There's not much to be wrong about. She's more powerful than he made her out to be but she isn't game breaking like Ines is,so it's kind of pointless. Ethan is still better stalling is a completely correct statement so that's about half of the discussion already gone. The only important thing is that she can deal sizeable DOT and is significantly better than Mizuki who was only okay anyway. You basically had no real use for him in high end content if your account actually has good operators.
Ascalon's problems are not in her kit or role of anything inherent to herself. Is that she's a "good" operator sandwiched between banners with "great" to "bullshit blazing bronken" ones
It's telling that the worst part about Ines is that she deals too much damage, because sometimes, she just kills stuff too quickly when you'd rather want to have her slurp up more delicious dp.

I really like her design, but I contacted find her to be lacking in DPS AND DP production when I use mine. Maybe maxed out E2L90 she'd be worth it but I've got more meta ops to raise at the moment.

4:27 Skill 3's use is that you want to use Ines's invisibility detection at 0 DP cost at the start of a battle. The actual skill itself is far less useful than 1 or 2.
I can't believe supah is still wrong about ines. Mumu is the best vanguard in arknights. You can tell because mumu can put a second vigil on the field, who somehow generates even less DP.
The 5-second bind also keeps her extremely safe from any threatening melee mob that could pulverize her, in practice cantabile can be beaten up very easily but the bind combined with the very short skill cycle basically makes her never take damage or need to take damage when she can just kill any trash mob from afar

Even my boy Czerny, with his, like, 50 RES on skill barely tanks any decent amount of arts damage, not to mention they ALWAYS hit with arts on skill...y'know, the ONE THING ARTS CASTERS HAVE A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF, while having middling ATK even while on skill. So they end up doing jack shit damage. And even if you're using eunectes S1, her skill takes do fucking long charging she'll probably die 9/10 times. IIRC the only enemy she can KINDA tank that's relevant is Manfred, and even then under very specific conditions.
Although mentioned, I cannot understate how strong it is to have lingering effects that stay after the operator is defeated/retreated. Before modules, there were next to no operators that could do something like this. But permanent invis removal and cc is so strong, especially for 0 deployment slots. She's one of the few operators that affects the map even if all the other units are deployed already.
The funny thing is, my opinion on Ines WAS affected by your review, and I got egged on the face once CCB2 came to global. I have only myself to blame. Doubly so when I somehow mistook Qiubai for Ines a month or two ago and spent ~70 pulls on that banner. I should've expected this stupidity from a Supah viewer, but man did I not realize I WAS that stupid viewer all along! For real though, thanks for setting the record straight. I had to look at them with tears in my eyes and tell them that Supah was wrong 😢. Ines is the 🐐 Vanguard tbh, not just because she is a Caprinae. She does a bit of everything and that just makes her a comfy pick for casual and difficult content because she is flexible and does her role great. The main reason I bought her over Reed Alter last voucher was because listing what each could do, Ines won out and opened up more fun options. Before I was using Bagpipe x Myrtle, but after Ines I can just drop Ines to hold off the weak fodder, and drop in a Blaze or Mudrock to lane hold the rest of the stage. Excellent video Supah, the Huohuo cursor was cute, and you got me hyped for the Year 2 video where you are gonna talk about my Sarkaz queen Surtr.
Oddly enough I started playing Arknights because of Asbestos' E2 art on a video of CC Pyrite's lobby theme, so one could argue she at least has that use. I was like "ok, that looks really cool, what the hell is this game?"
One of the biggest reasons I love Ines is because I can reveal invisible units and slow down a lane, all while saving an extra deployment if needed. Also, you can just slap her down, activate S2 immediately if you have bagpipe, get your DP back, sell her, and redeploy her like 40-50 seconds later in another lane to reveal and slow two lanes.
Basically he thought Ines would be bad because she tries to do everything. But once he actually used her instead of making ASSumptions, he realized she actually does do everything as good or better than any vanguard specialized for dp/early block/utility/etc. and better than most other units of any other class, including redeploy.
The best part of Ines role comression is that you can make use of only a couple of her features and usually it is already enough to put her in the squad. If you need more dp -> go Ines; need to kill someone from distance -> go Ines; invisible enemy -> go Ines; need just a bit of cc -> go Ines; love Ines -> GO INES. She basically works as 4 other operators would and, by bringing her, you are freeng those 3 extra slots to do other tasks, like stand on field and watch how Ines is clearing the level.
HuoHuo is actually a pretty bad unit. People always say that she is Mudrock, Texalter and Surtr all in one kit, but since I didn’t get her after 500 pulls, she clearly is just not that great. Even if I get her, I will leave her at level 1 e0.

Adding to your statement, Supah, I'd say what makes Ines unique is her versatile *control* functionality that no other operator can offer. She is, IMO, more about control than about anything else. Basically, her 5s guaranteed bind on first hit is extremely powerful. Yes, we have Ethan for AoE bind, but it's more random. Yes, we have Qiubai with her talent (which is way too random to rely on) with S1, but why would you use Qiubai with S1 just for binding every 5th attack when her other skills are universally better? Or we have Ceobe with S1, but here we basically have just the same question as with Qiubai (although I did use Ceobe C1 on latest CC to deal with evaders because I didn't have Ines which was a more preferable option). The big difference for Ines is that not only there is no gimmick with her bind, she, as you mentioned, comes with MORE than that, and it's again about control (anti-invisibility + slow). There is none other unit in the game with such combination of control features that are universally useful, cheap and easy to utilize as well as giving decent DPS AND DP. So yeah, you're right and I'm not adding something completely new, just sharing my point of view that supports yours and slightly adds to the perspective. I used Ines S2 mostly before until I realized I could use S3 as a pseudo fast redeploy executor, her S3 does a shitton of damage at M3 and can even take out tanky targets, she's a real account changer

