10 лет назад проводила в последний путь мужа, которого продолжаю любить и будто ждать. Спросила "встретишь меня, когда придёт моё время" - встречу. До сих пор слышу "как же ты будешь без меня, моя хорошая"... не верится что так вот, рак, 33 года вместе счастливы, были. Сказал "не знаю как, но постараюсь быть рядом". Простите, нашло. Спасибо за жизненный фильм.

Здравствуйте. Есть хорошее утешение для людей от нашего Бога. Если вы верите в Бога и читаете его слово Библию, или хотя бы слышали об этой книге, то можете найти такой стих :" Тогда он отрëт всякую слезу с их глаз, и смерти уже не будет, ни скорби, ни вопля, ни боли уже не будет. Прежнее прошло". Никто из людей не может пообещать такого, а тем более выполнить. Вы можете увидеть своего мужа на земле и жить долго, нужно только полюбить слово Бога и поверить. Счастья вам и вашим близким!

А я 22 года без отца. Умирал у меня на руках. Мне никто его не заменил.
Ужас. Просто обрыдалась, даже не знаю почему. Нет, понимаю, потому, что опора ушла, люди, за которыми как за каменной стеной и которых любишь чем дальше, тем сильней. Отец был хороший и муж тоже замечательный был. 40 лет вместе. Неужели даже там никогда никогда не встречу его. Неужели они не ждут нас там. И зачем я этот фильм посмотрела.

@VDancer90 .... Thank you for your most heartfelt and sincere caring comment. It touched me so! My dear father passed away last year. He was 98 years old. We were extremely close. He was not only my Dad but he was a wonderful devout Christian and my best friend. Although I miss him more than words can say and still grieve today over his passing as I know I will continue to until the day I die, I can rest and feel happy knowing he's in a much better place with our Lord in Heaven where he always wanted to be. Still, I'm very lonely and alone now but life goes on. You just have to make the best of it in the midst of the loss. I know that we will meet again when my time comes so that alone gives me comfort. Until then, I continue to miss him dearly just as this amazing film depicts and try to live my life as my father would want me to do as well as my Father in Heaven. May God Bless and be with all daughters who have lost their beloved fathers and may it give them comfort to know that even though they're not with us physically they're with us in memory and spirit always. Such a wonderful heartwarming little film this is!

So Dad leaves and daughter returns year after year without his return.She is an old woman and finally walks out to where she finds Dad's boat where it had sunk so many years ago. It wasn't that her dad didn't return because he didn't care.It was because he had perished. She lies down inside the boat ruins and herself dies. In spirit she is a young girl and now sees her Father who is in spirit and they re unite. Death is the great equalizer.

Мой папа ушёл в 55... за газетой... и не вернулся. Сердечный приступ. Я его давно пережила.
И сейчас думаю: "Господи, какой же молоденький был!".. Виски только слегка засеребрились. Он был поэтом...
В те времена, по рассказам свекрови, получить похоронку считалось хорошо. Если похоронки не было - то предатель. И это тоже было больно.
Время расставило всë по местам. И с похоронками, и без.

У меня папу сбил автобус в мои 7 лет - вот как девочка из фильма бегаю и ищу его , а его нет давно. А жизнь моя проходит, зиму сменяет весна, весну лето, за летом осень . А в груди - тоска и вопрос «где ты, пап, почему ушёл и не простился?» …

I was 20 when my father was killed in a concentration camp (I watch him die) now I am 50 and still miss him a lot. Every time I think about him I feel like a child, lost and hoping he will show up and give me some advice. Be nice to your parents because you will know how much they mean to you once they are gone. Remember, even a smile is a great gift to your parents.

