X-T5, X-H2 or X-H2s are the ones to be compared with A7iv. Two card slots and higher specs and built for pro usage.
It sure looked to me like the Fuji beat the Sony in the autofocus tracking. It was quicker to re-focus on the subject. Surprising! Also, I greatly preferred the Eterna colors to the Sony video colors (I don't remember the name).
No. Its not. The sony was set of slow autofocus most likely for a smoother transition. I own a Sony and trust me. If its set at the highest speed, it's so fast that it feels unnatural. At least the A7 iii behaves this way. With that said, the A7 iv should be even better. Clearly the Sony is better from my experience
Interesting to read how many Fuji fans are here. As you suggest, these two cameras are different. Very different. I’m voting with my wallet. Saturday I will purchase the Fuji. Size. Weight. Price for performance lead me to the Fuji. Here is the thing. I’m a hobbyist. I do not provide client work. I don’t need the best. Good enough is more than I need. Wait... Fuji just toasted Sony on AF... 8:40... whoa... that was embarrassing. 8:55... epic fails... What is going on here? I mean the man is literally telling us the opposite of what is going on in the test... Failed expectations...
I've explained why i think that is in the comment sections... 33mm F1.4 is alot smaller than the 50mm F1.2 gm... So it's going to focus faster just because smaller glass elements moves faster than big heavy glass elements.. And this test shouldnt be a definitive because there are other situations where the sony crushes the fuji in autofocusing than walking in a straight line ... and that's where the sony wins and is more reliable at. Thanks for watching lol
I have ppl told me they switched from an xs20 to a sony a6700 to only switch back because they dont like teh colors. I would say try it out before you buy its not for everybody.
The autofcusing on the xs10 bothers me. It’s pulsating and can’t make up its mind. The Sony has a slower autofocusing which looks pleasing if you’re doing your on rack focusing.
@@Iamtongue only one way to know lol I would love your take even if you rent it for a couple of days. The video features and autofocus improvement could be huge
Disregard the autofcusing segment as your source. I was using two different nd filters with a colour cast on them. That was made solely for autofocusing and not colors.
The Fuji colour default looks BLUE it's AWFUL! Yes yes Sony is a bit 'too yellow' hue but it's still fine. Also I HATE how Fuji makes the skin on fair people look PINK it's so off putting. I can own both, because they don’t compete in the same realm. X-T5, X-H2 or X-H2s are the ones to be compared with A7iv. Two card slots and higher specs and built for pro usage.
of course!
It sure looked to me like the Fuji beat the Sony in the autofocus tracking. It was quicker to re-focus on the subject. Surprising! Also, I greatly preferred the Eterna colors to the Sony video colors (I don't remember the name).
Fair enough!
No.
Looking forward to having the XS10 in my hands.
P.S.If you consider yourself a professional I would stay away from cursing. I use that language. If I was posting a RUclips video that will be viewed for eternity. Would you want your grandchildren to hear you talking like this?

Thank god before I publish my videos I check that my videos are not intended for children lol. So I’ll curse if I want to….You shite
@@Iamtongue You shite? Mr curse man 😅😅
@@motebike fucking right.

