I totally agree with you on this. I’m actually tired of seeing so many videos from other influencers always talking about the latest makeup must haves. I mean seriously why do we need to be constantly purchasing makeup when we haven’t even gone through what we have? When I look at all my eyeshadow pallets I wonder why I would buy any more. It’s ridiculous to keep up the latest and “ greatest” in makeup. I personally love that you focus on skincare. Keep up the great work! 💜
Agree. Dislike the obsession with the newest. Filters to product companies paying for people to basically gaslight their audience on all platforms is an issue. Especially on RUclips prefer to look the same online as well as off with the best skin possible. Kardashians/Jenners use filters, can afford cosmetic surgery, plastic all of it. Their look isn't achievable naturally. They are a terrible example of a brand. Can't stand those types. Prefer to see achievable by average workers. Realistic. I'm not against plastic surgery or procedures issues are the money grab. Prefer to be a better example. A body that fits you naturally without a need to feel you are inferior thanks to those unhealthy ideology that Kardashians/Jenners brand pushed. It's also dangerous. I enjoyed these tips. I'd love more products that are brown mascara reddish brown. Hard to find black is too harsh for me. I put on foundation for an interview it TRASHED my skin full on breakout pissed off. I'm a redhead so, always preferred natural makeup to none. I found I have no wrinkles now. Skin gets pissed off at most products being sensitive. It's very costly not everyone can afford to keep buying. That seems to be the point for profit.
Loved your message in the beginning of this video! I'm inching up to 30 and stopped wearing foundation probably 2 years ago per your suggestions and my skin is so much better for it. Looking so fresh faced and pretty today Brianna!
I agree! I’ve been hardly wearing foundation this past year and my skin looks so much better! I can’t go without spf, mascara and lip balm or gloss! :)
I’m totally with you! I’m 47 and literally am down to mascara, lip gloss and brow. I feel super gorgeous without it. I sadly giggle at all of my expensive makeup that I no longer wear.
Agree! I feel less makeup makes me look younger for sure! Sometimes I wanna try to newest eye look etc, I always regret, focusing on skincare and minimal makeup PERFECT
I completely agree with you! I’m 26 & hateeee wearing a lot of makeup especially thick foundation yuck haha I hate the way it feels on my face. Less is more 😊 & your beautiful!! Your right you don’t need makeup your natural beauty out shines it all
I’m only 21 but I 100% agree that makeup can sometimes age you more. I feel so much more confident having barely anything on vs. a full face, you have to constantly worry about creasing and smile lines and how shiny you look. It’s just too much. Plus my skin is always SO MUCH MORE CLEAR when I skip foundation for a while.
I'm with Brianna on this 100%. As I'm approaching 40 , I'm definitely seeing that too much makeup ages me . Less is more for sure. Tinted mineral spf , bb creams/beauty balm etc But no foundation....even though I used to love foundation back in a day. Now I find that I look younger without the foundation, plus your skin looks healthier
Brianna, you have reached a place of euphoria, happiness and feeling so so comfortable in your own skin it shows!!! Your positive high energy, your passion and Love for what you do is palpable - thank you for being your Beautiful Authentic self. 🥰
I wear foundation pretty regularly. But I do recall when I was in basic military training for the Air Force back in the day, not wearing any foundation or makeup for eight weeks, and my skin looked so healthy and beautiful.
Couldn’t agree with you more! And I’m 29. Especially wearing a mask it feels gross to wear as much makeup as I used to! I like lighter weight products now
Hi Bri - I agree with you when it comes to wearing foundations. I have oily skin and prefer wearing very light products on my skin. I love wearing tinted moisturizers and BB Creams and would love to try the Revisions Truphysical. I noticed there are three different types of the Revisions on your website. Can you do a review on all three and point out the differences between them.
I believe that less is more. I’ll be 65 years young this month and people think I’m in my 40s. I don’t wear foundation,. I wear the Revision color spf with the color science. My skin looks AMAZING but again I use all medical grade skin care. Lately I’ve been wearing cream blush and very light eye shadow, mascara and minimal eye pencil. Great video Brianna. I’m so glad you are back ❤️
I am 60 this year and I agree with you. Less is better for me. I look healthier and feel better about my skin since I have been following your lead. Thank you.