Beautiful. The circle of life. The bicycle (the wheels rolling) is a symbol of life.
At the beginning the little girl when she rides back to the tree, she passes by an old lady who is too weak to ride the bicycle as if she is at the end of her journey, but she pushes it anyway meaning that she is still alive.
The older the little girl gets, the younger are the other riders that she greets. It’s like the two sides of the wheel: they never meet, but where one side ‘once’ was, there comes the other.
At the end the little girl herself was an old lady and pushes the bike where a small girl rides beside her and greets her with a ‘ring’. Life goes on....
The old lady now goes to the same place where her father left the bike and took the boat. She didn’t understand it as a little girl why he was not coming back or maybe why did he leave (loose his life) so suddenly and the fact that she always went there to wait for him to come back can be interpreted as an denial that he had perished. Even she saw him leave his life, she couldn’t believe this has happened so unexpected because he was riding the bike beside her, he was living, he was not old and pushing the bike like an old man at the end of his life. He went unexpectedly. He got of the bike and went directly to the boat.
This animation leaves a lot to discuss. Just brilliant.
Nice interpretation. I didn't get the other characters' before reading your discussion. Moreover, there is something about seasons. They are portrayed so well too. And what haunts me more is the soundtrack. It's another subject to chew on.
Feeling the same way as I lose my father two months ago, suddenly, he kept his bicycle aside and took the boat..... left behind me waiting for him forever😢😭

do you know why she doesn't age back to a child but a young woman? she could have aged back to a little girl when she lost her father. I never have understood this!
@@polarisfgh Well, pardon me if I'm wrong. It also disturbed me but look, at last the old lady dies and meets her father after death. I think women appear in heaven with the appearance of young woman (according to Islam, it's said as far as I know). Both men and women appear in heaven with the appearance of the age of full bloom. May sound silly but I thought this way.

I recalled when I left my son to work overseas... My son was only 1 year and a half... He didn't know that it would be a long time before he could see me again... I left our house while he was watching me from the window...
When I was overseas my wife told me that my son was waiting for me at the window calling "Dayee, dayee..." repeatedly... It was my first time to know that I am called "Dayee" by my son...
My heart was like being crushed hearing this from my wife... my tears also flooded that day... I felt like returning home... but I have to endure so that I could give him a good future...
I wish life could be more smooth but the reality is not... I am still fortunate than the story... it doesn't matter whether it is a daughter or a son... a child left behind is a very painful thing...

I just hope that our story don't end up like the story....

@therandom3591 that may be true but a Man needs to do what he needs to. We can't control what happens in our absence. In time, when he has found his purpose he'll find his son and they'll make peace. Or he stays behind to be with a woman who might leave him anyway and a son who would blame him for not travelling away to secure a future for them. He's a hero in my book and courageous as fuck!
Судя по комментариям, многие не поняли сюжет. Отец не бросил девочку! Он хотел вернуться, но лодка утонула и он погиб. 😢 А она всю жизнь вспоминала его и ждала. И когда была уже старенькая, а озеро обмелело, то она нашла эту лодку, на которой уплыл её отец. А фоном звучат несколько разных музыкальных композиций, одна из них романс "В лунном сиянии".

Я за 54 г.не встретил Нелюбящих отцов . Есть не внимательные , безответственные , но все безумно любят своих детей . Те что в разводе , тоже любят и тоскуют по детям . Те что лишены возможности видеться и встречаться с детьми , также их любят , но всегда представляют их такими когда расстались , и часто позже при встрече не могут воспринять то что видят , совсем других , чужих , не родных . После таких встреч в основном общение прекращается . Так как оба чужие , хотя кровь одна . Печально конечно .

Btw, it just crossed my mind that it may appear that my parents are dead but they are not and I'm even living with them. They're healthy and fine. I have been crying due to some situations and incidents that made me realize what role they play in my life and I can't imagine losing them ever but I always fear that I will have to be on my own one day which is bound to happen.

@@user-co4kw7te1i К сожалению они в разуме живут в другом мире. Отец 8 лет после инсульта, в этом году не понимает где находится и порой спрашивает кто я. Да и маме 87 год, деменция и с трудом передвигается. Радуюсь, что летом есть возможность жить с ними на даче. На природе ухаживать легче. А вообще это очень тяжёлый труд. Пока это сам не испытаешь, не поймёшь другого. Это полностью служишь только им. Первое время было труднее морально, а сейчас учусь принимать со смирением.

Нас много с такой судьбой. И все говорят: пока были живы родители в любом виде, было ГОРАЗДО ЛЕГЧЕ..

