Thank you guys for all the great videos and details. Question? Can you please do takes with all the doors closed prior to opening the big garage doors to give examples or light penetration prior to opening the big doors. Light penetration will give an idea of air tightness. I'm sure folks would appreciate that who are considering the foam.
Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate it. Continue to leave comments letting us know what you would like to see more of. Here is a video where you can see us close a RUD and an OHD in the same building. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/AmcXki_gVxo/видео.html While filming this we actually saw an issue with the overhead door seal which is shown on there. We went back to fix it and spray foamed the building.
Ty for the reply, I actually watched that other video already but that building was not foamed yet. Just wanted to see the end result of a foamed building.
Good coverage of the full building envelope. Some discussion about 1" vs 2" spray foam with consideration of HVAC inside the building would be great. Specif ally the extra cost up front on spray foam vs HVAC cost over time.
We'll add this to the video ideas. Discussing of the two and when its recommended. We are looking to get other people on our channel who can speak on these topics as well. Thanks for the feedback and stay tuned!
Probably the most informative metal building video I've seen and I've been watching them for quite sometime. You actually explain the reasons for doing things one way vs another which seems to be lacking in many other videos. Thanks!
We appreciate that! We are alway learning and getting better. Industry is always changing and there is always room for improvement. We are sure you know that! Have a great weekend!
Thank you for the comment! We actually ALMOST made a giveaway to count the number of times he says this LOL We're all still trying to get use to being on camera
I will need a steel building when I buy more land for my bee farm operations with a production line. plus garage for barrels and a forklift. Probably a small office area as well with ac,shower to recover from all the hives.
What was the ballpark price for this job? And do you work in Kentucky if not do you recommend anyone in Kentucky. Thanks I like your style and honesty.
A pricing video will be coming out for this building this FRIDAY! Stay tuned for this. No we do not service KY Thomas. We appreciate the feedback and we hope the channel helps give you an idea for you to take to a builder in your area. Keep in mind: Pricing varies by location. Your local codes. ALSO, we do build differently as we have standards to WolfSteel on our projects. These are the companys I found with good reviews on google. I hope these help: - American Steel - Rhino Steel Buildings -Legacy Metals -Sturdi Built Barns
Good question! Choosing 1” or 2” depends on what will be your building usage. If your goal is to just mainly control the temperature inside your building, then 1” closed-cell spray foam can be used but may need to have 2” if there will be people who will be staying inside for a longer period. 2” closed-cell spray foam has higher R-value than 1” and it’s going to be a different requirement too if the building will be used for living space. Make sure you're subscribed to our channel so you'll be notified once we drop our new video. :)
There is a lot of factors: What size do you want your rooms? What layout? etc. We recommend for clients who want to live in the buildings to ensure they are working with an architect with knowledge of codes in Texas. We will go based off those plans. Do you guys take care of land clearing permits?
We do! IF we are doing the work as we handle the land clearing and demo as well!

Sounds like a cool project! We actually had a client build a building for his bee farm. We're seeing this more and more! Let us know if we can help!
I know you all don’t do it, but if you ever have info on how the frame for office on tubular/red iron is done would be great.
We got you Brad!
Is that 1" closed cell?
haha...answered 30 seconds later
Hahahaha glad we answered in video!
Thanks for sticking around to this long one!
how does the 1" in spray foam do to keep the temps down in the summer . And is it 1" on the ceiling too or thicker. Thanks in Advance

do most people get one inch spray foam? Is two inch not really worth it? Just curious. Love your guys channel. Make more videos!

Do metal buildings really sweat? I have a metal garage and it never has. Closed cell and then open cell on top seems like overkill to me.
What size building would I need for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom building

Do yall build glass garage doors?
You can get glass garage doors - hoping to get some of those on the channel. they are custom and pricey, but they look so nice.
What does this building run, with cement?
Shoot us a message for updated pricing
How deep is the footing?
Perimeter footings 12x36 with 12x18 interiors.
#4 rebar
Reminder: this is dependent on your ground/soil type & how off level you are.
This was exhausting to watch
This one was a long one!
