What do you call this weird part?

Tyler Beck of Tech & Espresso It is a bracket. It will come in handy, if you want to mount something to the wall. Thanks for a good video, and your comments.

Thank you so much for this. There seem to be many slow 30 minutes and longer videos out there, but I love your concise and clear style. Little tutorials that are easy to digest.

Just when I'm trying to figure out when I should create separate sketches. bodies or components to keep things organized... you go and do this ! :)

Awesome demo Tyler. I paused the intro and pondered it for a couple of minutes, didn't get it a first. Then as soon as you started the sketch, it all fell into place.

Well, “yes” it is cool, that you can do this in just one sketch, but is it good good practice? Is this the way to make robust models?

Just an example of what it is possible with the reuse of sketches. For this part it can be managed. I would reconsider for something more complicated.

Can be done even easier if you add more constraints in the sketch. But ok for inspiration.

I am a software guy. I prefer writing code I can read in a few years. So I am not going for the shortest possible code all the time. I guess I am at the good side when I do exactly the same thing in my hobby Fusion stuff :) Nice, but be warned: don't do this at your garage...

Totally agree! This is really about showing what’s possible with one sketch and the ability to reuse.

Your holes are not in the locations of your beginning view. Your radii on the tabs are too big.

Fair enough. Really just trying to show off the reuse of one sketch. Hope it gives you some ideas.

This is essentially a tutorial on using Holes instead of any extra sketches. I honestly wish I could unwatch this video

Hahaha. This channel isn't for everyone. Definitely check out Lars, Autodesk Fusion 360 and Kevin Kennedy's Fusion content.

@@TylerBeckofTECHESPRESSO Its not that. The title and thumbnail seemed like it was going to be some voodoo magic trickery so it set a higher expectation to me, but the video ended feeling like a party trick for the beginners.
Up until the rushed feeling outro there was no reason, other than the way you seemed to be explaining some of what you were doing, for me to think that this was a video focused on beginners.
I've seen a few of your other videos on Fusion, but this is the only one that really rubs me the wrong way
