Hello not sure what you mean. what comes in the kit is all you need I cant see inside the valve cover section. Its easy to install on this valve cover. On the newer cars I dont think you can install this kit. thanks

@@ExtremDIY The N13 engine has two more membranes in the cover itself. A kit with a large membrane is sold, but it is pointless to change it. Because the two small membranes fall apart just like the big one. And they cannot be replaced.

@@Zeljk080 Looks like BMW did it again so you buy the entire valve cover for 1k. They make me mad. For the next gen B58 is the same you cant buy a kit for that you got to buy the entire valve cover.

Hello you might want to check the battery. Test it with another battery if you have but yes there could be something wrong with it. I torque all my lug nuts between 80-140 and this unit removes them almost instant. I even sold the bigger one that didnt work as good as the DCF921. Hope you can get to the issue.

Hello that is usually the cause of the temp being way off. I had a difference of temp from the normal that should be. Once I replaced it no more issues. Check with your dealer I believe there is a recall or a special coverage on this tranny for this issue before you buy it. I have also seen the wire harness go bad too. I saw it on some forums

Hello they usually last about 75k miles and that is were I noticed it started driving like a wood wagon. When you go over speed bumps if its stiff then you know they are bad. I believe if you change the suspension setting from normal to sport you cant notice the difference is also an indicator. For me it was the oil stains on the driveway and I noticed that they were damaged. I had the new ones in the garage for the front for a while before my wife drove the car and mentioned it drove really bad so it was time to change them. The rear did go bad before the front but oil on them is an easy way to determine they are done. The car runs so much better now. Thanks

That is a great question. I would say one for safety reason of breaking when you are bringing the pole down. I am sure you can add a second one if you keep it vertical and if you bring it down cautiously not to break. The carbon pole has lifetime warranty. Let me know if you try it and works

hello oh boy I am not sure if they sell just the plastic piece. You can replace them but they are all different part numbers if I am not mistaken. I have not replaced one so not sure if you need to remove the valve body to get to them. I believe they pop out from the valve body. If you can insert the plug and put a zip tie maybe can work. Each solenoid is numbered and you would have to buy the correct one to match it. Hope this helps

hello I am not sure but they changed the cowl style I guess to correct the issue but not sure if it fits on the same holes. You would have to ask the dealer if it does. I had a friend with a newer year and looked completely different on the outside.

I just did the oil on the motor. Didnt do the fuel filter I dont use the unit as much but great question its suppose to be under the gas tank. On anther video I did the pump oil change.

89k which I have been told that it happens way sooner.

@ExtremDIY Ya my g30 has only 35k on it and I had to replace the radiator and few hoses and the expansion tank. I am just afraid that the oil pump will go bad soon it's the early b58 engine with plastic oil pump.

@@sevakshir3612 I replaced the oil filter housing made of aluminum, the coolant fitting that cracked made of plastic, the water pump and thermostat all in one week. plastic parts are no good. my friend has a 7 series that is outside my house to be checked for cooling problems with 30k miles on it. Seems to be a pattern.

@27ecobeast it's 2017 . I know that lower models oil pumps are breaking as well it's plastic especially in cold climate.

Hello not at all. the foam barely weighs anything. I did replace the single car door motor from ceiling mount to side mount to have a cleaner look and side springs to center style spring to match the double door. I also replaced the rollers that were making all kinds of noises. The foam helps a lot since I face east and in the mornings it would start to cook the garage. Thanks

hello before you do that make sure the cable that goes to the transmission is hooked up. I had my other Escalade where the pin fell out and tranny was not shifting. Its an easy fix just look at the side of the tranny and check the cable to make sure its connected. Also check with the dealer I believe there is a recall on the temp sensor before you buy it. Hope it helps