My mom just linked me this video and now I’m crying so hard that tears even fell on my phone screen. My dad passed away when I was 7, like the little girl in this movie. The memories that I have with my dad are now so vague, I’m scared that one day I won’t even remember them. Even so, my heart is touched with this story because it reminded me of the longing for a father figure which I suppressed for the past 14 years.

Даже лет пятнадцать назад, совершенно случайно, зашла в организацию, с которой был связан мой отец, извините, просто зашла в туалет. Только зашла в кабинку и слышу разговор, как две женщины говорят о моëм отце!!!!!,что таких начальников нигде не видели и таких больше нет. У меня челюсть отвалилась и глаза выпучились . Его уже 20 лет нет и именно в этот момент я захожу туда, где ни разу не была. И тут такое. Я просто вышла с выпученными глазами и даже не сказала, что я его дочь. Это вообще что было????? Ведь есть же ангелы, которые живут, как люди. Видимо, это он. После его гибели творилось что-то неимоверное. Нам всем снились одни и те же сны и папа приходил во сне. Предупреждал о плохом и многое другое. Во сне мне многое рассказывал, помогал в делах . Не знаю что и думать. Извините за рассказ. Просто это всë непостижимо для нашего ума.

@@collinwadham6582 He was a police officer. Always busy. But he loved us a lot.He was so much caring father. He sacrificed his happiness for us. He died because of heart velves damage. He passed away when I was in class 8/9...Now my all brothers and sisters government service holders. Maximum government school teacher. Alhamdulillah. We got everything. But lost our most valuable part of life that we called "Father " 😔😔😔😔

In the film the father dies, that's why he doesn't come back... You've got to be kidding me! I left my two young daughters at home in Spain for a three week trip to Africa to help my mother (aged 91) pack up her home so she could return with me and live with us. Then Coronavirus struck. I am in quarantine with my mother and still do not know when I'll see my kids again. Its been four months so far... I get that I haven't gone to war and will eventually return, but my girls are finding it very difficult and watching this, and imagining my little ones waiting and hoping for my return, had me bawling my eyes out.
Oh, and we cycle together, go figure

I only know one thing. Any relation which gives u unconditional love n care will stay with u lifetime. It doesn't matter that it lives physically with you... As a nurse I worked in some nursing homes and I often saw the elderly just 'dropped off' with never a visitor and I knew the ones who had grown kids. It was very, very sad and often they would sit in the lobby in their wheelchair looking out the window, waiting for the visitor that never came.
"Dead people receive more flowers than living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude" (Anne Frank). That sums up the nursing home issue perfectly. And that people always think there is still time. Until there is no more.

Oh God, don't ever make any parent burry his/her little angel! Letting someone go after just few years or even few months of attachment is supposed to be very painful and deserves everyone's sympathy.

Пусть так.. но я всё хожу и хожу к тому «дереву с велосипедом», пытаясь разглядеть в случайных прохожих - пожилых седоволосых мужчинах - своего папу… каждый раз надеюсь случайно столкнуться где-то в толпе с прищуренными улыбающимися и такими любимыми глазами, и каждый раз тщетно.. Умом понимаю, что тщетно, но душа каждый раз всё зовёт и зовёт меня к «тому дереву»… и каждый раз засыпая, лелею надежду, что встречусь с папой во сне и как в детстве прыгну с разбега к нему в объятья, приложу к его тёплой груди своё ухо и услышу его самый добрый и самый ласковый в мире голос: «Доченька моя…»
Так он и есть во всех людях, не надо разглядывать- просто знайте что он есть во ВСЕХ Людах что вам встречаются, но маме главное он в Вас. Он передал вам этот факел жизни, и всё идёт свои чередом.
‘Любимая доченька’ говорите себе САМИ в зеркало, и заботьтесь о себе как лучший родитель.
Люди живы пока жива память о них...
Когда родители уходят в вечность, постепенно все становится как в дымке… Но с годами, со временем это даже в дымке- проявляется четче и четче, явственней, и ты даже помнишь запахи и чувства, ощущения, как- будто возвращаешься, просыпаешься.
