- Sorry for the delay everyone - things have been a bit more chaotic than anticipated!
For this episode of Tokyo Tuner, I wanted to prove that the youth in Japan who are crazy about cars are still out there. We have heard a few owners in the past talk about how the youth really aren't interested in cars now and days in Japan (Tokyo especially). Normally I tend to agree with them, but when I met Noji-San and his time attack 180sx at Tatsumi, I just knew I had to get his opinion on the matter.
So sit back and relax as we dive into the mind of Noji and discuss a little bit on what it is like being young and into cars here in Tokyo, and why he decided to build a time attack 180sx in the first place.

1m3s on TC2000, on radial tire (not A050 semi-slicks) only 350hp and near full weight is quite good. Testament to how good S-Chassis suspension geometry can be, and his talent behind the wheel. 59s are totally within reach, I hope the owner exceeds that goal.

I agree with that feeling. Which was why I really wanted to share Noji's story because it feels like it is so rare here. They are out here, just a bit more hidden
Yeah I think the car scene in Japan is slowly dying which is sad to see… I’m just glad there are still people my age and older still into cars at Japan.

I didnt used to care about cars till I was 18,and got so low to the point of giving up,then cars saved me after I drove one. And that one became my first car,and its still sitting in my garage.

great video of one of my all time favourite cars, i had a white s13 about 14 years ago. currently have a black e46.,. wont let this one go,, maybe ill have to swap the st6 for an electric motor one day but im holdin out as long as possible

I love it. I love S-Chassis especially S13 and RPS13 types. Unfortunately, those two types of Silvia mostly known into drifting. Found this video, it really impressed me so much to watch S13 for grip. I mean there have been many Silvia for grip as well like Yashio Factory's S15. I love this. I hope I can see more of S13 grip cars in future with its authentic SR20 engines.
Listening to it accelerate, reminds me of Gran Turismo 3 cars, and I like it Kkk also, I liked how he chose a different approach from the "very-usual" drift scene, and it really worked well

TTuner, I absolutely love every video you put out. Just a tip, I may have found a translation error at 5:36. Instead of "I make sure to was my car every week", did he mean to say "I make sure to wash my car every week"? Something minor, but you put out stellar vids everytime and I wanted you to know. I can't wait for the next one!

Yeah. I like the car. I too have a S13(200SX) with the SR20DET(not stock) I got some Tomei parts in it. Im very happy with my car. I like the front spoiler on this car but roads here in my country means that spoiler wont last long. Lol.

Hahah yess! It sounds silly but it takes a bit of time filming those intros. If We are working on a tight timeline (IE owner has to go or something happens while filming) then it gets cut out :( But I promise it didn't go anywhere! Just ran out of time. Thank you for always watching !

Legal might be a releative term, but if he has updated his shaken (MOT) as a widebody, then it MIGHT be. Usually, if it fits within the calmed width of the car, then its ok.
Are you editing videos with a single speaker ? His voice is only in the left channel.
I honestly not sure what happened there... It plays on speakers on my machine / phone but others have said the same thing >.>

Agree with the last statement, enjoy the car you want even if you have to be in debt. Lol
I disagree, don't buy something you can't afford. Too often young guys think they can buy a luxury car that will just make them unable to pay their bills. Know your financial limits. Things like food, health and a home a more important than a car. Also, a fun car doesn't need to be expensive.
@@JackSparrow-tn6ic I disgaree, especially in a country like Japan where natural disasters can end your life. Enjoy your life with the things you desire. Yes you'll be in debt for years but you won't have regrets that you didn't enjoy this thing or that thing you've been thinking about your whole life. And yes, a small car like the Toyota Vitz can also be a fun car. I've owned one and it was a blast after serious modifications.
@@AssadJawaid But it is so very unlikely to die early. A car can always be enjoyed later. I can' t tell you how to spend your money when you make your own money and noone depends on you, but once you have children or need to support someone, you better not act hedonisticly.

Before you settle down and have a family, you should enjoy that car or splurge on what you consider to be enjoyable rather than try to do it while raising children or supporting your other half. Also, the older you become the less you can get down under the car and do things yourself. What's the enjoyment in that then? A 55+ year old man/woman won't have the same energy to remove an alternator vs a 25 year old.

The same reason why your caps button is broken? not sure but it was all fine on my end. Then again, for some reason the dialogue was playing only out of the left side for some where as it plays perfectly fine on my machine / phone o.o
Ill be honest Ive been following the channel for some years now but the subtitles and editing towards that should really improve.. the intro and overall feel been top notch but the subtitle work is always half done and looks.. eh. I know you probably dont have much time but you can do better in the way you present that 🤔👍

Not sure how you would improve them? They are perfect, not to intrusive in the video but still clear and easy to read.
I'm not sure how good the translation is as I don't know Japanese but they always make sense and feel like they are conveying what the car owner is trying to say
@@TokyoTuner Well Ron you could add shadows to the actual text or change from that bog-standard arial or whatever that is, haha. I just think there are many ways to improve this.. I'm a big fan of the aspect ratio of the video but why not use the subtitles within that ratio instead?
@@XxStreetShredderxX thank you for your input! Honestly I hate it when the text is in the video like that. Then I would be worried about the text showing through the background. I also have a really big following outside of the States so I try to make the font easy for everyone read so I go with simple times font and big size haha. I could see if I can make it a little bit more cleaner with out impending on the ease of reading ^^

ナンバープレートは登録情報を示すためのもので、前から見ても後ろから見ても判別するために前後組になってるわけで、それが装着されてなかったら無意味なんだよ。クルマ好きならそれくらい知っとけよ
