in range when the skill is over, they take 2000 damage each.) If she does this, her redeployment timer is increased by seconds.

    The easiest way to fix her while keeping her general gameplay the same is to change her to Agent Vanguard and add dp generation to her skills. that way her being slower makes sense and it would pair really well with her crowd control on s3. additionally, it would make actually dropping her in crowded area really nice. with 8 hits on s3, assuming she now gens 3 dp per hit she would give 24 dp over 16 second duration while also keeping enemies in check in a wide area. S2 giving a big dp burst would made waiting justified, and she's fairly secure during the time so it works to her benefit.

    My own uptake to CS.: We can fix her.
    Skill 1: Keep the main one and Add double hit.
    Skill 2: Keep that main one and add a effect where she damage and mark enemy one by one slowing them and when skill release the burst Atk. The mark one receive double damage.
    Skill 3: Just change the limiter into if there are multiple enemies target the one that is not stun. And if the enemy dies during her attack she immediately attack another one (making this a niche wave clear to weak mob but not as crazy as the other two). Make her Talent 2 increase effect when she manage to kill 3 enemy. Allow her to attack aerial enemy.

    Crownslayer S2 yap below:
    I can argue that the taunt level for Crownslayer S2 doesn't need change. Because what S2 does is debuff accuracy to enemies within range, not dodge to herself. Which means it's possible for enemies outside her smokescreen to snipe her, for example. You might want Crownslayer alive during S2 to debuff for the whole duration and thus protect the team for couple more hits. Higher taunt would make that slightly harder.
    Speaking of duration, that can be buffed too. Minimum 2 secs longer. How about the explosion at the end? Just make Crownslayer do the explosion upon retreat instead.
    Anyway, buffing accuracy debuff numbers in S2 is definitely needed if nothing else.

    Another way to fix her by another module, her 2nd talent can be upgrade by giving her a decent defense ignore so it could work well with S3 by making her one shot enemy with medium defense keep her atkspeed at 2 seconds

    I think the 6s was meant to prevent a 16 sec stun which does sound pretty good if most bosses weren’t stun immune making the stun locking bosses not common or even possible. The bind is actually balanced as not only does it hit most bosses but it also allows the bosses to fight back using abilities and attacks if possible. It pretty much is just a 16 sec delay that is useful if boss has close range abilities or for operators cooldowns.

    s3 stuns and mark enemies until the skils ends, marks faster, prioriize who isnt marked yet, at end deal x dmg times the number of marks each one have and stun again

    Anyone reminded SUPAH when he regarded that S2 is totally worse than S1, while he literally clarified difference of dodge vs accuracy reduction (self vs team buff) which is the main difference of those two skills? S2 use case is similar to Shamare S2 doll which is to boost team survivability. CS would need less taunt level to stay alive for applying debuff and to deal damage at the end of the skill. The intention is clear.
    I don't know why SUPAH has the idea of her being damage soaker when talent 2 literally favor her to not taking damage.

      I think in practice, given that the game will pick a target unless everyone is invisible/camo, I would prefer CS to gain taunt and increased def, while everyone else gains reduced taunt if the purpose of me bringing her is to soak or reduce damage for a set of units that I want to be saved. There are so many options to replace what CS does (Mylnar, Shamare, Ethan, literally any Supporter with sanctuary), and her role is so confusing, it would've been better to make it distinct from the existing options. I have no idea why she is even an executioner with this kit.
      Suppose if you keep her the way she is with her skill/talent for S2, then increase the percentages because it's basically ineffectual in current form.

    In skill two I think that they made her 'less likely to be targeted' to proc her talent two, and in some sense her problem is inherently in the 'tank damage soaker' because thry tried to make her in the way she is portraited as a character in lore, which means that 'she drops a smoke, the mobs lose accuracy because of the smoke but still tries to fire at her lost in their confusion (as we at this point) and then she executes them'. BUT MAN THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR A CHARACTER either you fuck up for making overkill or making what is right now (low budget tank/executor) if they decide if she does damage or tank it, would make it all different. To tank: slaps high dodges in every skill, it synergizes with the accuracy debuff and help to stay alive a lot more. To damage: changes her second talent, make so that WHEN she is hit she does more damage, plus reduce that HUGE amount of delay to deal damage in her skills two and three, but that is too much I guess.

