The RG is the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for both speed and strength. This RG6003FM model has a gorgeous flamed maple top over a mahogany body and a Wizard III neck shape that offers maximum comfort and speed. Its fingerboard is rosewood with 24 jumbo frets for bigger note bends and it also comes with dual Ibanez INF pickups that are wired to a 5-way switch for a variety of coil combinations and sounds. A fixed bridge and Black hardware complete the list of metal appointments. Видеоклипы
This guitar is amazing for the money but....
The black model does pick up a noticeable green hue to it in most well lit environments, I don't like that I would prefer it to just be black.
The volume knob is annoyingly close to the bridge and I've knocked my volume down accidentally several times already. Makes me nervous about using it in a live gig, would be pretty embarrassing.
But tone wise, and in terms of just general feel and quality, this guitar is amazing for the price. Mine stays in tune very well also. Just some insight for anyone considering this guitar.
I literally just bought this yesterday at guitar center lol
how is it?
@@cfh0611 man I wanted to know too but it’s been two yrs lmao
3 yrs **
I think he's going to reply in 2022.
@@BunkMasterFlex77 I’ve got faith lmaooo
I played a show in an old Opera House with a Mexican band that plays Cumbia and Norteno, using this guitar, and wearing a Gregg Allman T-Shirt from his show I saw two weeks before he died.
I LOVE this guitar. It is super versatile. The output isn’t as “fat” as it is on my Les Paul Classic with 57 pickups. But it’s also $1500 cheaper.
It’s also about a thousand pounds lighter, and I dig playing something a little different.
This guitar is WAAAAAAY under priced for how good it is. I would get one if you can. I got mine for $250. The sound is worth $550 easy.
An update, I put in some after market pickups that cost about $180 and sold my Les Paul. I love this guitar.
@@fartslinga3539 oh yeah. Especially with the after market pickups, it’s very nice. Whenever I talk to anyone about getting a guitar for a lower price, this is the one I suggest. The versatile sounds with being so light weight does it for me.
@@fartslinga3539 that’s too bad. Never had an issue with mine.
What pickups did you put in? Thinking of getting this guitar
@@restimulating Black Winter from Seymour Duncan. Any decent after market will be a good upgrade, as the pickups are pretty weak on this guitar. Everything else is great on it though.
Great players in these demos of this guitar but for some reason the tone always sounds a bit thin or tinny to my ears
Just bought it today (10/7/22) with a coffin case and some other stuff at Guitar Center. It’s a fucking badass guitar 🤘 It’s definitely a steal for such a cheap price so get it while you can
Ibanez, I love you - but please make an RG model with control knob a little FURTHER away from the bridge!
Please do this with those lovely prototype RGs the Chon and Polyphia boys are using lately.
imma buy the shit outta that proto for real
prototype RGs... little did he know
mine looks more green than gray, looks good though.
I just bought this today, and bought new pickups for it. Seymour duncan hotrodded pickuops.
I just bought this guitar tonight at guitar center got it home and tuned it the string hit the fret board how do I fix this I naught the extended warranty so I got that going for me
What is the scale length I can't find it anywhere
25.5” … That said, the Wizard III neck makes it dumb easy to play even if you’re used to shorter scale lengths though. I’m used to playing much more expensive LPs and Fenders. This neck is by far the most comfortable I’ve played. Wasn’t even in the market for a new guitar and bought it earlier today on sale at GC because I couldn’t resist how easy it was to play and how solidly decent it sounded.
Does it have neck through construction?
Jonas L it does not
Colton Berlinn so ig it’s some kinda contoured bolt in then?
@@jonasl7383 correct
