- An experimental Short Film - 'HIDDEN' - made in 2022 by crafting pictures!
"It has been found. Below stone, wood and sea it is hidden right before our eyes."
This was our very first try using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and the Zhiyun Crane 3S.
We planned and shot the film in 2 days. Editing, music composing, vfx and grading took approximately 2-3 months to complete.

I completely agree with you. The color grading and cinematography is absolutely amazing in this short. I also love stories that are told through the eyes of a specific character. The fact that there’s no dialogue and only brief pieces of information given through the person’s phone in the form of text messages is more than enough for the audience to spin their own story as to what’s going on. Overall this short was brilliantly done and I’d love to see more of it play out. Kudos to the director, writer, and producer for making something special!👍🏻😎
I love short films, I love original stories, and I love stories that don’t answer every question. This is awesome. I could watch it over and over looking for hints and not care if I found nothing. So good!

i just started watching this and what I’m loving the most is that every short film I see filmed on the blackmagic is uploaded to RUclips in its true widescreen format meaning anyone who flips their iPhone 11s and up to the side the entire screen is filled I love it anyways back to the movie will edit when I’m done edit just watched the entire short loved it from start to finish I shoot with a 6K Pro myself and am currently producing a short film that we are filming entirely with the 6K pro y’all should definitely continue it the ending was very satisfying and had me wondering what next could happen cinematography was on point editing was on point color was on point I’ll give the acting a solid 8 but overall this is a well made short film production keep ‘em coming subscribed to your channel 🫡
The best part is that it's a gripping story ... and no one every says a word.

THIS IS CRAZY AF, it's beautiful and very much studied. The editing is a joy for a filmmaking eye.
I had been waiting for the text message from the Professor for what felt like forever. We were supposed to meet up and explore the hidden obelisk together, but he was running late. I started to worry as the storm clouds began to gather in the sky.
Just as I was about to give up and leave, I got a text message with coordinates. "Below stone, wood, and sea," it read. I knew right away what it meant. The quarry was only a few blocks away, and my satchel with the key glowed blue as I got closer to the water's edge.
As soon as I put the key in the obelisk, it sprang to life - revealing itself from under the water where it had been hidden all this time. It was an amazing sight!

It’s one thing to have an idea/story in your head…but to bring the rest of us along for the ride is amazing!

I do have a feeling that this was sort of inspired by the 2021 Dune, I mean..each scene gives off something different but yet connected..no dialogue nor a monologue but still a story was told, through senses of suspense, curiosity and a spectacle..absolutely love this..

The use of sound here is masterful from ambience to SFX...the visual story elements are also shot well using foreground elements and perspective to help create the tension. VFX work is stellar as well. Inspiring...

Epic. Id like to see more, i see so many comments underneath short films and reviews on bigger films of people lacking understanding. Quite honesty, its sad to see the decline in thought, discourse about underlying themes & inuendoes. This is more the creative side we need of the younger generations. We must grow our attention spans again.
This short film is very impressive. Weather, nackground music and mistery.
Not gonna lie, them shots were perfection. I particularly liked the opening sequence framing, and the other shot at 03:15. That was the best.

That was really, really good! I thought your choice of camera angles and movement was nearly pristine. I consider this one more bit of proof that the cinematographer can really drive a story with just good camera direction, placement, and movement along with great audio. Very, very well done, sir!

This portrayed so many emotions and that with zero dialogue, making me be even more attentive to what was going out. Simply stunning; the visuals, camera movements, editing, the exposure, and especially the sound design, were magnificent. I even cried because of the excitment, cause the soundtracks used and the sounds of water, steps and rain got me hook. I'll take this an example of a great short film, thank you so much for creating this masterpiece :") I'll die if you turn this into a feature screenplay

Nice man! But don't forget, the story is absolute KING! Before doing it, think - do you want to just create a practice film / test film to try your camera etc or do you want to truly make a good film..? You can really create an amazing film with any camera, as long as the story is engaging and meaningful😊

I feel this opens up the conversation as to why are people disappearing all over the world. Do we have portals all over the world where people are just falling into these portals and not coming back the same way. Who knows, so this would be a great movie for that discussion. Where are the people going in the forest? It's not just there, but cities, towns.
