To calculate the optimal number of guitars for yourself, you’ll need to use the formula n+1 where n represents the number of guitars you currently have.
bufferkiller to quote Michael Angelo Batio: «currently i've got 69 guitars...and i want 69 more»
That was a clever comment
finally someone who can math
DreadFiri You always need one more.
The problem of having increasing number of guitars is to keep up buying strings and the labor to change it on every single guitar every or other month.
I've been playing for five yrs and I only have 1 guitar.
treat yoself
Honestly save up and go get your self a new axe my dude!
Same haha
One is all ya need bra
Same
I've been playing guitar for 6 years and I have only 1 guitar🙃
Slytherin Queen Save up and Treat Yo Self
That's called self control, usually When I see one that looks cool then I buy it lol
one does not simply own one guitar
Slytherin Queen you are a try faithful person
What guitar is it?
You have a unique "guitar face"
Yeah she starts nodding and smiling when shr grts to parts she likes
like that one player from iron maiden lmfao
@@kendellchurch15
I saw that face xD
Watch any of erock331

I've been playing for 100 years and I only have one old rusty guitar with a broken neck and 2 strings, one of which is loose and just dangles about.
Sorin B 🤣
The most underrated comment here 100%
Can’t tell if she 15 or 35
DuKeBanksy she's 24
Bof
Just a thought to your comment.... What the hell does it matter? Is there an age requirement to her playing and making guitar videos? You wondering her age makes you seem a bit weird. Her age has absolutely nothing to do with her abilities on the guitar and her quest for knowledge and bringing everyone along on her journey. Unreal dude! Just weird!

Hahahahahaha.... Fuck you duke.
An entire video on one of your instruments?
Otamatone.
Go on, I dare you.
Uh oh...I'm not sure if everyone could handle that :)

your clearly having a blast and are very happy with a guitar in your hands...thats what its all about. I wish alot of other players remembered that. Keep rockin chick!!
Hope you enjoy seeing and hearing about all of my guitars! Links and names of each are in the description if you are interested in checking them out. What's your favorite piece of gear that you have? :)
Rachelf keep rocking! Love the various guitars. Enjoy the week.
Thank you, and you too! :)
Currently my favorite guitar is my Schecter Hellraiser FR-S but I have a Schecter C1 SLS Elite FR on special order through Sweetwater that will arrive in early April that may take over the #1 spot! I am dying for those Fishman Fluence Modern pickups that come stock. I loved checking out your gear! Keep rocking!!! 🤘😆🤘
You have some nice guitars, but I would suggest next time you're in a music store to check out a few Schecters. I recently bought a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 and it's now my number one favorite guitar, and I say that after playing a lot of different guitars over the last 15 or so years. Keep on Rocking!
My favorite piece of gear that I have is my LTD EC-GTA. It has been my go-to guitar ever since I bought it 5-6 years ago. LTD guitars is definitely something you should try if you haven't already!
I have been playing for almost 30 years now and put it down for a few years until I came across your videos. You have inspired me to pick it back up and I have since incorporated my kids into playing as well. Thank you. Your cheerfulness and happiness are contagious. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
It is amazing how many people you have inspired to get involved with music. It’s the universal language for all human beings.
Thank you again and god bless you
Thank you for the kind words, so glad to hear you are having such a great time with it again!
Just read some of the comments, it's kind of amazing to see all these envious weirdos "recommending" to buy this or that guitar or not buying stuff at all.....Buy whatever you like, what makes you love playing and what you can afford. Period. I've been playing guitar, ukulele, bass and some other instruments for 30 years and still suck which doesn't hold me back from buying as much gear as I want, without listening to others.
#spoiled?
Sounds kind of weird that you own a bunch of gear but don't know how to play well.
@Humidifiers make my Nipples hard I say buy a really good guitar (the best you can afford) to learn on. They sound great and they stay in tune longer. Just make sure to keep it serviced regularly and you will almost never have problems with it.
i cant get over how much this girl smiles, its awesome to see someone so happy about their hobby; im just starting out with guitars, and i hope i can be this happy in a couple of years too
one cheap strat with rest Ibanez?....
i can see m3rkmusic in you
MattiZ Linden I was thinking the same thing lol
Yes😂
But Erik has a lot of steve vai stuff and he had a mini strat he never had another strat did he?
