Steamed Stuffed Tofu | Teokon Farci | Mauritian Tofu Farci | ZestyMu Style

  • These steamed tofu are stuffed with a filling made with ground fish, shrimp, green onion, fish sauce and sesame oil and drizzled with an umami-packed sauce to create a decadent flavour.

    Ingredients:
    4 Blocks Firm Tofu (8 Triangles)
    1 TBSP Oil
    For the Fish Paste:
    300g White Fish Fillet (Haddock)
    100g Shrimps
    1 Egg (white only)
    4g Dried Shiitake Mushroom
    1 TBSP Cornstarch
    1 TBSP Oil
    1 TSP Fish Sauce
    1 TSP Salt
    1/2 TSP White Pepper
    1/4 Cup Coriander + Spring Onion
    For the Sauce:
    3 TBSP Oyster Sauce
    1 TSP Cornstarch
    200 ml Water