Hi Brianna despite having used skincare since my early teens, at 49 I need a little coverage. I have fairly smooth skin and never wore foundation at all, until I developed rosacea. The redness needs a little bit of coverage. Due to being extremely pale tinted spf's always look orange on me, so instead I wear normal spf and some bb cream/tinted moisturiser. Concealer covers the extra redness peeking through. I like a light coverage to be honest. I only use a little bronzer in the Summer, but I need some blush as I'm so pale. I only wear a little makeup when I'm leaving the house (currently in full lockdown here in Scotland, so only out once a week to the grocery store). I like soft pretty makeup on women as we get older and would never use as much as i see on youtube. For a night out (if such a thing ever happens again) I like a smoky eye (as I'm still a rock chick at heart), but still keep the rest fairly soft/natural. I don't have the budget for laser (to get rid of the visible capillaries left behind by the rosacea), which are very obvious on my extremely pale skin. I want to cover them - so I do. I think we all have to decide for ourselves how much (or little) makeup we want to wear. I'm not keen on heavy makeup on older dry skin (as it can look cakey), but that's my own personal aesthetic. No shade or shame on others who want to wear a full face everyday - if that's how they feel beautiful then that's great too. My bb cream/tinted moisturisers do have some additional skincare ingredients and don't seem to cause my skin any problems. My skin is very reactive so I have to be cautious what I use anyway. Best wishes.
Being 49 now I look at my tons of makeup and idk what to do with all that. I was crazy. The majority of them I’ve never touched. I prefer that you talk about simple looks and skincare as you are doing. Love you ❤️
I believe that my daily make up should be an extension of my skincare ... hope you’ll do a clean make up video sometime .. I highly recommend the ILIA soft focus powder & mascara - I LOVE the colorscience 3 in 1 🙌🏻 when I need extra coverage I mix with the fit glow with it - never fell in love with the Osmosis powder ... I’ll try again ... the 100Pure liner smudged on me badly (so bummed) - I ♥️ the revision/colorscience Glow combo 🥰 - I so agree with less make up the older we get 😫😂
A little late here, but you are 100%; less is more. Too much of anything settles in the creases, especially as our skin dries from aging, and we end up looking older. I focus on hydrating my skin, go towards luminous, and focus on neutral, warm tones on my eyes.
I actually started my channel with skincare....all my first videos were skincare and then got into makeup as well. Which I will still do but my main focus is skin health still :)
Thank you so much for this awesome video!! And your skin, make up looks excellent, I love it!! I just turned 40 and I have no clue what foundation to wear anymore, my skin changed and it seems like I’m trying to get it know my skin and body once again lol 😂 so less is best and I really liked that. I like the more natural look over the pile up look .
Is the revision spf similar in “color” to the elta md tinted spf? Is that why you add the bronzer for more color? I’m also loving wearing less make up as I get older so thank you for this video! Loved it 😘
I absolutely love the combo of the Revision and Color Science. I think it looks so much better than most foundations. I love that they are mineral based and give you a nice glow. I don’t have the Osmosis powder though so will have to get that ASAP! I’m making a list. It is shameful honestly how much we can spend on makeup. I’d rather spend that money on good skin care! Thank you so much!
I SO agree! I feel disgusted about how much makeup I have and spent money on when in all reality it was a waste! Just a few great staple products is all we need :)
YOU ARE A FLAWLESS KWEEN!!! I’m 24 and feel like you’ve really set me up to look amazing when I’m older. I also pass along all of your tips to my mom and she loves your advice :)
Loving your videos!! Such good recommendations. Must try the under eye setting powder. I usually play up my eyes then just use tinted Elta MD sunscreen and osmosis powder on face since wearing mask (I’m a NP). So glad your back with videos.
I agree!! When covid hit, working in health care I wore a mask everyday for 10 hours a day. I completely stopped wearing foundation. Maybe some mascara buuuut that stopped too. All I wear now, Nov 2023, is elta MD tinted sunscreen and mascara. Plus I had my eyebrows microbladed. My skin has never looked better even being 45
Love 100% pure. The mascara is my HG . Great color doesn't mk my eyes or yes my lashes itch. Lasts for over 10 hours. Also using the bamboo powder. It's my weekend powder for running errands and looking put together. Great video.
I’m turning 42 in a few weeks and I have gone minimal. I only do full face makeup looks when I have time to play with my makeup or for special occasions.
I want to try mixing spfs instead of foundation which would be a huge but healthy change. Will you please do a quick tutorial of your look? So glad you’re back! 💜
I will be 40 this year and I am learning that my skin is looking and feeling better with out makeup! I invested in the Osmosis and Peaches skincare line... my skin has never looked better! I love that your content is less makeup and more good skin tips, like diet and products! Your skin looks better and better each video! Have a great day!
