I purchased a set of Bose Frames to use while watching TV. My hearing is impaired and streaming through my hearing aids did not give me good sound quality. The Frames sound great, but there is one major problem: I can't control the volume. My Dish Network Joey set-top box lacks a volume control for its Bluetooth output. Surprisingly, Bose confirms that the Frames have no way to control the volume either. Foolishly, I ordered a set of prescription lenses for the Frames before they arrived. So, I have a $500 set of clunky glasses with built-in FIXED VOLUME earbuds.
I believe on the Bose Connect app you can up the volume even farther than you usually would. I agree there should have been a volume rocker included. I'm waiting on my lenses from Visionworks.
$20 sunglasses + $50 old-quality earbuds = Bose Frames Alto. Price should be NO MORE than $79 max. $199 is totally ridiculous for something without bass & for such an inconvenient bulky form factor. $200 it needs excellent bass and should be able to fold up thin. Also, why didn't they make it able to charge in its case??? The case itself should have a battery & be chargeable and charge the glasses while in it as a cradle, so you can have it safely in the case while charging in your car, etc.
Bose have aviation set of headphones (Bose A20). For pilot - polarized is unuseful, cuz they need to see the avionics. So maybe that's why Bose decided to not polarize it.
This is why I hate Polarized glasses.... i can't see the display on a lot of things I use , which makes you have to pull them down constantly... The Speedometer on my bike is an important one that I need in sunlight most times
Dude, know your product before you talk about. The speaker it totally not where you mentioned in your video. Right after that, you loss my interest. Easy way to know where a speaker is. Put the device near your ear to find out. # CredibityShot.

bro, the speakers aren't where you mentioned them. they are in front of the ear, not behind. those one you pointed out are probably the bass or speaker for calls. know the product before you post it.
You don't have to say do have, do give.... you can just say have or give. Polarized lenses interfere with your phone screen but are available at an extra cost
Thanks for the review. When my hair is wet, I'm limited in what headphones I can wear. I used to wear Bragi Dash, but they stopped working (after swimming) and the company stopped making them. Speaking of which, Bragi did have "4D" AI tech - or they tried. It failed. Maybe Bose will execute it better.
Sorry, once he pointed to the wrong place to indicate where the speakers are, credibility went out the window and I lost interest. Even a cursory look at the Bose website shows where the speakers really are.

Al Romig Try holding down the gold button on the right temple while you turn your head left for down and right for higher volume.

Polarization makes your Phone Screen go dark -- they probably decided that you'd be using these while looking at your phone often.
HOW ABOUT PRESCRIPTION LENSES?
I don't believe they offer prescription lenses at this time.
Have a search for reglazing your glasses to find a online specialist that you can post them to with your prescription

Right...I was thrown by that...LOL. They literally have little speaker boxes in the arms...and he says the ends...LOL
