    Just Curious....How Many Fusion 360 Models Have You Made So Far? More or less than 20?

      More, mostly model mania from solidworks.

    Can't stress how useful this video is, a lot of the tutorials don't apply best practices, so the objects end up uneditable.

    Very good video. However, as a total begginer, it seemed that you were doing things in between cuts, such as after mirroring (how do I get both to be shaded?). Again, as a total begginer, this really messed me up. Also if you could explain what I am supposed to do there that would be very much appreciated

    Hello Mr. Beck. Love your videos, some of the best. I am having trouble dimensioning the holes. When you dimension the first point at one inch you are getting a snap to the center of the circular part of the hinge and I am not. I have been back over the vid numerous times and don’t see the difference where I went wrong or if I have a setting off. I have even tried to set up another plane to define the center of the circle but that is causing other problems. Can somebody help?? Thank you so much for taking the time to create such great vids

  • @ecargs

    I had the same question as another person but near 12:34 you go from the mirrored component being inactive to having both components active at once, how did you do that? I am unable to activate both...

    Thanks for another excellent tutorial. I have not managed to finish it yet. I am stuck now just before the cut/extrusion of the hole and the pin. Hopefully I will be able to taste success after effort #4. If I may, this is a bit steep for a beginner. I am a beginner with absolute NO droughting nor CAD experience. I cannot even draw a proper stick man ... but I am learning. I will park this one for a couple of days and now do your F360 Tutorials for Beginners.

      @@TylerBeckofTECHESPRESSO thanks. I eventually did it. I kept on trying and trying. What confused me a lot was that you sometimes switches between the 2 bodies without mentioning it. I then watched the active body to see what you did. BUT, I finished it.
      Well done!

    Hello, I need your help please. At 4.30 I tried to define the dimensions of the circle, when finished the line was still blue which caused the rest of the project to be off. Im sure I followed your instructions move for move but obviously either there is something I haven't done or the settings are different and it has not worked. Please can you help?

    Hi, Great video and thanks for doing it. Having a slight issue though and I don't know if I've missed something. I can't select multiple points. I've moved the hole to the front in the timeline and I can place a hole, but only one. The multiple is greyed out.

      Sorted. Must have done something wrong earlier on. deleted the point sketch and the hole and re did them but without doing the hole first and it worked. Thanks anyway and I look forward to more training from your channel. Great job

    Let’s take another run at the hole wizard. I was “licking my chops” that someone was going to finally tell me how & when to effectively use it, but... 🧐😉

    • @TylerBeckofTECHESPRESSO
      @TylerBeckofTECHESPRESSO  4 года назад

      Hey Bill, have you used the Hole Wizard in Solidworks? It has functionality that Fusion still is missing like the standard sizes which would have been easier on this example. I want that functionality in Fusion pretty badly! Was there something in my explanation that made it confusing? The order of operations?

    • @billkellogg1403
      @billkellogg1403 4 года назад

      No. It’s just that I don’t see the advantage of the tool over sketching holes and extruding them.

    • @TylerBeckofTECHESPRESSO
      @TylerBeckofTECHESPRESSO  4 года назад +1

      Hey Trunker - Exactly. I would start by looking at the pin fits based on your printer.

    • @chemicalBR0
      @chemicalBR0 4 года назад

      If you do a section analysis from the inspect tab you can slice through and see (and measure) how much clearance your pin has from the shroud. and adjust to suit the tolerance of your printer.
      (I use this method to make printable working threads and stuff like that)

    I'm stuck at dragging the Sketch to the left of the hole. Dragging doesn't seem to work no matter how many times and what I click to drag it. Can anyone help?
    Found the issue: I hadn't clicked on "Finish Sketch" at the top. Dragging worked after I clicked it.
    I hope this helps someone :D

    any chance you can go a little slower, I'm very new and your explanations are clear and concise but I find you go too fast and we miss the intricacies of what you are tapping on, or the function you're doing?

    Hi Thanks for your video. the problem is that I am an '' absolut beginner and you are way too fast in your movements and explanations.
    you pick your menus so fat that the eyes have a hard time making sense of all this.
    someone that has work on this before can probably make sense but than please don't call this Ultimate beginner courses.
    I am on fusion 360 and have done several drawings already but that is it. I can hardly keep up with anything you do.
    thanks any way but please use the right terms to identify your demonstrations and slow down a bit.
    Kind regards,
