MyQ service for nearly $5 a month crazy. Think about it, it's 50% of the cost of the Tesla premium connectivity. It's an unfortunate deployment by MyQ in my opinion.
I use the premade Siri shortcuts to have the trunk open while I’m walking to my car in a parking lot. No need to sit there for two or three seconds for the trunk to decide to open up.
In regard to car wash mode. I have read a lot of comments saying you probably shouldn’t go through an automatic car wash with a Tesla. I know it won’t ruin it. What’s your overall opinion of course summer is easy to wash at home but not in winter time very tough to impossible to wash your car at home.
The only minus I’ve experienced with the drive thru car washes is the trim on my Y gets tarnished. I hear its due to the ph of the soaps and waxes they use. You can use a stainless steel wipe to fix that. It’s also difficult to get the bugs off the front and bird poo off the hood, but that I do on my own. With my latest Y I’ve never hand washed it only drive thru since day one and it’s fine.

@@msbgone There are car adapters on Amazon that turn your display on a split screen so you can use it for the Carplay. Look at around 6 seconds on the video. The screen show you carplay on the right side of the screen
What update is this. I have 2024.30.10. I said to the end BTW. This must be a newer version then. I don’t have auto frunk only auto trunk currently. Also I can only autoshift out of park not from reverse to forward and visa versa

My q does multiple garages. I have both my garages hooked up to it. Of course you need to identify which garage will activate when you near your home
