Awesome review thanks
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the info
No problem 👍
Thanks for the great real world review, were you using the performance blade or the economy blade? Just wondering if the economy blade gives an reasonably good cut. Any trouble doing curvy lines or turns with the personal pace? I guess one just leans on one side more? Thanks!
Hello thank you. Love this thing the blade I am using is the performance and wow the cut is perfect. I have 2 other Toros and on one of them I removed the personal pace and I kind of like it better than the personal pace. The super recycler turns perfect when needed, its smooth and quiet. Also it has the boost option which the regular recycler doesnt have. Thanks
Thank you for such a detailed, well thought out video. After using it, does the handle height get easier on your frame? I’m roughly the same height as you
Hello yes after I lowered the handle it was better but still a little higher than I was used to with the regular recycler but after a few minutes I adjusted to the height. I did adjust the speed cable just a bit and it was great. I would like it a bit lower but the quality of the cut and the feel of the mow is fantastic. I feel it has more power than the 60v recycler. Let me know if you get it and how you enjoy it.
@@ExtremDIY Sweet! I’m undecided between 21566 & 21568 - what appeals to me about the 21566 is the battery cover (unlike the 21568 w/ the flimsy and wonky latch, even though aesthetically it might look MORE appealing to some), and I have no need for the LED headlights (as I’ll never be cutting the grass in dusk/dark). Besides I figure since there is no toggle switch to deactivate headlights, I’d assume it is a draw on the battery, even if it is parasitic. So seems to me saving $50 is worth not having those issues the 21568 has. Keep up the great work! Your review was very helpful!
@@kmka2206 Thank you. I do feel the same way about the led. I got mine at a discount so it was a no brainer but the LED is not needed just like you mentioned. I feel the cover is better on the 21566 also. Which ever one you purchase hope you enjoy it cause I do enjoy cutting with this one.
Good review, Looking at this one or the new EGO Alumnium deck mower. Which would you recommend?
Hello I like this one because its more of a natural feel to it. I had the Ego select cut and hated it. Before you get the ew Ego check out the reviews because the main complaint is the noise of the electric motor its loud. Another thing I dont like about electric mowers are the engagement of them. Its on or off and it gives you bir of a jerk. I also have the Echo mower and the engagement is no good. The Super Recycler cuts amazing and feels like a regular mower and has alloy deck. It also has the option of manually ramping up the motor if needed. Let me know if you have any other questions
@@ExtremDIY That is some great feedback, I'm also not crazy about the jerk on the Ego mowers when SP engages after trying one, I guess I'd have to get used to it. The Echo is also not great for engagement with self propel? I'm probably going to wind up with this (Toro SR 60V) mover finally, I'm curious why you took off the personal pace on yours' and you prefer that? Thanks!
@@mikeranfft6361 Hello I removed the personal pace on the recycler because for some reason that mower has an issue with the self propelled on slopes. I had changed it thinking it was a bad one but the second one did the same thing when you are trying to go up a slope so I removed it and its perfect now. On the super the personal pace works perfect I dont really have an explanation for it. To me so far the all around is the super recycler 60V. The recycler with the 150cc motor is too weak for my yard. I had the older recycler with the 163cc Briggs and loved it. The Echo locks up when trying to reverse and gets annoying. The Ego felt like a toy I was hopping the new one would be better but I dont like that noise or engagement. To me the best engagement is the Honda with the thumb type of knob. I think the Milwaukee has it too but cost over 1k.
@@ExtremDIY Many thanks, so the Echo really does take a while to disengage after self propel is let go for reverse (hope it doesn't do it when SP was not on to begin with!) Thanks for clarifying about the Toro SR personal pace. Any idea about the weight of mower? I see figures from 76 to 100 pounds. Yes you can hear the increased noise in the reviews on the aluminum deck Ego-I imagine the SP motor works harder with the increased weight thus more noise!
@@mikeranfft6361 I believe its 83 lbs on EGO aluminum deck mower. thank you
To old, now history
Toro stills sell it and it cuts amazing. I love mine and its my favorite of all my 3 Toros.
Fantastic review. thanks
Very welcome
