Great retrospective Blake. One thing that's hard to communicate in the spec and tech talk is that in the right hands, good footage is a given but what the the tech is doing is giving you back time. Less time altering sets and lighting, less time colour grading and now, less time, transferring footage.
This is not just a cost saving but a creative boon. If we've more time to grade we'll grade better. If we've more time to focus on the story over fighting limitations, the story gets better.

Hi Blake, this iPhone 6 footage looks really stunning! Were you using some additional lenses for this short or was it straight from the phone lens?
Thanks! Used the Moondog labs anamorphic lens on that particular short.

Yes, definitely. And it has been done before, many times actual - however, now with Apple log you can get a true log image and so the image quality and overall look will be the best it’s ever been. So go for it. 👍🏻
