"Babe wake up, new frame just dropped" is the best way to summarize Vampire Survivors 28 minutes into a run.
My thing on the oven preheating conversation is like, yes preheat your oven for any raw meats or whatever, be safe about it. But also when it comes to just 'I need Food In My Stomach and I am not picky' frozen pizzas, I already know from years of experience that, with my exact oven and how long it takes to heat up, I can throw it in cold for about 2 or 3 minutes over maximum recommended cook time or whatever, and it comes out perfect every time. I'm not doing new calculus in my head every time because I'm not working with a new oven and I buy the same brand of pizza for filler meals every time, so it's basically free, and it shaves the extra 4 minutes it'd take to actually fully preheat.
The main reason you have to preheat your oven is because most recipes are timed with the oven already being at temperature. When I use my toaster oven, I use the preheat cycle as part of the cooking time. But on my big oven I use the preheat time as part of the prep time.
@@joewilson3393 Yeah see I'm not knocking the idea of actually using preheat time, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying whenever I don't preheat my oven it's because I know how to compensate for [x exact frozen food] from years of having been lazy growing up. In general if it's something I'm not familiar with, I'll preheat the oven, who cares, but since I already know the precise thermodynamics of My Oven VS One Red Baron Frozen Pizza (Cracked In Half To Be Single-Serving), that's my exception, and-- I wanna stress-- not my rule.
if you do Pizzas just preheat the oven while you take them out of the package and put the Pizza on the tray, it's an easy, well oiled machine

The lock is for the self-cleaning feature. While it is for safety, it only keeps the oven closed during the cleaning cycle.

I always eat up the jaywalking discourse when it comes up because that concept barely even exists outside of North America as far as I know. Here in Scotland you cross where you need to cross and you just use your damn brain and don't walk in front of a car going 50.

i mean that's also true in north america. jaywalking is only an issue when some dumbass walks in front of a car but unless you're doing it in front of a police officer (and usually even then) as long as you're not being dangerous no one cares
people in the U.S. can do it in front of most police if the area its being done in regularly has j walking, but i had a whole family of 5 walking across in a line, not in one group trying to get across, they were crossing like it was a crosswalk, and i had to hit my breaks, because someone in the other lane let them go, so they just slowly walked across like ducks, and it was like 7 people, the road is only 35, but i really don't care, if you just run across and i can keep moving i don't care, but if you shut down both directions of traffic with your whole family, honestly... Fuck you.
@@litapd311 yep. they don't mind if its common place to j walk on the road they see you do it on. You would have to be like the public enemy of the town/city you live in to get stopped and ticketed for a J walk, When people just start walking, and i mean people. not just a guy. I had a whole family slowly cross the street in a line... no urgency. "oh they stopped for us, that must mean we are fine to slowly pace across these two directions of traffic. No it doesn't mean that, and if you don't hurry im going to run you over.

FYI, NEVER lock your oven door while food is inside it.
The lock is for the cleaning feature and has a thermostat built into it. So once the lock is engaged it won’t unlock and let you open the oven until it’s a safe temperature inside.
So your food will be overcooked and cold by the time you get it.
Sounds like NL never used the self cleaning option on his oven.

Thank you Lion for playing this game. I thought I'll give it a try since it's not that expensive and looks kinda fun for a couple runs. My first session lasted 3 hours.. Very fun and addicting game!

Well IDK for sure, but it's not a lid. If it was a lid, it would be on the top when closed.
About door or not, my main issue is that the hinges are at the bottom, not on the side. A lock? Lots of furniture with unlockable* doors. So I'd say it's probably a door, even if the hinges are unusual.

im dutch, you can cycle with no hands easy only when its a conciderable wind you might get pushed a bit. but because you will instinctivly lean in to the wind, thus changing your center of mass towards the wind side, thus steering in to the wind. this is for like wind speed 5 and below. texting is a risk, lesser one then with driving.
i personally think texting while biking is a much more substantial risk to yourself just because for most bikers braking is tied to their hands. The biggest risk as a cyclist isnt hurting others its getting totally annhilated yourself

1. I think Moore meant that Canadians don't lock their door while they're in.
2. If your main door key can be duplicated at a mall in 30min then it's a cheap pin tumbler lock and it's only "kinda locked".

Honestly, if NL wants to preserve his framerate he should probably refund that curse.
Myself i can only handle 30% curse anyways, got up to 24 minutes on 50% when the cooldown passive wouldn't spawn for me on library, but i got very very lucky on that run with the timing of crown, getting scythe first. though now i would also attribute getting the birds early and locking myself into relying on them A LOT for late damage sucked, because they ate up a lot of levels at first (just trying to free up a weapon slot or find the second bird, you need to level the first one at least 3 times.
Did they fix the lag or something? Got this game recently and have no performance issues even though my PC is 6 years old.
god i hope you come back to vampire survivors when the full release is out. there's so much more content now (new maps, characters, upgrades, evolutions, hidden characters, etc.) and it's such a good game for banter. they're also still working on the framerate issue in late game and transferring everything to a new engine, but i haven't had any major issues. a lot better than a few months ago. plus each run is 30-60 minutes depending on how long you take deciding your build, so it's predictable how long you'd be recording. (COPIUM)

Oh re: door locking, we definitely didn't lock our doors in rural Nova Scotia when I was growing up, but Vancouver is a whooooooole different fucking matter. Anyone living in a Canadian *city* who's not locking their doors is…like … I have no idea what's going on there.

My 50 something yr old coworker drove one of those motor scooters and wiped out. Broke the femoral head in his hip. Those motor scooters are not worth the risk imo.
My old friend had one when we were living together (sorta. it was more of a shelter thing) and we went to go get drinks for everyone so she drove and I was on the back on our way back from the store though the parade is suddenly in town and we took this back road instead and it was like this gravel path meant pretty much just for cars so it kicked up some rocks we wiped out I was okay but she had to get her knee replaced