Lol she kinda of reminds me of him lol
She kind of acts like him too, thats not bad tho
You embody the sheer happiness of what it means to be a lover of music. Keep playing!....and your smile is infectious!
Your telling me your second guitar was $1000?!
I mean, I think she really dedicated time and effort to guitar since she started so she got that price. I'm getting a $700 guitar soon even though I'm 4 months in. Not bragging at all, but just to make it reasonable is because I'm an advanced beginner who loves to play and wants to keep playing!
Price -/- passion
I started playing the electric guitar (already played classical guitar but i suddendly got into metal so i decided to pick one up lol) with a 260€ sg a year ago and now i'm looking to buy a 800€ telecaster
Math Colls agreed
MynxLynx dont get to ahead of yourself i know now you have eight months of experience but an advanced beginner sounds a bit cocky you should strive to be better at everything you need to improve on Im not saying you shouldn’t recognize your achievements im saying if your trying to reach a goal start with little goals such as learning to play a riff slow then fast ya know to get it down pat when you have that down pat go for a harder riff then harder and so on then you get on soloing and other things of the sort
I don't think I have ever seen someone so happy and as smiley about their hobby as you. Keep up the good work. It's always great to be doing something you love!
Seems like youre very passionate about your guitars. I hope to get to your level of playing one day. Ive been playing on and off for a little over a year but id like to be more consistent. Your progression video really motivates me. Keep on rockin 🤘🏾
I like how you smiled all the way through it . It made the video seem very friendly
I’ve been playing for 2 weeks and have 3 guitars and 1 ukulele
Who else sees a problem growing
Damn, how much money do you have
I started playing 5 months ago and I've already bought 3 guitars as well. I started cheap and bought the Epiphone SL which was complete garbage and literally a week after that, I bought a Squire and now I recently picked up the same Ibanez she got for her 2nd guitar.
Your energy is amazing and it can brightens up anyone’s day. Thank you for making this video

I might be in a truly bad mood and no matter how I feel once your video pops up - it just gives me a huge kick in my butt to get up, smile and fight for another day. I love you for that. Cheers and looking forward to see a next ones.
That's so nice to hear, thank you! Hope you are having a great day!
I bought my 1st guitar (acoustic Alvarez) when I was 16 with my 1st month's worth of paychecks as a dishwasher. I bought my 1st electric (Les Paul studio ) at age 47 after saving money for a year by giving up beer and putting the money aside. (That was quite a sacrifice for me!)
i have been a beginner just over 4 months (I had 2 years of private tuition on acoustic 40 yrs ago but gave it up), i started off with the cheapest Harley Benton st-20 HSH , 20w amp kit, 3 weeks later i watched a vid on youtube and fell in love with the look of the Gretsch 5230T electromatic jet , so i bought one, then 2 weeks ago, i bought a Harley Benton Fusion-II HSH ...love them all, and am really enjoying learning the electric guitar and the journey to becoming a decent guitarist , i can only be as good as i can be and i am happy with that :D
Your smile is infectious
I wish I was that happy
@@Teal_Jimmy same here
TealMonster57 Gaming u will be if u get that many guitars
I recently bought a PRS custom 24 after 5 years of playing my Squier Strat. It was a pretty big upgrade for me. The PRS feels like magic.
Loved the Harry Potter theme with the “Beautiful Instrument” 😂❤️
My first guitar a vintage vrs 100 and about a month later I got a squier bullet mustang in sherwood green with white stripes also super light definitely recommend it
I think the pinnacle of anyone's guitar collection would be these three guitars: A Gibson Les Paul, A Fender Telecaster, and a Fender Stratocaster. And you already have the Strat covered. Even though it's a Squire, they can be AWESOME guitars when set up or modded properly! I have a Squire Classic Vibe Telecaster that sounds just as good, if not better than one of my US made Telecasters. My fave is my 52' re-issue butterscotch Telecaster modded with Lollar pick-ups. :-) I love that blue Ibanez by the way!
I would add a Fender Jaguar to my personal list!
Its a squire strat so its not on my list
Pretty sure a better version of that list would be Gibson SG, Fender Mustang and for your Rockabilly sounds any Gretsch/Archtop guitar known to man.
*which one*
I just bought a Fender Strat American Ultra HSS and yes its the Cobra Blue. My favorite color. Keep ROCKIN!!