The ines list is still missing: Fullfill suporter role because stealing atk and atspd is consider a 'debuff' Make your team tanky-er because stealing atk and atspd equaling the enemy stop doing too much dmg that your medic can keep up

Me trying to hold back from pulling for Ines because I'm supposed to save for Waltuh, but I'm just thinking of how well she would synergize with my Hoederer.. Enough range to place her right behind him, which will benefit her from his talent 2. She then binds enemies infront of him, which boosts Hoederer's attack grom his talent 1, and the bind lasts for 5 seconds, which is enough for 2 of his attacks. And she steals ATK and ASPD from enemies hit, which would help him immensely with tanking due to his 0 DEF. And while he's tanking them, she just keep genersting DP. It's like they were made for each other. But if I waste all my pulls to get her, I won't have any for Waltuh and still will probably not get her...
ines S3 is used for fast dp gen without flagpipe, pseudo fast deploy for damage, global bind cc and 0 cost invis removal. Btw her S2 has higher dp gen than all flagbearers (17dp per 32s cycle, 18dp with pot), and has a short startup time of 5s, effectively removed the need for bagpipe in even some ccs.

I had my ines chilling for a long while when I got lucky on a first 10 pull, only now I have been using her since she has been instrumental in dealing with invisible enemies
Ines's 3rd skill is generally better in RA than her other skills, plus you get 0 cost invis removal. You'll do a proper Hoederer review now right? He's a good operator that can be used alongside another stunner to stunlock anyone who's not immune to it, I usually use him alongside Aak and nothing can get past Hoederer at that point, and RA's bosses aren't stun immune except for two so Hoederer will trivialize the bosses
I can't wait for the inevitable 6* Myrtle alter to come out and powercreep some other class now that she finally has someone who can beat her as the top vanguard.
I was going to use Gavialter on that tile too but my Penance said "nah I would counter" and so she did that lol also, as someone with a lvl 1 ines, good to know that she aged well, unfortunately the last op I leveled up was Mumu(who I also used on lvl 1 gaming cuz funny) so Im not really in need for more. also, Ray Mumu with infinite bullets is amazing lol
I always told myself "pioneer vanguards are good in situations where the enemies show up too quickly for flagbearers to work properly, thats their one remaining niche" I realize now that this only applies to me because I do not have Ines.
What's more, she's an agent vanguard. Low DP cost, semi-fast rededploy. She isn't meant to be doing absurdly high damage, so she fulfills her niche properly and has staying power after retreating. She's just a well rounded operator that can properly remove most of the flaws to open a stage. She doesn't replace Guards, Casters, Snipers, etc. She just adds a bit more value into their playstyle by complementing them.
4:45 can confirm, being one, that she's always been a little sus with her kit and how she easily gets inside places, but careful with the claims pasta guy, ya might find out you're also one of us

Me trying to hold back from pulling for Ines because I'm supposed to save for Waltuh, but I'm just thinking of how well she would synergize with my Hoederer..
Enough range to place her right behind him, which will benefit her from his talent 2. She then binds enemies infront of him, which boosts Hoederer's attack grom his talent 1, and the bind lasts for 5 seconds, which is enough for 2 of his attacks. And she steals ATK and ASPD from enemies hit, which would help him immensely with tanking due to his 0 DEF. And while he's tanking them, she just keep genersting DP.
It's like they were made for each other. But if I waste all my pulls to get her, I won't have any for Waltuh and still will probably not get her...
I still remember when you said that Silverash remove invisibility is better than Ines.
ines S3 is used for fast dp gen without flagpipe, pseudo fast deploy for damage, global bind cc and 0 cost invis removal. Btw her S2 has higher dp gen than all flagbearers (17dp per 32s cycle, 18dp with pot), and has a short startup time of 5s, effectively removed the need for bagpipe in even some ccs.
I love that Ines was my first 6* operator and in NEVER PLAYED any ak stage without her (also my first E2)

I had my ines chilling for a long while when I got lucky on a first 10 pull, only now I have been using her since she has been instrumental in dealing with invisible enemies

Ines is a fucking badass. And if you go in to the IS stages and use the +ASPD items, she can fill a DP bar in seconds

Ines's 3rd skill is generally better in RA than her other skills, plus you get 0 cost invis removal.
You'll do a proper Hoederer review now right? He's a good operator that can be used alongside another stunner to stunlock anyone who's not immune to it, I usually use him alongside Aak and nothing can get past Hoederer at that point, and RA's bosses aren't stun immune except for two so Hoederer will trivialize the bosses

There is a reason why basically all my first runs contain either Ines and Myrtle or Ines and Saga. (Or all three)
You also forgot to say she doesn't even need to stay on the field or can invi reveal in 2 differents lanes and she can hit air.
I was going to use Gavialter on that tile too but my Penance said "nah I would counter" and so she did that lol
also, as someone with a lvl 1 ines, good to know that she aged well, unfortunately the last op I leveled up was Mumu(who I also used on lvl 1 gaming cuz funny) so Im not really in need for more.

What's more, she's an agent vanguard. Low DP cost, semi-fast rededploy.
She isn't meant to be doing absurdly high damage, so she fulfills her niche properly and has staying power after retreating. She's just a well rounded operator that can properly remove most of the flaws to open a stage. She doesn't replace Guards, Casters, Snipers, etc. She just adds a bit more value into their playstyle by complementing them.