Ty ty I agree as well no need to Add some much crap in our faces ty for sharing and teaching me the great products ur using I’m ready to Go purchase them now lol
You are THEE BEST!! Grabbed the Revisionist + 3-in-One Eye from your site! Thank you for the 20% off - I never regret taking your advice!!!! Cheers to the 40’s, baby!!!
Yes yes and yes ... all the expensive makeup trends that pop out every season are over the top. I’m also finding that the beauty products I want to invest in are skincare related. If I’m going to spend good chunks of money ,I want to see results that will last , not wash off. 😉😘😘😘
Can you please show us how you use the color science and revision spf together? Do you mix them in your hands and put all over or use it in different areas on the face? Thank you!
Hi Carrie! Yes I mix them in my hands...I did a video on that some months back but I just take some of each, mix in my palm and then apply with my hands like a moisturizer :)
I went to dinner with a friend for my birthday a few nights ago and I didn’t wear much makeup. My friend said to me that I looked amazing and I told her I’m using Osmosis and Truth Treatments and minimal makeup. 😊
Quick question about the Osmosis Pressed Base. When ordering it through SkinTruth, does it come with the compact? Or is it just the refill only? Thank you!!
Me too! I’m 42 & makeup makes me look older, the few times I’ve worn it, & my crows feet were like BAM! In a bad way… and it’s so damn confusing! So many products! So many vids re contouring! I’m in uncharted waters. Thanks for making this simple and doable!
Yes!! I haven’t worn foundation in probably 6 years and people will comment on how pretty my skin is and I’m 40!! Also there are so many allergens such as fragrance in foundation which isn’t good for your skin.
This is so perfect!!! I literally can’t tell you what a difference not wearing so much makeup has done for my skin. I’m a true spf mixologist😂😂thanks to u!! I love wearing less makeup despite my skin not “perfect”.. and I realize how much $$ I spent on having so many products I didn’t need!!!!! Loved these products❤️❤️happy to spend my $$ on good skincare😘
I'm in my late 40's and I haven't worn foundation in years because it settles into fine lines and wrinkles and I now look better without it for that reason. I'm looking for a new SPF but I haven't found one that doesn't break me out on my cheeks after a week or so of use. I have normal to dry skin and I'm thinking of trying the Revisions one you recommended. I have their eye creme and love it!
Less is definitely more as you age! 48 here and hardly wear foundation anymore. Will try that combo when I run out of my Elta MD! Thank you for sharing. Glad your back!!
Also I started actually using eyeshadow around my eye “bags” mine aren’t very pronounced, but I have upturned eyes. This enlarged my eyes about 20%. I learned this from Julia Adams, who is probably 23 years younger than me.
Hi there, I’m 42 yrs old and I’m super interested in trying the spf tinted moisturizer you are wearing, I clicked on the link to the website and noticed there are no color options, I’m very fair skinned & I wouldn’t want it to be mismatched with my neck, does this tinted moisturizer adapt to all skin tones?
These products sound amazing however, they are extremely expensive. Do you have any videos on more affordable options?? Just came across your channel and thought I would ask.
100% omg you are so spot on-I know this is an older video but everything you said in the first minute is exactly that. It’s interesting-I’ve sort of circled back. Circa 1997 I was wearing a wash of eye shadow…and red lipstick. A light to medium foundation (or NOTHING-not kidding-because I’ve been wearing SPF 30-100 since I was 19), an ELf powder-the pressed one in the silver case-or the Kosas-Some mascara, and Hourglass Microbrow- and that is it. That’s my jam.
@@BriannaStanko so glad I found you. Finally someone around my age just on the same page. I’m 48. My focus has just been on nutrition and a SIMPLE skincare regime…getting sleep…eliminating fools from my life 🤣
@@BriannaStanko I also went through this crazy stage where I was trying out complicated skin care stuff, but then I broke out all the time-which I hadn’t in years. I’ve found that just exercising -drinking water-eating Whole Foods-using a plant based toner (I use Haru Haru)…a moisturizer (I use Embryolaisse), a face oil (Helios by Earth Harbor) and La Roche Posay 100 SPF -that’s it. I have dry skin and don’t break out, so my goal is just hydration and relaxation. The constant makeup releases -even with foundation -is insane. I just try to minimize that and focus on things like my best assets-I’m lucky I can wear red lipstick…so I just count my blessings. Smiling and a flirting with eyes is far more potent than a Pat McGrath palette.
what else that is potent? Perfume-something else people do not understand. The best /highest end perfumes use the purest essential oils that exist. I just think people are in large part looking at everything in a very superficial way or buying in to marketing stuff without educating themselves. Me, walking through one spritz of Mon Paris will not do more damage than others drowning themselves in degraded essential oils. Were they to look into it all on their own they’d understand that their “Detorra” or “Young Living” essential oils are paltry in comparison to Mademoiselle or Mon Paris, Black Opium, etc.