I've been playing for about half my life (9 years) and I only have 1 acoustic and 1 eletric, I should probably treat myself
Thanks Rachel ... I enjoyed this video and review of your instruments. I also liked your going over why you made your guitar purchase decisions and that you were totally honest on how much you use each and what you use them primarily for.
I have lots of instruments and basically my decisions were driven by many of the same factors you mentioned.
I am primarily a bass player, but have just started to get back into playing guitar again (more electric this time). My recent guitar interest is why I discovered your RUclips channel and I can honestly say that I'm glad I did. I am impressed with you ability in such a short time. Keep it up!
you are the female version of Paul Gilbert when it comes to enthusiasm about your gear
Your so much fun to watch becouse your always smiling and thats very uplifting.
I've been playing the guitar for almost 3 years, and I only have one (acoustic) :( sad
I love how your so joyful each video
I've been playing guitar since 1995 when I was 12 and I only own 6 guitars.
I have the left handed version of the Ibanez RG652AHMFX, congrats! this is a beautiful piece of art. And awesome playing of course!
Rachel - **buys a squire, 6 month later bought an ibanez RG652AHMFX prestige**
Me - ** bought a epiphone lespaul junior, stuck with it for 5 years**
My case but using an Epiphone Les Paul Special ll :"D
Don’t spend so much on buying weed and you can buy a better guitar.
My case but using the SL
Man I'll Probably regret this incel lmao
Man I'll Probably regret this nah man I just don’t wallow in my own self pity saying “if I was a women I would have this item for free hurr durr”
Nice went for the Ibanez RG prestige right away. You can never go wrong with Ibanez. I have RG's and S series myself. To me they are the best hands down. The 2 humbucker setup is my go to choice as well. Keep up the good work and enjoyment of playing guitar and music. It never lets you down. The passion for real players like you seem you have in you never fades. It is always burning deep down inside you. If you would like to make an easy and great upgrade to your RG prestige. Look into hipshot bridges and locking tuners. They make an exact fit bridge replacment for the Ibanez Gibraltar bridge and what is called six in a row locking tuners that require no drilling for either the tuners or the bridge. It will look nicer, add sustain and help the stability of the guitar staying in tune longer. Enjoy and thank you for sharing your love and passion for music and guitar.
3:38 when you glance at your friend in class and they look at you
It's really nice being able to see your progress through the last couple years.
Awesome collection! You think you can play a 7 string?
Hey Rachelf..You know, Ive been playing 30 yrs and I gotta tell ya, you inspire me to play more than I do already..your really good Rachelf, dont ever give up on your dreams..Keep it up and maybe someday soon you'll be opening for your hero Nita..
Her joyfulness rocks so hard that I don't even care that this vid is like Star Trek techno babble to me.
Rock on babe! Make it so ;-)
I’m on my 4th year of playing as of a few days ago.. I have quite a few guitars to be far, a Jackson, a couple epiphones, a couple squires and a fender Mexican, and my pride and joy a 1966 epiphone custom shop SG reissue. I’ve been fortunate in that time, a record deal and a couple great band mates as well as aforementioned gear.I thought about making a channel myself but never got around to it. Seeing this made me all giddy again for guitar and I feel I will finally get around to making a channel. You’ve earned my respect and my subscription :)
That 2nd guitar is really out of tune
It's tuned to D standard, but I'm not sure if I tuned it right before recording or not!
Rachelf okay but very good video👍
Rachelf - do you mean drop d or the whole guitar is one step lower? If you drop the whole guitar that much and you want to leave it there then you might want to check the intonation. Otherwise, even if your tuner says it's in tune it may not play in tune, especially chords in higher positions.
tremeloco - D standard means D G C F A D
The Driver - thanks for clearing that up, I should probably know that.
Congratulations girl, I saw the one year video and the improvement after you got the first Ibanez is Noticeable.
Really cool, wish you continue to learn and and improve as you have done so far.
Who is your favorite guitarist
I've been playing since I was 16 and I'm now 40. I have a 1994 Charvel Jackson and just bought a J Mascis squire fender jazzmaster that is amazing. You have an addiction lol keep up the great work 🖒🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
I love how she is so akward after playing the guitelele lol Keep going Rachel!!!
I'm glad to hear that a squier is a good starter guitar. I'm thinking of starting guitar myself and, most people tell me not to get a squier and I got confused with all the mixed reviews.