Keep doing what you're doing man, don't let this guy tell you how to do your videos. I actually find your videos more approachable and relatable than some of the more 'professional' youtubers that Martin is referring to.
P.S. Martin I imagine you are a lot of fun at parties. I hope you grandkids find you just as entertaining.
im surprised sony was so slow at about 8:36 - 9:05 and with the palms situation. i expected it to not fail so blatantly..
Ya I don’t know what happened there 😂😂😂 but it’s still better than the xs10
Sony is spectacular on paper and is great for hybrid shooter. I would say that the xs10 however is like a poormans a7iv, great for photos, and for video you can get by with these specs if you don't have demanding video tasks.
great analogy
So when are you getting the X-h2s??
send me yours bro.
😅😅😅 I’m still testing it lol
haha, im probably gonna get one soon, just need to find one in stock.
@@Iamtongue Adorama has them in stock now lol
I thought Sony was better in auto focus but it looks Fuji was faster, why?
Faster doesn’t mean better ..
eterna color ! :o doing research on getting my first mirrorless and getting into video and photo. Planning to go used first and invest in lenses. The eterna color might just have sold me straight up
its awesome :D
the only problem with x-s10 is that it doesn't have subject tracking on video mode.
ya whihc sucks.
You can scroll trough the images on the Fuji cameras with the front dial.
The Sony A7iv autofocus is bad. Sony needs to add the a1 af just how canon added there’s to the R7
I think it’s great.
J’ai le xs10, et le a74 me tente pendant longtemps ça fait 5 ans que je suis sur fuji et c’est dur de passer le cap, j’ai peur de regretter.
I have ppl told me they switched from an xs20 to a sony a6700 to only switch back because they dont like teh colors. I would say try it out before you buy its not for everybody.
I love doing comparisons no one ever asked for too!! You got ‘em so might as well use ‘em. 🤣🤣
LOL might as well 😅
I like the way you compared the camera 😄
thank you :D
The autofcusing on the xs10 bothers me. It’s pulsating and can’t make up its mind. The Sony has a slower autofocusing which looks pleasing if you’re doing your on rack focusing.
I prefer the sony's autofocusing alot more. Fujifilm is too jittery.
You could change the AF speed and sensitivity on the A74
@@laeicawezlar4417 I didn't say you can't.
Sony A7iv kills xs10
Xh-2s : fine I will do it myself
that's a close battle! i dont know who i would pick
@@Iamtongue only one way to know lol I would love your take even if you rent it for a couple of days. The video features and autofocus improvement could be huge
probably going to pick one up soon. just need to find a place that has it in stock
Thank you for your video. Now I know XS10 is my answer. :)
Glad I could help!
Color science on Sony is too warm / not pleasant at all
Disregard the autofcusing segment as your source. I was using two different nd filters with a colour cast on them. That was made solely for autofocusing and not colors.
@@Iamtongue Ah ok man :)
It can be tweaked fairly easily in camera to get rid of any color casts (green and yellow primarily)
Plz make a Video fuji xh2s vs sony A7 iv autofocus.
It will help us most. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Okay 👌
You are amazing man🤎.
Just make a dedicated autofocus video and try to push both camera as much as hard situation you can🤎
The Fuji colour default looks BLUE it's AWFUL! Yes yes Sony is a bit 'too yellow' hue but it's still fine. Also I HATE how Fuji makes the skin on fair people look PINK it's so off putting. I don't understand Fuji fanboys I think they must all be colour blind. I will admit that USING a Fuji camera is more fun because of the tactile feel of the buttons. If the Sony had an analog feel with their tech inside, they would be godlike.
That's why Fuji needs sony's tech haha
Fuji of course :)
Fuji gang 🤜🤛
Sup I just got the fuji 🔥
Fuji gang 🤜🤛 which one you got
The xs 10 got it 2 weeks ago. Upgraded from canon 😁 it's just very confusing xd
That shirt is iconic!
boats & hoes!
Great video! The Sony A7iv is the clear winner here. But you should have got a pic or video of that seagull. LOL
Haha I rather not just in case it decides to leave a 💩 flying down on my lens 😃
Would love to see some jpegs right out of Fuji 🙏
hey man, you can see more jpegs on my 1 year review of the fujifilm xs10...
ruclips.net/video/WI0waJaYUxY/видео.html
Why not put the Fuji X-H2s and it’ll kill the Sony.
what makes you say that? I don’t think it would lol
I like Fujifilm xs10
Fujifilm cinema modes are more fun than real life colors
I agree ☝️
I actually need this review! Haha 😂
I am the guy who exactly retired the A74 and bought xs10
Awesome! How are you liking it?
@@Iamtongue I loved the stability from Fujifilm that Sony failed to deliver
It may be a downgrade, just to look at the spec, but a different user experience without repairment
You have to spend a lot on e-mount for what A74 promised, but x-mount is killing it for way less money, like the legendary XF 18-55
@@tamsaiming2003 exactly! I’m glad you’re enjoying the Fuji system 😀

Thanks!
Stop swearing dude. It's really distasteful