    CS S2 isn't a damage soaking skill. It's an accuracy reduction skill meant for dodge synergies. You want the operator that benefits from the dodge to dodge the attack, hence CS's reduced target priority.

    My fix to her is just give her 30/40% slow within the smoke screen so enemy can actually stay inside her smoke skill before the skill 2 explosion, make her more likely to hit the same enemy on skill 3 before they leave the area and actually reduce pressure against melee enemies. If we want to be fancy, we can give her fear instead of slow. Something like enemy get feared for 2s when they enter her smoke screen for the first time and get reapplied after skill 3 stun.
    I always find fun people that bring Red skill 1 comparison. They say that CS do better under a certain defense thresholds ignoring that a lot of OPs deal better than Red skill 1 under the same defense thesholds and the whole point of skill 1 is dealing against enemies above a certain defense threshold which CS still cannot deal.

    I would give her a new niche Support Specialist (we have enough characters that can deal damage, but the number of support characters is incomparably small).
    Add a slowdown to the second skill (you can even make it scaling, the more targets, the greater the slowdown) or just add Frightened in a radius on all enemies. And to the third skill, just add the imposition of fragility on the enemy.

    It's a shame we can't make major changes. Clownslayer could be the first hole-deployable operator. You can only deploy her into a hole, and she does an AoE pull effect around her as she falls in. Bam, lore accurate and potentially useful.

    I think one of the big issues with Crownslayer is that we have *two* Limited Fast Redeploys who kill anything in their range. One of which may never ever rerun. So in a situation where you want an auto deploy and don't have Texas Alter, you *can* use Crownslayer and she can do *okay* damage but that's the only thing she has going for her.
    Texas and Yalter should never have been made but this is where we are. Fast Redeploys that can kill anything you want them to was one of HG's biggest fucking mistakes. Notice how Crownslayer is our first Fast Redeploy after Yalter, they were fucking afraid of making Crownslayer be another Fast Redeploy assassin and so undertuned her. I think the same funnily enough happened to Misery as, despite being a 6 star being in the same archetype as Yalter, Texas and Crownslayer that is limited to a specific event, his kit is also rather mid and was also rather hyped up with a skill that slows for four seconds and barely even moves the enemy. I don't know how impactful he is in that event but just a surface look tells me that HG also undertuned Misery.

    Small comment regarding S2: It seems like the taunt down on S2 is intended to help maximize her Talent 2 damage bonus. Her not attacking for 8 seconds gives a *long* window for ranged enemies to shoot her and exempt themselves from the Talent 2 bonus before she finally does her damage. Meanwhile, the miss chance effect still helps protect the rest of the team while she's under the taunt-down effect. Obviously this doesn't make the skill good, but I think that's what they were going for here. It's just that the numbers (both the miss chance and the damage) are too low for this skill to be worthwhile in EITHER capacity.

    Thematically speaking, she's faithful to the story (and the tidbit in the anime), striking enemies while hiding in the shadows of her smoke (plus i don't think she's a good teammate to be around with, often wanting to work alone despite being a leader of a reunion squad). The problem comes with implementing that into gameplay, as she simply doesn't work in a tower defense game that usually synergizes with other towers. The proposed changes are actually good, something i can agree with
    And since the pool of operators in the game is steadily increasing, and basically every role is now filled, i think leaning more towards a niche features in future ops would be the key focus for the devs instead of creating a competition with the older ops, and possibly powercreeping it (im talking about you mlynar and degen)

    Ah yes, as expected I feel "I agree but I'd do something different..."
    Anyway let me spit out my ideas;
    S1 - ATK +100%. 50% Physical and Arts Dodge; vs enemies blocked by self, all dodge chances are rolled twice.
    S2 - For 8s, does not attack but Talent 1 effect x3.3 and taunt -1. After this ends, deal 250% ATK 3 times to enemies in range.
    S3 - Expands Talent 1 range and it becomes the attack range. Becomes invisible and Block = 0. Attack interval increases x2, attacks deal 250% ATK twice, Stun for 4s, Slow for 8s, prioritize enemies that have not been attacked within 6s.

    There is some idea for skill 3: instead of prioritizing Max hp enemies, how about lowest hp enemies, but with increased damage the less hp they have? And instead of bind apply slow + accuracy debuff instead (so she could support allies this way at least)?