I also have one right, it's a very good one but a little disadvantage is that the sound quality isn't too good, but for the price you probably can't get better but it's still a great guitar and I recommend it
i have the same bass but in left handed got it at a pawn shop in mnt condtion for 85.00
I'm a lefty too
thats cool
totally with you there 100%
Eww a lefty
leftys rule expecially me becuase i play left handed and right handed guitar
Been playing for 17 years. I’m 27 and have a few goodies. A mid 2000 les Paul standard, 1961 Gibson sg, 1958 fender Stratocaster in a tri-color sunburst, 1964 fender telecaster blonde, 1956 Gibson j200 rosewood back and sides 1969 Martin d28 and a couple custom guitars non vintage a double neck Gibson sg and a Taylor twelve string acoustic.
Rachelf , I play the guitar for 7 years and I have only 1 guitar 😢, 300€ the guitar. Good luck 🙂
Lex doesnt affect your skills
i have 60€ guitar.
Those blue Ibanez guitars really inspired me into looking at Ibanez for a beginner guitar. And now I three days ago I got the Ibanez Gio (I don’t know the actual model name) and I love it so far. Btw keep up the good videos
@ 3:38 ...lol

I have a white Squier Bullet Mustang, a red Epiphone Les Paul Studio Deluxe, and a Yamaha AC1M acoustic electric.
The Squier hasn't given me any problems at all. A lot of people complain about Squiers not staying in tune and being a pain in the ass but mine stays in tune pretty much indefinitely and it feels great while playing.
The Epiphone Les Paul is great too. I've just had a little bit of string buzzing problems with it but other than that it's a great instrument.
My favorite one is the AC1M. I know a lot more acoustic songs than electric so it's always fun to play it.
Very cool!😎 Thanks for sharing Rachel! I like the 2 Ibanez. Love the colors. Ever thought about a Gibson Les Paul? That's one of my favs!
Thanks for your candor. You are relatable in your presence.
You do realise that you’ll have to do a singing video now don’t you?
My first guitar was my Mitchell Walnut MD300. Still love playing that guitar. So comfy and just fun.
It’s almost impossible for a guitar player to have just one guitar. 😭😭🎹😒😍😍😍🍔🍔🍔
so you can have every guitar in a different tuning
It's possible dude. I dont have money for another one.
I play bass and I only have one , I’m broke asf lmao
Alex Tyurin i have only one guitar..
Bruce Nguyen it’s even harder to pick a favorite one
I’m currently looking to get my first electric guitar and I was leaning towards the Squier but have been watching your videos and wasn’t sure I’d be able to learn with the quality of the guitar so it’s great to know that’s what you started with !
I love your vids u have inspired me to get a guitar and learn its my second day and i can play califonia cation by red hot chilly pepers and 7 nations army and like a stone by auidio slave im working on hanging tree by mocking jay bht to continue doing more im getting the amp this weekend thx so much i love your vids

Wow. It's amazing that you jumped from and Affinity to a Prestige. Quite the leap and super nice. Rock on!
Loved the expressions you had while tapping and doing the whammy bar and you always have a wonderful smile. If i were to suggest a product line i would say the ESP product line or their lesser expensive line the LTD products I have and ltd f-50 and i play it more often than any other guitar i own it just has a feel to it I cant get from other instruments. Good job on your video thanks for sharing
Im glad there is somebody like me out there! I ve been playing for a year now and im at No. 6!
Been playing for 2 years and I for the longest time only had 1. Recently just got another so now I'm at 2. Love Ibanez guitars. Best ones ever made
why is she so adorable wtf
AlexuTheOwl she's quite old
that doesn't mean she can't be adorable
She's 24. You call that quite old?
jake lee she looks 16 when she's over 20
WTF difference does that make?
Good job you have been amazing. I seen you progress through your videos and you inspire me to pick up the guitar again after 10 years of not playing. I also love Ibanez guitars once again I'm playing guitar even though I'm rusty, I don't want to stop again. Thank you
That's so awesome to hear! Hope you continue to have a great time with it and thank you!
Almost all your bases covered
Maybe a Les Paul next
DT Chris AGREED SO MUCH OH MY GOD YES FINALLY SOMEONE WHO WONT HATE ME FOR NOT LIKING LES PAULS!!!!!
Jorge Garcia they look nice but I’d rather have an sg 😍
Grumpy Taco lol les Paul’s are fucking stupid
I personally like both les pauls and ibanezs. Ibanezs for their ease of play and overall feel, but also the les paul for its all around quality build. I completely feel you on the neck width tho
@Jorge Garcia You don't buy a guitar for it's look.