I just turned 40 and trying to find my way lol everyone says I look super young so I’m like should I wear foundation? But I’m starting to see aging signs so I don’t know what I’m gonna do . But it’s so good to hear we don’t have to wear all that foundation and concealer
Love Love this video Hun! I'm 46 and I don't like wearing very much makeup. Already have some products but definitely I will try the others! ❤ Also I got the Osmosis Wellness Recovery and was wondering how you take it or recommend? Can you mix it with something to help with the taste? Thank you Beautiful! Hope you have a Fabulous Day!❤
I quit working for clinique counter at the end of 2019, and since i dont wear makeup everyday anymore I notice a huge difference in my face. Probably cuz i tossed their makeup out LMAO! no but in all seriousness as much as I love makeup, i am happy that 2020 killed the urge of me of buying new makeup. I appreciate all the makeup I have and I feel great taking my time to know what products works on me and what doesnt.
Brianna, do you think the Osmosis baked powder is as good at the Charlotte Tilbury powder; is it simillar? I love Charlottes Airbush Flawless Finish. I use the 2 all over and 1 under my eyes with a damp sponge. I started skincare seriously later 50s and am now 60 and agree with you regarding foundation. A special mixture of quality tinted sunscreen with light powder is perfect:)
Can you please do a video on the look you wear in this video? I am curious asto not wearing bronzer. In the early 80tish and 90tsh no one wore bronzer contour
I love your channel BreAhna and I love that you focus on skin care and some on make up. I’ve been listening to you for a very long time so I follow a lot of your advice. Precisely my brow is a must have along with Mac gigablack lash and lash paradise mascara ..I use these most every day and I can’t leave the house without all three LOL
I’m w/ you I only wear my Elta MD tinted sunscreen, and 100% Pure fruit pigmented powder foundation over the top. I would love to try the Osmosis powder! I’m guessing I might be the same color as you, but not sure?!🥰
Hello Brianna I have another question my ride or die concealer for years now is the Dermablend cover care how do you compare the coverage to the colorsscience total eye in 1 ?
L’oreal is also a mascara I tend to always come back to. But right now I’m REAAAAALLY liking the UOMA beauty drama bomb extreme volume mascara 👌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I totally agree with you on this. I’m actually tired of seeing so many videos from other influencers always talking about the latest makeup must haves. It’s ridiculous to keep up the latest and “ greatest” in makeup. I personally love that you focus on skincare. Keep up the great work! 💜
You are absolutely correct! and if you look at all those colors that come out... they all are the same. When enough is going to be enough.
Thank you Renee!! I totally agree....we only need a few staple products!
I’m 42 and feel the very exact same way!As we age, less is better!
Loved your message in the beginning of this video! I'm inching up to 30 and stopped wearing foundation probably 2 years ago per your suggestions and my skin is so much better for it. Looking so fresh faced and pretty today Brianna!

Thanks Maria!
Since I discovered you and the two Bens. I dont need makeup anymore. Thank you for everything❤
What is the two Bens?
The two bens???
I think she refers to Ben Fuchs from Truth Treatments and Ben Johnson from Osmosis Skincare. I know kind of confusing 😂
@@anga8122 do they each have a channel???
Same! 😂
I completely agree with you! I’m 26 & hateeee wearing a lot of makeup especially thick foundation yuck haha I hate the way it feels on my face. Less is more 😊

You are so right!! All these makeup Crazy! I use my bronzer as my eye shadow now. I’m turning 52 this year and just buy the essentials when I’m out.
I love bronzer as eyeshadow...I do that too ;)
So glad you are back! What eyeshadow are you wearing? It's bright and natural and I love it! Thanks
I’m 53 and totally agree with you about make up as we get older. You are gorgeous girl!
Completely agree. Rather have best natural skin possible. Minimal makeup at all.

Yes yes and yes ... all the expensive makeup trends that pop out every season are over the top. I’m also finding that the beauty products I want to invest in are skincare related. If I’m going to spend good chunks of money ,I want to see results that will last , not wash off. 😉😘😘😘
I use all of these products except the brow pencil and the Lash Paradise. Love them all and have purchased over and over!
@@BriannaStanko Thank you very much for the response! I will have to try them together!
Thank you!!
Hi! Its the compact :)
Me too! I’m 42 & makeup makes me look older, the few times I’ve worn it, & my crows feet were like BAM! In a bad way… and it’s so damn confusing! So many products! So many vids re contouring! I’m in uncharted waters. Thanks for making this simple and doable!