*You buy it for the sound.*
You made my day with you smile and passion. You are funny. Keep the good job!
Next step is Jimmy Paige's double guitar😂
It's an addiction. Years ago I was given a Goya classical guitar. Within the last year I picked up a used fender accoustic, an Epiphone Les Paul electric, and an Applause GTX20. All used, of course.
What amp do you use
1:52 that expression was so funny😂😂
Honestly, you dont need 7 guitars to be good.
Also im suprised how you only played for 2 years, and have managed to buy so many guitars
No. She doesn't. But she wanted to buy those guitars. I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing as long as she plays them.
She’s happy with the amount of guitars she has and you shouldn’t be so judgmental. She’s not saying that you need 7 to be good but that she does have 7
Nice! I'm a beginner as well and have 3 and a ukulele. A Cordoba Mini acoustic, a Jackson DKAF7(first guitar), and a Mitchell MD300(current favorite). What I love about guitars is, no two sound alike. I am currently lusting for a Hagstrom Ultra Swede. A buddy has one and I absolutely love it.
nice collection, i recommend you get a real acoustic guitar, a dreadnought or something like that. It is so important to be good at acoustic if you want to be a good overall player, and acoustic is so convenient and it opens a whole new world of music, youll never look at "guitar music" the same way again
The Cantrell Project agreed
Not really
An acoustic is an entirely new instrument in its sound and play. I agree.
I played flamenco for 5 years and you don’t need an acustic, I haven’t played mine for 4 years now
So, I was a 6 year old kid that was forced to play acoustic even tough I wanted to play electric, 5 years in where I didn’t like a single song that I played, so I stopped playing
Last xmas I got an electric and I am actually enjoying guitar, and yeah, sweeping is cooler than playing overcomplicated fingering patterns
SHe started learning on an electric guitar which is way harder for a beginner, for sure she'll be able to play on an acoustic easily
2 years since you started playing and you have all that gear? I think it iis a little too much
It's never too much guitar
I disagree, if she loves guitars and she’s not going into financial ruin buying them, then she should get as many as she wants.
People are jealous of things they can't afford. If she can comfortably afford it, then she can do what she wants. It's her money, her passion, her choice.
B. Cook she’s not good tho
That might be one of the dumbest arguments as to why someone can't buy an instrument.
ladys who play metal kick my brain so hard. damn good job !!
Should branch out into something like an SG, Les Paul, or Tele!
Niko Yochum a Gibson Flying V is where it’s at
teles can go burn in hell. an SG or Les Paul could work, though.
I have an sg and I hate it
Cam Johnholtz the sg is nice
Newman Waters mine is not. It sounds like a sewing machine
You're quite lucky to have a number of guitars for just 2 years of playing , nice guitars
Lol i play acoustic guitar wht am i doing here
Rachel i keep expecting to see you play one of those new Ibanez AZ guitars. I know you love Ibanez as do I.
an acustic guitar maybe?
No they suck
Hunter jolink just you’re opinion
your facial expressions are always enjoying it while playing riffs they say it all
Power chords all around 🤧
Fun thing to do with the otamatone, go out around the town playing the highest possible note. People love it.
Like your vids but you look high as hell in this vid😂😂
I love Ibanez and ESP LTD guitars!!!
I’ve been playing for 10 years and I only a electric guitar and one classics
I have 16
If anyone slags you off for your collection don't worry its a normal response from people who are not in "it"!! I have 63 basses which I bought, swapped, was given, assembled or restored!! And I get it in the neck (no pun intended!) all the time...Have fun playing AND collecting ;) !
Im guessing you like Nirvana?
Nice, my guitar collection includes a 1982 Ibanez m300am, and a 2018 Gibson SG standard, and I have a Marshall dsl5c, and a Marshall code 50 for amps
Arbitrary question: How tall are you?
Gross
I've been playing for about four months I'm ready to get another one. Getting a 6 string acoustic. After its all said and done I'll have at least 3 guitars.
Show muito bom 😀
I started playing 5 years ago, and the guitars I've gotten is a Fender Squier from my brother, an acoustic from my dad because he wasn't playing, and he noticed I really liked playing guitar. And an ESP Ltd F-350 (Which I bought 1 year after I started playing, with no knowledge of guitar whatsoever lol)