Yes! At 53 I wear no foundation. Too much cakey? makeup isn’t a good look. Love your hair like that, so cute!❤️
Thanks Holly!
I love this video . You look awesome . Can you do one video on what you eat in day / workouts etc
I TOTALLY AGREE!!! Less is MORE!! Especially after 40!! Im 41, and I totally get it!!! Thank you for being honest!!
Yes girl! 🙌🏼❤️
Hi Brianna! Awesome products! I used them myself. I'm curious, do use a brush or just your hands to apply them?
I'm in my late 40's and I haven't worn foundation in years because it settles into fine lines and wrinkles and I now look better without it for that reason. I'm looking for a new SPF but I haven't found one that doesn't break me out on my cheeks after a week or so of use. I have normal to dry skin and I'm thinking of trying the Revisions one you recommended. I have their eye creme and love it!
Less is definitely more as you age! 48 here and hardly wear foundation anymore. Will try that combo when I run out of my Elta MD! Thank you for sharing. Glad your back!!
Thank you Michele!
I could never give up my bronzer!! But as always u are looking gorgeous!! Great video!
I love the Pat M under eye powder omg. Thanks for mentioning long ago. Love
Skin care is very very important and do not wear foundation cause my skin is good.. I agree with you!
Thanks Marlene!
Also I started actually using eyeshadow around my eye “bags” mine aren’t very pronounced, but I have upturned eyes. This enlarged my eyes about 20%. I learned this from Julia Adams, who is probably 23 years younger than me.
I love this video!!! Brianna knows her stuff! So thankful for the last few videos just what I needed to hear! THANK YOU!!
Thank you Kristen!!
Thank you I love ur honesty
I am with you.....I intend to buy that Colourscience Glow but I don’t need any more makeup.
Mascara will be purchased every three months.
I would rather hear about skincare...your right spending way too much on makeup just trying to cover up the skin issues. Thank you for keeping real!!
These products sound amazing however, they are extremely expensive. Do you have any videos on more affordable options?? Just came across your channel and thought I would ask.
I started using the Mac mascara with your recommendation years ago and I still love it and always have to have a backup.
Yes!! Thank you! ❤️❤️
@@BriannaStanko so glad I found you. Finally someone around my age just on the same page. I’m 48. My focus has just been on nutrition and a SIMPLE skincare regime…getting sleep…eliminating fools from my life 🤣
@@lilg3514 lol love it!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I agree with you pilling on makeup you do not need.
I agree with you!
I just turned 40 and trying to find my way lol everyone says I look super young so I’m like should I wear foundation? But I’m starting to see aging signs so I don’t know what I’m gonna do . But it’s so good to hear we don’t have to wear all that foundation and concealer
Absolutely! I share many great makeup options on my channel for us over 40 ❤️❤️
Love Love this video Hun! I'm 46 and I don't like wearing very much makeup. Already have some products but definitely I will try the others! ❤ Also I got the Osmosis Wellness Recovery and was wondering how you take it or recommend? Can you mix it with something to help with the taste? Thank you Beautiful! Hope you have a Fabulous Day!❤
Love every single one of products you talked about. Just have a question can you ship to UK
This great if you are 41 but what if you are older and have fine lines ? Wouldn’t this show lines more? What would you use instead?
Brianna, do you think the Osmosis baked powder is as good at the Charlotte Tilbury powder; is it simillar? I love Charlottes Airbush Flawless Finish. I use the 2 all over and 1 under my eyes with a damp sponge. I started skincare seriously later 50s and am now 60 and agree with you regarding foundation. A special mixture of quality tinted sunscreen with light powder is perfect:)
Ok your right Can you please tell us what you’ve been putting on your skin? Like skincare
I love how you talk about skin care. Skin care is priority 😇 and you look fabulous. You don’t even look 30 years old 🥰
I’m so glad you are back! You are awesome.
thank you!
Can you do your makeup using the sunscreen for your foundation? An updated makeup routine! Thanks!
Are these products safe for sensitive, roscea and dry/combo skin?
I’m w/ you I only wear my Elta MD tinted sunscreen, and 100% Pure fruit pigmented powder foundation over the top. I would love to try the Osmosis powder! I’m guessing I might be the same color as you, but not sure?!🥰
That RevitaLash serum is no joke! It has transformed my lashes! Thanks, Brianna
its THE BEST!! Thanks friend! XOXO
I love your video Brianna! Thank you so much!! Have a wonderful day!!! 💗
